    ....and the pvp crowd on Ark is the most emotionally stunted, toxic, foul-mouthed aggressive children I have ever played a game with. I have never met a group of gamers that logged on with the sole intention of causing frustration and loss to fellow gamers. Pvp is about competition, not about preventing other people from playing the game and verbally abusing them while you repeatedly force respawn timers and call them racial slurs. When I asked them to politely give me some breathing room to at least progress to metal tools I was not only killed but incapacitated over and over to simply waste my time. When my old ass is dead and gone and these children inherit the adult world I pity them if their real world trappings even remotely resemble the abhorrent behavior and attitudes they display in video games.

    I don't understand how this company has the manpower, funds, and time to be releasing paid DLC when they supposedly don't have the resources for even allowing us to open a ticket for any issues in the game unrelated to violations of ToS. Meanwhile people are losing characters with hundreds if not thousands of hours invested and nobody has time to help them. I really and truly hope Snail games goes broke paying for all of these ridiculous hollywood actors that nobody cares about in Ark 2.

    I guess I'm the only person with a decent computer that is wondering where the servers went that don't have dinos being rendered 5 feet from your face.

    Are there any PC only servers for Scorched Earth Official? I have joined 5 so far with the "PC Only" filter and all of them have been cross-platform. The reason I ask is because the cross platform servers have massive limitations set on things like render distance and the distance from which you can see dinos. I didn't buy a 4090 so I can have dino render distance on 15%. Anyone know if they even have PC Only for scorched earth?

    Please sell structure packs and structure variants. These can be anything from different themed (textured) pieces to different windows, doors, walls, etc. You could even incorporate things like hedgerows, vines to stick to the sides of buildings, statues, vases, tapestries, etc.. Funcom does this with Conan Exiles and charges anywhere from $3 to $10 for these little packs. It adds variety and a fresh breath to the the game and also a cash injection that the company can use to do things like upgrade servers or develop the game further.

    A lot of the people (if not most of them) in Ark Evolved used greenhouse walls to make large glass windows in their builds. As we all know, the greenhouse walls in Ark Ascended have been changed graphically to look like something akin to venetian blinds or some sort of reticulated glass. Most people that I have spoken to in the game abhor the new greenhouse glass walls and would like the old graphic back. So many wonderful, beautiful builds have been completely aesthetically ruined by the change. Honestly, I used Google search for "greenhouse glass" and didn't see one picture even remotely similar to how it looks in the game now. I browsed through about four pages of images before I gave up and came to the conclusion that my opinion is correct....the new greenhouse glass walls suck. Please Wildcard, at least give us the the option to choose either the old look or the new look. If you agree with this message, please reply with your support and maybe we can get Wildcard to change it. Thank you. ps - also, why is there big, thick metal bar in the middle of the greenhouse window? You can't even look out of it. These changes baffle me.

    So our server hasn't been up for more than 10 minutes in over 48 hours. Dupers crashing it repeatedly and transferring duplicated accounts to over 250 other server (evidenced in battlemetrics logs). There was no communication by WC at all what was going on. The simple fact that it took over two solid days for them to notice it even with reports is crazy. Wildcard finally wises up and fixes the server by blocking all transfers from the server. Here is another example of the lax customer support. There is no communication of what is going on. WC does not mention that transfers off the server are block and instead allows all the players to freeze in place when trying to transfer and having to use CTRL-ALT-DELETE to exit the game. If WC expects Ark 2 to have any modicum of success they had better up their Customer Support game and start giving a human feces. The simple fact that these servers are so easily and repeatably crashed by the same people OVER and OVER is astonishing.

    Server 992 came back up after 40 minutes and was crashed again in 4 minutes. I'm done with your game WC. Look at this downtime. They are crashing the server less than every hour, sometimes within 5 minutes.     Server 992 uptime is now only 86%. Same players logging off about 5-10 minutes before it crashes and rolls back. I can't even transfer off the server before they crash it again. If you guys expect Ark 2 to draw in new players this really needs to be addressed. 86% DILO

    Same players logging off right before it crashes over and over. Wildcard,....it's not that difficult to detect who is doing it. Its been happening a week now. Your uptime isn't even 90%, you should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves.

    Gen 2 - 992 is going down for 20-30 minutes every 20-30 minutes. It is ridiculous. If this is people lagging the server on purpose to dupe, you need to get on this and ban these people. DILO

    So we are releasing new maps and worrying about new dinos instead of banning the [] [] [] [] from constantly lagging the servers and crashing them on purpose? I guess if they get a good stream for Weibo that's all that matters.

    Today was the last straw. I took a break from Ark for a week due to the horrible stability of the Official Gen 2 servers. I logged in today to check if it had improved and feed my dinos. After 10 minutes of gathering food in 150+ ping the server crashed. It stayed down for over an hour and when I got back it restored a point before I fed any dinos. I'm done with Ark.

    It's distasteful how we have been enduring server crashes hourly for days and they can't even pop a system-wide message or a MOTD that says "We apologize for the server instability, we are working on it." Then they take all the servers down with no notice or countdown.... only to leave us all in the server select screen refreshing like blind sheep.

    Our server has crashed AND rolled back SEVEN times tonight in eight hours. If this is not ddosing then these servers should have never gone up in this state.

    Our server NA-PVE-Gen2-992 is getting huge latency spikes and then the server crashes. Sometimes multiple times per hour. I have a feeling this is the vendors crashing the server with ddos in order to dupe their clones and fill the inventory of their online vendors. Surely the server is not this unstable due to legitimate means. Does Wildcard have any comment on this?

    I think it's time to reviewbomb Ark and this new expansion until they take these enormous server instability issues seriously.

    I have only been playing ARK for about three weeks, so obviously that entire time has been with the decay timers turned off. I honestly can't think of a worse state for this type of game to be in; it is catastrophic. My first session was spent running around for 30 real time minutes just looking for somewhere to place my campfire due to all of the "too close to enemy foundation" messages. Everywhere I looked there was a player-made pillar. There were more pillars than trees in some areas. The entire coastline was either filled with an unfinished 1x2 thatch hut or claimed with a pillar. I started raging. I left negative feedback on Steam and almost asked for a refund (I wasnt aware of the decay timer at the time). I was disgusted, but I wanted to play so badly that I kept on. My first base was a ridiculously shaped group of boxes stacked on pillars due to the limited space bot claimed and the odd way the game calculated where I could build. Some spots were unavailable on the ground but could be built on via the second story. My base looked like a Dr. Seuss illustration. Then the heartbreak started set in when I started exploring. I found so many wonderful and beautiful places for a base. Places that inspired me to build intricate towers and balconies incorporating the landscape. I watched videos how to do expert structures. Alas there literally was no place for me to build. So I built a raft and started building this wonderful octogonal tower with balconies and pillars....until I hit the construction piece limit. I almost quit again. Here we are now and I am overjoyed. I am so excited for the decay timers being turned off and so many wonderful landscapes becoming available. I play on the official 404 server and my name is Fekth. Come play with me Saturday, Sunday or Monday 7pm to 7am central.

    It's time to add decay back into the game. New players can't even put a bedroll down. Lots of brand new players quitting, getting refunds and leaving negative feedback on Steam.
