TEK Sleeping Pod Experience

Does the sleeping pod give you the same amount of experience regardless of whether or not there's an evolution event going on?

 

Say a 2x experience event and you're offline in a pod, or would you receive the same amount of experience passively as normal?

My tribe uses them often and we've found that events do affect you while in the pod. I can't give you scientific data to prove it, too damn lazy, but just looking at the experience counter as you lay in it while an event is active and also several characters that we have leveled to 130+ has made us come to this conclusion. I remember I missed out on a 3x or 4x event for an entire week or so and when I got on my character had leveled twice, and this was after level 130 so I was impressed (because it gets SO much harder to level at that point).

That's just our experience with them but I hope that helps in some way.
