Volunteer Moderator GP Posted July 19, 2017 Volunteer Moderator Share Posted July 19, 2017 There are companies you can rent servers from, such as Survival Servers, Nitrado and many others. These are online permanently, of course there's a chance of downtime, but very different from someone hosting at home where they may just switch the server off. Mrgooch21
If your looking at starting your own server do some research on server hosting companies before picking one. Alot of things go into deciding on a server based on several things. The servers location compared to you and your target members, how user friendly is the control panel based on your understanding of coding and script, companies like survivalservers are great for people that are new or dont want to take the time of writing the lines of code into the .ini files. While havocs control panel is more made for people who want to customize there server and understand how to write there own scripts.

I got the feeling it's more like, the power switched off to the house, or it wasn't a serious server in the first place.
