Everybody will be nice at start, but they'll find excuse to wipe you eventually : - You either played too much and was a threat. - You had stuff they wanted. - You violated some stupid rules they invented, such as no gigas or quetz. ... and the list goes on. If you simply want to enjoy and discover the game, either play PvE, singleplayer and/or find a good unofficial server. If you insists on playing PvP, I'd suggest learning the ropes on Arkpocalypse or Small Tribes. The first mode is an official cluster, wiped each month, so nobody has broken OP bred lines. Both modes offers increased rates, so losing stuff ain't much of an issue. Once you are ready, you can go back to regular officials or you can try your luck on full PvP unofficials. Shame they just dont care about there customers and just ignore them then end up implementing something completely opposite just to annoy them for good measure ? covenantgrunt Posted April 9, 2020 Share Posted April 9, 2020 Duo servers will never work. Because 1) People will team up. And you are back to fighting 25 man zergs with your 2 man tribes. You can look at official 6man servers for example of this. It is controlled by what is defacto megatribes. 2) If you play legit there is no way to defend your base from being offlined with just 2 people on. You need at least 6 people (if they are nolifers), or 12 minimum (if they are normal human beings) if you want to maintain 24 hour coverage.
