SarahMonette
I got it. You bite them with your turtle. Then on your turtle you leave render distance as in mounted on your turtle do not cryo do not get off the turtle. It helps if your turtle is fast. Come back to the squid and bite it again. If it does nothing leave render while still mounted. Wash rinse repeat. If squid spins in a circle it is trying to grab your turtle. If it fails to grab do the leave render mounted thing again. If it does grab, dismount yourself (it grabs turtle not you) and feed it's beak black pearls. If it squirts you with ink then kill for more black pearls and try another. If squid is so damaged it is in ink squirt it is to late to tame.
Laveyan
Your grammar makes my eyes burn, also I've never had that problem with a tuso, probably mainly because I play only on official servers and not that unofficial crap where the owner most likely modified server settings that screwed up the tuso. Piffguru
I heard something about tuso's not being able to be tamed when up at the surface and that they needed to be deep or something, no idea if thats true or not as I dont tame tuso's. If thats true tho it could be the reason for the problem as lots of tusos spawned beached on CI.
carbonark
beached tusos on CI get stuck sometimes and aren't able to move around to grab something to start the taming process. You are able to tame them so so as they aren't stuck, and you can sometimes get them to move using some sort of large tame to push them around either by walking into them or attacking them which can get them to a point where them will be unstuck and tamable.
