Top Stats For Dinos Ok so let’s chi chat for a moment. Please do not post complaints or issues you have with the game here. What are the “Top Stats” for each dino in the game currently? I would like to see everyone update this as more come available or as they change every couple weeks or so. I have not found an app or website that provides specific and current “Top Stat” levels for specific Dino’s so I thought it would be fun to come together as a community in a “Positive” manner for once and help each other out with a subject that can be useful. I currently have Tusos with 38k health and 502 mele and haven’t seen any higher than that thus far. Gigas I’m holding a pair with 655 mele. What I’m looking for here is a complete and consistently updated list for ALL dinos “Top Stats”.....so let’s get cracking people. As the owner of one of the hottest trade clubs on Xbox right now ( Traders R Us ) I get asked constantly what the “Top Stats” are and can only guess for some of the time because there is NO WHERE to find exact details on them. Thanks for the help. “Ark The Addiction Is Real”

Looking to start up a clean discussion on what changes could be made to the dinos to make them even cooler, fun to play as. Below are just some ideas of what I'd like to see in the next game. Hoping that Wildcard can scale up the Rex and Spino to match their sizes , but to where it's inch for inch; it's more over Spino>Giga>Rex. Even make them at strong enough to challenge a Giga. Apex Land Carnivores Dinos included are: Rex, Spino and Giga Imposing - Dinos here have an AOE that prevents smaller wild predators from attacking their owners as long as the player is within a certain radius. Yutyrannus is unaffected by this. Immense - Apex Dinos receive less damage from small (60 - 75%) and medium sized Dinos (40 - 60%). Large Dinos deal 20 - 40% less damage. Other Titans deal normal damage to each other. Ferocious - Apex can break through stone walls and damage metal structures. Extraordinary Tames - These Dinos are all tamed with extraordinary kibble as opposed to Exceptional from the last game. Rex Chargeable Bite Attack - Deals massive damage and applies a Bleed Debuff if executed successfully. Bleed lasts for a few seconds. Grabbing Capability - Can hold prey in its jaws and either chomp down on them or carry them around. Can hold small and medium sized creatures. Crushing Bite - Rex can instantly kill small creatures in its mouth by biting down. Larger creatures take damage as normal. Roar - Smaller Creatures in the line of fire will poop and stay frozen for about 8 seconds. Passive Abilities: Meat Harvester - Can harvest more meat than other Apex Predators. Scavenger - Rex can gain a regeneration buff proportional to the size of a carcass it eats. Small corpses provide healing for 8 seconds, medium sized corpses provide healing for 16 seconds and large corpses give Rex 25 seconds of increased healing factor. Challenge - If Rex is fighting an opponent with a higher level than that of itself, it gains a melee damage buff that increases melee damage. By how much, not sure. Spinosaurus Stance Change - Spino can change between a Quadrupedal and Bipedal Stance. Quadrupedal - The Spino can run fastest on four legs, but cannot attack as fast as it can on two legs. Neither can it his as hard. Bite - On four legs, this bite attack can be lethal to fish based enemies both in and out of the water. Bipedal - Spinosaurus can attack faster and hit harder on two legs, but cannot run as fast as it can on four legs. Claw Swipe - On that note, Spino can deal a large amount of damage very quickly and can apply a bleed debuff some of the time. Passive Abilities: Piscivore - Spinosaurus gains a regeneration boost when it eats fish or has fish in its inventory. Also deals more damage to fish based enemies. Hydration - Spinosaurus can move faster in the water in addition to dealing more damage than before. This also means that it can become more sluggish in hotter, more arid areas of the map. All Terrain - The Spinosaurus is better at traversing difficult and rocky terrain in its Quadrupedal Stance. Giganotosaurus Stance Change - Giga can switch between defense and offense. Defense - Giga can take less damage in this Stance and build up a meter than can cause it to go into Rage Mode. As a trade off, he attacks slower. Offense - Giga can deal more damage in this Stance, but as a trade off here, it can take more damage from others. Roar - The Giga can roar and knock back enemies with the resulting force of the cry. Passive Abilities: Rage Mode - In this mode, Giga’s attack and movement speed increases in addition to his stamina which will drain more slowly. Thick Hide - Giga’s thick skin, especially in its Defensive Stance is resistant to projectiles and poisons.

