Linsanity
I have asked many people about does the level or the melee damage effect the harvesting yield of the stryder. I have gotten many different answers some say it does some say it does. I aam wondering which is correct. Does the level/mds actually effect the harvesting yield on a tek stryder? kyranight
None of the stats increase harvest yield, it's set to always gather the same amount which is less than any other creature that already has a bonus yield.

Over all level would never matter. Melee might actually matter up to a point, but it most likely stops improving yield at a certain %. Anecdotally, we saw some difference in over all harvest amounts beween 150% and 300%. At what point it stops improving, I can't say.
Supremist
From what I've heard melee % doesn't increase harvesting yield at all, it's better to put the points in charge capacity, weight, and movement speed, mainly speed.
Muucow
melee% doesn't adjust the drills harvest yield noticeably enough that Ive seen it does although affect the physical stomp yield on foliage(berries/wood/thatch) low to mildly in my experience with them i queue them up with magma's forget about upping melee through leveling wt/charge/spd are the value added stat increases.
