Extraterrestrial
So, we're considering breeding some high dmg output kentrosaurus's, but we're having a bit of a dilemma. We're not exactly sure how to test damage output. Dodrex says that a Kentro does 10 dmg per 100 points in Melee. So, a Kentro with 500% Melee deals roughly 50 damage. What really matters is it's special attack, it's skewer/kebab strike. We need to know how much damage that particular attack does. How do we do figure this out? Is there another calculator? Some in-game way of knowing, other than say.. throwing them at a giga and hoping for the best?
cfrostyscriv
there is the dummy you can make in game but not sure if it functions correctly yet, think it still has no resistance to dmg at all, much like hitting a baby dino, you can hit the babies for more dmg per hit than an adult. PuffyPony
Tame a junk creature that can be impaled, make sure you note its Health, then put it on passive and unclaim it. Count how long it takes for your Kentro to kill it to get a rough DPS estimate, and count the number of attacks it makes to kill the creature to get a rough DPH estimate. I can't think of a way to get an exact number without having Damage Numbers turned on or just doing tonnes and tonnes of trials and doing a little bit of statistics
Lockjaw
Don't forget too that it does get a pack buff, so the damage per attack will likely vary depending on how many Kentros you have.