Buff T-rex and nerf Giga! Make things more scientificaly accurate.
reidrigo posted a suggestion in Game Suggestions
On the last few days I was watching some videos about my favorite dinossaurs (T-rex, Spino and Giga), and as you guys expect, Ark players commenting are common, and only thing that I noticed is how the Ark game are making a scientific disfavor for the community. Before I started to watch that videos, I was believing that Giga was a giant monster unbeatable by any other dinosaur due to how it is retrated on Ark, but its not the truth. Giga wasnt much bigger than T-rex, was skinnier, lighter, dumbier, with a weaker bite and probably wouldn't stand a chance in a 1v1 fight against the Rex despite being represented as the strongest dino on Ark. In other hand, I wasn't giving too much to Rex, but I discovered why its called as king by scientists: It was insanely strong, bulky, heavy, intelligent as a chimp, with a eyesight as good as a hawk, and a incredible olfactory capabilities. The problem is that im not the only one who was being dumb believing in Ark representations, as I noticed on comments, tons of people are using ark as a knowledge source (they dont should, but they dont know that). I believe that Ark devs have a responsibility here for represent the things as the scientific sources show, and dont just do random things like a unbeatable Giga and a weak, slow and dumb Rex. I know, it takes some research and Im sure that people can point inaccurate others things, but its really worth to keep misleading kids and people who aren't so interested in the dinosaurs things? Btw, based on what I studied on the last few days, I can suggest how they can be on the game now: Giga: - Much smaller size, but still taller than Rex. - Social behavior, buff if hunting with others Gigas (Giga was a social dino who hunted in groups) - A big nerf on the bite damage, but a buff on the bleeding damage (Giga's teeths wasnt made for break bones like Rex, they dont even had bite force for that, but for cut things like a knife and make the prey bleed to death) - A big nerf on his HP (especially wild gigas) since giga wasn't really bulky for tank that amount of damage - A sniffing ability for finds preys or specific dinos T-Rex: - A health recuperation buff, since Rex was incredible efficient to heal injuries - The capacity to break stone constructions with his incredible bite - Inflict "injured" debuff after bite the enemy - A ability to see in greater distances (like a zoom or something) and/or a sniffing ability for finds preys or specific dinos - A smarter behavior, as foccus his aggressor instead of the closest creature, and a more cautelous behavior while hunting, like stalk the prey instead of just walk making noise and roaring With that nerf, Giga would be more scientific accurate but still a good DPS dino, while fictional creatures like the reaper and dragons will become the strongest, but its "ok", since we cant state facts about fictional creatures. And Rex would be a more useful dino instead of just a big tank. Thanks for read. -

From the album: Dossiers
Common Name: Giganotosaurus Species: Giganotosaurus Furiosa Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Angry Wild: Giganotosaurus Furiosa is an enormous predator, larger even than the Tyrannosaurus or Spinosaurus. While greater in size than those storied predators, it can be somewhat less dangerous when encountered in the wild, due to its sluggish speed. Even still, getting cornered or run down by a Giganotosaurus means certain death for nearly creature! Fighting a Giganotosaurus directly is never a good idea, as its rage rapidly grows with every hit it takes. With this rage, it builds increasing reserves of energy to use, making its iron jawed bites progressively more deadly and enhancing stamina. Add to this the fact that its huge body enables it to take a tremendous amount of punishment, and you have a creature that is generally better avoided or outsmarted than attacked head-on. Domesticated: Taming Giganotosaurus is a dangerous prospect. Its rage reaction even when tamed, can sometimes cause it to briefly turn of its own tribe. Indeed it may even throw off its rider is it has been angered! And yet, The sheer size and immense power that the Giganotosaurus possesses means that some factions endeavor to tame it as a fear-inducing "Captal" beast of war even at great risk!-
