prehistoric elephant Arsinoitherium- Prehistoric Two-Horned Beast
rbreich posted a suggestion in Creature Submissions
Arsinoitherium is an extinct mammal which lived approximately 35 to 30 million years ago during the Late Eocene. The name of this dinosaur means “Arsenoe’s beast.” It was given this name because it was found in Egypt near the palace of Queen Arsinoe – a queen who lived in this area in 305 B.C. If you look at Arsinoitherium pictures, then you might think that it was related toa rhinoceros. However, these mammals are actually more closely related to elephants rather than rhinos! Arsinoitherium walked on all four legs, and it was approximately 10 feet long and weight around 2,000 pounds. These animals were about 5’10" tall at the shoulder. ABILITIES: Arsinotherium could use it's 2 massive horns the "impale" enemies such as small creatures and even humans off of mounts and apply bleed to them, whilst carrying them "impaled" on their horns, sort of like the mammoth's grab ability with its tusks. It could have a charge up attack like the wooly rhino, but in order to balance it, it should only do 9x damage at full charge instead of the rhinos 13.5x charge It could have a back leg stomp to ward off any small predators that may prey from its backside Due to its thick skin, Arsinotherium could have some minor damage resistance, e.g. about half of that of a primitive saddle It's bleed ability does the same damage as the Thyla's Bleed its 2 horns can act as an industrial saw machine to chop off trees in an instant and collect wood. RIVALRY BUFF: Similar to a trike buff, Arsinotherium acquires a buff when encountering only giganotosaurus. this buff provides it with a slight damage reduction, but more importantly, damage output increase, making it not only a direct contendor to a rhino, but also a tool to weaken any enemy Giga's/charchas. USES: PVP PVP Wise, I would see Arsinotherium's main use as a support dino in PvP. While the main fights going on, Arsinotherium can charge in and pick off unsuspecting humans/small creatures in an instant, applying bleed and charging away to finish them off. Its natural damage reduction and rivalry buff could also help it with this since if it gets bitten by a giga/charcha during pvp, it can tank it and still make a getaway PVE PvE Wise, such a creature could also be used to travel long distances due to its charge ability. It also could be used as a Labour-Bearer since its high weight means it could be able to carry lots of materials. it can also be used to mine wood due to its weight reduction and excellent harvesting rates rivalling, but slightly under, those of a casteroides, mammoths and theris LOCATION: Arsinotherium can be found in the outskirts of the swamps of anymap, and very rarely, in the deserts and redwoods. BOSS TAME: - A crucial advantage that the Arsinotherium has over other creatures is its natural Armour, even though it is miniscule, combine this with an ascendant saddle, its decent health and good damage and you have a great boss-fighting dino, rivaling the wooly rhino! Weaknesses: With any extra creature submissions, they can be unbalanced in the current meta. Therefore, I've tried to even a few things out so it isn't a massive game-changer on day one. Of course, if this creature is implemented, Wildcard can tweak/remove any of the abilities/weaknesses aforementioned. -when impaled by the Arsinotherium, you can punch your way out of it, similar to a blood stalker. -due to it being a heavy creature, its turning radius would leave it open to an attack from the back, and while its stomp attack can help, it does minimal damage. -It can only heal on veggie cakes and not meat, making it a slow healer early-game -higher breeding times than that of a wooly rhino -medium/large creatures cannot be impaled TAMING Arsinotherium cannot be tamed by conventional means. To tame such an illustrious creature, you must first gain its trust. -First, you must apply a special concoction that includes Arsinotherium male pheromones to trick Arsinotherium's into thinking you're one of them! -Then, you must travel with the Arsinotherium herd and ward off any potential predators. Killing them will grant you taming percentage. -beware, if you move away from the herd, or any of the Arsinotherium's fear that you aren't part of their herd, either by your pheromones wearing off or by you killing one of their own, they will attack you with no mercy. ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE LEAVE IN THE COMMENTS BELOW, THANK YOU. Fact File Page: https://newdinosaurs.com/arsinoitherium/-

The giga is in dire, dire need of a tlc. The model's outdated, it's mechanics are outdated, etc. One of my ideas is that the giga could grab creatures smaller than a carno and toss them up in the air, catch them, and eat them whole, killing them instantly and healing. A model refresh could definitely add some new life into the giga. Maybe some other new abilities. This is just a template for an idea, so very rough. Add your suggestions in the comments below! Good luck, and happy ARKing!

