  1. Tribemate got a ascendent bp from red desert crate. I finally got a couple wind turbines.
  2. When I played Scorched Earth on ASE, a chainsaw and wind turbines used to be in yellow supply crates. On ASE SE my tribe has easily looted 100+ both yellow and red crates and have yet to see a chainsaw or wind turbine. Has anyone seen a chainsaw or wind turbine from a supply crate? Perhaps its just rare with all the extra loot added to the tables in ASA.
  3. I had just ko'd a beautiful 145 female tapejara, put spikes around it and added mutton. I flew out of render to get a yellow supply drop and when I came back 5 minutes later the tapejara was gone. There was a lightning storm and lightning was hitting the ground right where the tapejara was knocked out. Do lightning storms now do damage to dinos when they are in the ground effects? No way it woke up, it should be out for at least a hour and 10 minutes due to the torpor. Nothing hostile was anywhere near it, I had it on a empty tor. Was no corpse either. Trying to figure out what happened.

    SE Storms

I logged in this morning and a sand storm hit. Immediately my vision narrowed due to my desert helm. I knew that meant the sand storm was working as intended. Sure enough, my stamina started plummeting when I left my base. So it would appear it was fixed but not mentioned in the patch notes. I havent seen an electrical or heat wave yet to know if they are "fixed" as well. Hopefully the frequency was fixed to ASE rates as well. Edit: Back to back to back storms, doesnt seem the frequency was fixed.
  5. Storm rate was toned way down in ASE, I suspect it will be in ASA as well. Its just a matter of going thru all the same bugs from ASE and how far into the list was the weather.
  6. Couldnt run pipes off wells in ASE SE. Needed S+ to do it.

    SE Patch Notes

I dont see anything in the patch notes about nerfing Jerboa's. Mine was 140 today, logged out a few times and just noticed its now level 1. I was a bit surprised they had jerboa's higher than level 1 in ASA but I guess it wasnt meant to be. Would be nice to see it listed in the patch notes.
  8. You forgot to add that the same bugs that existed when ASE Scorched Earth went live, exist once again in ASA. Just like the Island.
  9. Its the same bugs as when SE was released in ASE. The weather is way too common, it eventually got changed to rare. Heat Waves killed you even submerged in water, it was later fixed to being safe in Adobe or standing in water. They did add some new features like falling thru hill/mountain slopes to die under the terrain.
  10. The post directly above yours said what time it was supposed to be released. There definitely was a need if you cant even be bothered to read and find out.
  11. Short of a neon sign installed in front of your face, the thread goes over it multiple times.
  12. From Twitter for those who dont have it: We're still on track for a 6PM Pacific release, but in the meantime...... Feast your eyes on the first look at Scorched Earth Ascended and Bob's Tall Tales! New Youtube video:
  13. Why is ASA still in Early Access? What is missing that it isnt a full release? Why are DLCs being released if the base game isnt done? Note: Im not complaining, just curious about what is missing or not done to keep it as early access.
  14. Im reading in a thread on the Steam discussions that there was an announcement a hour ago that the release was delayed 2 hours??? Why wasnt it announced here? Where exactly was it announced? In the sticky thread at the top for their advertisement it says "As usual, we will be keeping you up-to-date with any changes to the proposed rollout times!"... yet in that locked post it still says release time is 4pm PST. (not 6pm PST) edit: Sorry about having to post it here, its random where and when we are given information.
  15. SE must be all ready to go if they have time to change the forum backgrounds to advertise the DLC!
  16. Well with ASA the Island was the same code. I noticed it right off the bat. I remember the same bugs. It has to be because of all the stuff that has been added in over the years that were based on DLCs. Wildcard usually goes with the easiest/laziest option. So im fully expecting ASA SE to be the same old buggy code. Where heat waves wrecked people instantly, dinos spawned inside buildings, etc.
  17. The lack of updates about a release is sadly "the usual". Most companies would be chomping at the bit, posting updates to hype customers up for it. Not Wildcard. They are as indifferent as a deadbeat dad on Maury waiting on the DNA results.
  18. Come on Wildcard, dont make Dawson cry. Do the right thing.
  19. If both servers arent on a cluster together you wont be able to transfer.
  20. Are you kidding? Another date change? WHY did you change it from April 1st to March 31st in the first place?!?!??! I dont believe the reason for moving it back AT ALL. You guys are a bunch of liars and have proven it time and time again. Why would anyone believe anything coming out of your mouths at this point. Guess we get to wait for the April Fools joke where its pushed back even further.
  21. I just dont want to have to deal with all the same exact buggy stuff that we already had to deal with in ASE. They released The Island using the same exact buggy foundation code from ASE all those years ago. I do not want to see the same in ASA SE. It will decide if my combined Ark playtime of 9400 hours comes to an end. I dont care about train tracks and Gamera. I care about the game being playable. A new game shouldnt have the same old bugs that were already fixed once. Thats lazy sloppy coding and is an insult to the customers.
  22. Now that it seems like ASA's Scorched Earth is finally going to be released, the big question remains. Are we getting the same buggy version that was initially for ASE (just like what was done with The Island)? This will set the tone for the future map releases. If it happens twice in a row we can expect it to happen with the rest of the maps.
  23. To expand, when you open a container, the container inventory is on the right side. This replaces the area with the chibi slot. If you have a container open, you cant see your equipped chibi.
  24. The new Chibi location is in a horrible location. While its nice that it doesnt take up the offhand slot, it being on a different tab makes it very easy to miss it when you are stripping down to use a bed. I had already lost 4 chibis this way during the Turkey Trail, one of them being level 3. Today I lost around 15 more when I didnt realize I had a bunch from Santa's gifts and once again used the bed and they all dropped to the ground. Their slot needs to be on the main character screen, not buried on a different tab.
