I'm encountering a persistent freeze issue while playing ARK: ASCEND on my PC, and I'm seeking assistance to resolve it. Here are the details of my system: Hardware Configuration: CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti RAM: 16 GB @ 1333 MHz Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11 Professional 10.0.22631 Motherboard and BIOS Version: Z77A-G43 (MS-7758) - BIOS ALASKA - 1072009 Storage: CT250MX500SSD1 - Size: 232.88 GB CT1000BX500SSD1 - Size: 931.51 GB Issue Description: Upon starting the game, I consistently experience freezes, making it unplayable. I've attached two screenshots of the crash for your reference. Steps Taken: I've tried troubleshooting on my end, such as updating graphics drivers, verifying game files, and ensuring my system meets the game's requirements. Additional Information: I start the game with the following parameters: -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -sm4 -d3d10 Request for Assistance: I would greatly appreciate any guidance or support from the community or the Wildcard team to identify and resolve this issue. CptYarrr Posted February 25 Share Posted February 25 There can be numerous of fixes. How big is your powerinput? Try to give the game more CPU usage in taskmanager. Your issue looks like your setup cant handle the game. If it was me, cant look into your bankaccount tho, I'd buy a better CPU and RAM upgrade to 32gb.