Hi guys, I'm new here on the ark community forums but not the game itself. I've been playing Valguero on Xbox One, single player. I've been experiencing some bugs with the dino spawns! The bee hives won't spawn the queen bee, there's no gigas to be found and I haven't been able to find the new carcharodontosaurus. I also might be having issues with quetzal spawns, but I haven't been checking their spawns so I'm not sure. Regardless, I've only ever seen one giga in my Valguero life and it despawned. Ever since then I haven't found one. I've done dino wipes, killed things in the area of their spawns, checked all spawns thoroughly, made sure no structures ruined spawning and I even used this one code (I forgot what it was called) that tells you if a giga is in the area or not. Since the new carcharo has the same spawns as gigas, you can probably assume I've had no luck with that either. With the bee hives, they keep resetting the damage I inflict, spawn a new hive right on top of the one I just destroyed... I've only found one queen bee awhile ago that I had to kill. I'm debating on taming a carcharo and giga on Fjordur and uploading them to Valguero, to which I need to find out a way to back up my files on Xbox One just in case things crash. Any of you guys know a solution? Or atleast how to back up files on Xbox One?

The carchar is a fantastic looking creature but once I spawned one in to test it, it was disappointing. The stomps of a carno are far more scary. Also the roar sounded about as scary as dodo. It wasn't nearly as fun as I thought it would be, mainly because I couldn't run the equivalent of a mile without stopping for stamina. Also the run animation looks like me frantically trying to get to the bathroom to pee. It's just so awkward! The tail swipe is really cool though. And last but not least, this Dino does less damage than a maewing. Please fix this Dino it has so much potential. Also about the giga, he has about as much stamina as a pteranadon, and hits like a fly smacking a window, they need some help. And I know you guys don't really want to add more to these guys since they can be a little too much of a powerhouse when tamed, but they need help, they're stats are the only reason I'm not going to tame one of them.

Top Stats For Dinos Ok so let’s chi chat for a moment. Please do not post complaints or issues you have with the game here. What are the “Top Stats” for each dino in the game currently? I would like to see everyone update this as more come available or as they change every couple weeks or so. I have not found an app or website that provides specific and current “Top Stat” levels for specific Dino’s so I thought it would be fun to come together as a community in a “Positive” manner for once and help each other out with a subject that can be useful. I currently have Tusos with 38k health and 502 mele and haven’t seen any higher than that thus far. Gigas I’m holding a pair with 655 mele. What I’m looking for here is a complete and consistently updated list for ALL dinos “Top Stats”.....so let’s get cracking people. As the owner of one of the hottest trade clubs on Xbox right now ( Traders R Us ) I get asked constantly what the “Top Stats” are and can only guess for some of the time because there is NO WHERE to find exact details on them. Thanks for the help. “Ark The Addiction Is Real”

From the album: Dossiers
Common Name: Giganotosaurus Species: Giganotosaurus Furiosa Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Angry Wild: Giganotosaurus Furiosa is an enormous predator, larger even than the Tyrannosaurus or Spinosaurus. While greater in size than those storied predators, it can be somewhat less dangerous when encountered in the wild, due to its sluggish speed. Even still, getting cornered or run down by a Giganotosaurus means certain death for nearly creature! Fighting a Giganotosaurus directly is never a good idea, as its rage rapidly grows with every hit it takes. With this rage, it builds increasing reserves of energy to use, making its iron jawed bites progressively more deadly and enhancing stamina. Add to this the fact that its huge body enables it to take a tremendous amount of punishment, and you have a creature that is generally better avoided or outsmarted than attacked head-on. Domesticated: Taming Giganotosaurus is a dangerous prospect. Its rage reaction even when tamed, can sometimes cause it to briefly turn of its own tribe. Indeed it may even throw off its rider is it has been angered! And yet, The sheer size and immense power that the Giganotosaurus possesses means that some factions endeavor to tame it as a fear-inducing "Captal" beast of war even at great risk!-
