  • Day Zero: Server Information

    Hey, Survivors! As we enter the final hours before launch, we just wanted to get some vital information out to you! :Jerbhi:

    Day One Patch!

    The Day One patch will be set live across all platforms at approximately 8-9AM EST and should show up on all consoles within the hour. This update will include Ragnarok for console, as well as the End Boss content accessed through the Tek Cave for all platforms. 

    The update size for console will be approximately 26gb for Xbox. We do not have a number for PS4 yet, but PS4 patches are usually smaller in size due to the different method patches are submitted.

    New ARK Servers!

    The Official Server Network for PC will be going offline at 2 AM EST, and The Official Server Network for Consoles will be offline at Midnight EST. There will be at least an 8-hour blackout across all platforms where no Officials are online. After this blackout period, we will launch the new Official Servers, as well as the remaining Legacy servers. Over the course of the 24-hours following this, more servers will come online.

    For ARKs launch, we plan on providing new Official Servers for the following games mode: Regular/Vanilla, Non-TEK, Primitive+, Hardcore, Isolated Clusters, NoTaming, Extinction Servers and ORP. With the bulk of the servers being focused on the vanilla game mode (Both PVP and PVE), and smaller amounts of niche servers which could be increased based on player demand. The primitive game mode will be removed in favour of the Non-TEK Tier Servers.

    PC Asian/China Servers!

    The current Isolated PC PvP Asian Servers we have on our Official Network is hosted and provided by Snail Games. They have decided that with the launch, they will be taking down their legacy PvP Servers and relaunching them as part of the new Official Network. These servers will be included in our CrossARK Cluster, and therefore will be transferable to and from as opposed to being an isolated region. 

    ARK Legacy Save Files!

    Later this week, we will have both our PS4 and PC Legacy Save Files available to use. PS4 is expected to be here sometime tomorrow and will be accessible via hosting with Nitrado. Due to sensitive information contained in the save files, it is required to be accessed and hosted through a licensed third-party. Xbox saves will become available when rentable servers are available in September.

    Writing from Germany at 7.35am, ... still no official servers for PS4!

    can we get any information when the servers are online again ? Since it should be yesterday at 5.00pm German time.

    and i find no official infos, or answers in forums about it.

    hopefuly checking back when i came from work ...

    Jk lets take down one-third of OCE servers and give them 12 in total back. Oh wait they are all full... Lets also let asians play OCE servers too, so deal with that. Sweet, i'm going to wait 5-500 mins so I can log on then my friends can follow, maybe next year we will play! YAY!

    still nothing concerning the servers, very sad. 8.58am here in Portugal.  We here at home have been waiting for over 25 hours now

Wyvern matured fully without any food and we didnt get to imprint the 190 eggs we got :( missing the imprint is the only thing that's really sucking. I hatched twin cyan gigas at 18K hp and 230% melee and my 100% went out the window.

    For all the US servers they can keep it the way it is. As for the EU OFFICIAL servers, the devs NEED to wipe them by tonight at 9-10pm GMT +1-2 hours. Most of the people here in EU (UK and BE) need to go to work, by the time we are back all the best spots will be taken and will give an unfair advantage to the people who are able to stay at home. This is unfair and the biggest launch fail ever. Missed deadlines, People reported that even the new servers lag as hell (quite weird, you had 2 years to fix it), You kept us on a leash by saying the server will be up and delayed over and over again. I'm done with the lies. Wipe the servers by 9-10PM GMT +1-2 hours (BE/UK time) and I might forgive you. Like I said, If you don't, then screw you.

    Thank you wc. Great selection in server modes. Greatest game I've ever played. Two years of struggles and now look at what the game is now lol. Awesome. Can't wait to play the orp non tek servers.

    Statements like that is why the devs ignore you by demanding they wipe so it fits in with your lifestyle, give me a break.

    I think the company has 10 designers employed for developing a dino and 1 system admin for 100 servers.

    haha, I was thinking the same. They spend more resources on new dinos than the actual code... no wonder we have poopty frames on PS4

    I can't join any servers on Xbox, they are all full and when i try to join when there's space im just stuck in "Joining session..." 

    I payed 90 euro all together as i really wanted scorched earth...I have never payed out so much for a game in my life and this is what i get ?

    u can play  the game off line , online when more servers are up
