Plesio for a meat farm

Does anyone know how good is a plesio for underwater meat and prime meat farm? The information seems to be missing from the wiki - is is comparable to a shark for example? I just like using my plesio for hunting

I personally have never used a plesi to a great extent, but I have heard from others that their attack is a bit off. But if you could get the hang of it I'm sure it would be just fine. Not sure how the gather rates compared to moss/shark is though.

plesio can farm a significant amount of meat/prime.

I have stuck a industrial grill on the back of my platform saddle so I can just go along cooking prime meat as I go great for jerky lol

I cant stand using the pleio. too hard for me to use it to attack i much prefer a shark.

My server runs at 0.5 difficulty - and I still have to find a solid shark...the stamina on the low-level ones is terrible - that is why I prefer a plesio, I got a nice one, with quite a lot of stamina and I am lovin it

Seconded on the weird attack thing. I tamed one recently hoping to go around killing eurypterids for pearls and farming sharks and plesis for meat. It's extremely hard to hit anything on the ocean floor and the turn radius is bad enough that I often have problems lining up an attack on other plesis

As long as I got no Mosa, Plesio is my top choice for underwatertrips. A Plesio with good stats just shreds Sharks. I also noticed, that if you kill other Plesios, you only get hide and Prime meat.

A mosasaurus is much better in pretty much every way than a plesiosaurus but both will work fine for farming the ocean for meat.  They both can be very tanky so can surivive anything currently swimming in the ocean.  I used a high level plesio for a long time and you do get used to his attack.

I recently found a level 120 Plesi and was able to kibble tame it. However, I have been using a high level (202 or 203) Megalodon with a great saddle that my tribe has. Most recently, I found a Mastercraft Plesi platform saddle, so I decided to start using my new Plesi. Unfortunately, I've had the same experience as the one I quoted above. I'm trying to get used to it. Attacking anything is a bit different and it's certainly a challenge to kill Eurypterids. I hope the devs could change that, but for now, I guess I'll bring a crossbow with me and shoot those things instead of spending too much effort trying to kill them with my Plesi. She had trouble attacking them on her own when I set her to Neutral.
