An almost naked man is running scared through the jungle being chased by some unknown (unseen) chattering creatures. Occasionally he sees a glimpse or two. He eventually stumbles into a clearing where he meets face to face with a T-rex that was feeding on some large dead animal. The T-rex roars and just as he is eaten everything goes black. Cuts to a beach scene, a few trilobites wandering around. The same man wakes up startled as if from a strange dream. Looks at his wrist and wonders about the strange metallic device in his arm. He decides to walk along the beach in hopes of finding anyone. He becomes thirsty from the midday sun and comes across a small stream. He ventures up the stream into the jungle to find fresher water. His thirst quenched, he sits down to contemplate his situation. A small furry mammal wonders into his vicinity. Curious about the mammal, he studies it. Suddenly the mammal is super alert, looks in the direction of the beach, and runs the other way! The man looks in shock as in walks a Dilo. The Dilo looks non-threatening as it studies the man from a distance. The Dilo hisses, fans out it's frills and spits at the man just as the man dodges the projectile and runs for his life. The Dilo gives chase. The Dilo is soon joined by two more which are behind the left and right of the man boxing him in. The man stumbles into a clearing where he sees a T-rex feeding. The man is seriously confused, somewhat dazed...”has this happened before?, Is this real?” The Dilo's giving chase scamper off in all directions as the T-rex roars in defence of it's meal. The T-rex soon catches up to the man and just before he is to be eaten, a spear flies into it's side, followed by several arrows. A battle ensues between 7 tribesman and the T-rex. One tribe member is killed, several badly beaten, but the battle is won by one noteable female warrior that manages to kill the beast with a throat slicing mid-air strike. The tribesman take the man back to their village not before removing the saddle and supplies from the killed dinosaur that the T-rex had killed. At this point the man glimpses the little remains of a messed up man. From behind, it kinda looked like him? The man is at the village, where he finds out the T-rex had taken the villagers main dinosaur helper for gathering resources and harvesting. He tells his story and soon finds out about the dream that no-one ever wakes from, death and life again, But no-one knows why? The villagers welcome the man into their clan and take him on a hunt to find and tame a new dinosaur helper. A trike. The man starts learning the way of life and gains some vital skills and fighting on this journey. The man saves the warrior woman's life during this journey from a small enemy tribe ambush. The man learns of other tribes, some friendly, some not so much. (love interest starts) Eventually, the group return with the trike back to their village, where there is much celebrations. Celebrations are quickly ruined however when the alpha tribe attacks the village wiping out most of their defences with ease using guns,armour and fearsome dinosaurs. All the women are taken as hostages if they don't comply with the bad guys demands. A strange artifact is taken from the elders house. The demands are to get the other artifacts or else unimaginable torture or worse to the hostages. As an example the village elder is severely torn up by one of the bad guys scary shoulder pets... They then leave. The woman flown away in cages by quetz. The village elder is dying and tells the man about the artifacts and where to find them. He reassures the man that he will see him soon when he wakes up again and dies. Determined to get his love interest back, he complies to the demand. And sets out with half of the tribesman leaving behind those too afraid or old to rebuild their homes. End of Part one... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

rpicardi1 Posted May 25, 2017 Share Posted May 25, 2017 My Bermuda Vacation would fit along a movie line starting out with the seven characters, a single retiree, a newly married couple who runs a sporting business with his wife an anthropologist at the local university, a Vietnam Veteran that has lost the use of his legs and his nurse wife, and their married friends ex military of the first Gulf War. We all meet on a private charter as a result of an invite to an all expense paid vacation to a remote village in Bermuda. While on a fishing charter, a freak storm overtakes the day sailor, disabling it and rendering us unconscious. We end up waking up on Ark Thieves Island, I alone on the shore of a tropical bay, the eight others high on a hilltop in a open temperate forest. If done right, such a movie could be the next Avatar, a rather interesting Tomb Raider, or that most horrible Doom with its FPV battle scene.
