I agree with Gen 2, but valgeuro has a lot of flat areas aswell and high levels spawn all the time making taming of new creatures easier (sorry if you already knew this haha). Good luck!

My friend and I started on Scorched Earth as our first real play through when we finally knew what we were doing. We needed a good tribe name to fit so we decided on “Wreckless Fish”, due to the constant dehydration, and it’s with us on every map we play. 💣🐟

Scorched Earth has a soft spot in my heart because it was the map my friend and I first started making real progress on. We played on the island for a year or more just being beach bobs and learning how to play the game, so when we “got gud” we wanted more of a challenge and a change of scenery. Scorched was where we created the tribe name we still use to this day, it’s where I got my first mutation and mutation stacks, and the manticore was the first boss I ever fought outside of creative mode.

I agree whole heartedly with this! I hate that it’s called “just a reskin”, yes it sucks buying everything again but Bethesda did the same for SkyrimSE which improved the game so much. I cannot wait for mods on console that’s honestly what I’m most excited about, all those beautiful community created maps, creating gorgeous bases with S+, and making breeding less of a goddamn hassle by having the auto grabber for newborns and eggs is gonna be well worth the money for me. Wildcard is not perfect, no company is, but im also enjoying that we as a community are getting more of a say in what creatures we get in this new instalment! It’s complete feedback from us as the player base and it’s showcased the beauty and imagination of these creature creators. idk, maybe I'm just naive but I am trying to see the positives in this, although I am wishing for some gameplay to get released soon for both ASA and Ark 2🙏🥰

If I may add to this, as a mainly single player ark survivor I would love to have a boss battle that allows me to use my games like I’m raiding someone’s base. Using mutated tames to help me get to the main Aratai leader would be sick!

I understand what you’re saying, but, for ASA at least, we’ll have mods that can add things we are missing. If they don’t have cryopods I’m sure there will be something that adds them 😁

If this gets voted in I certainly won’t be upset, but I am worried this won’t make as big of a splash on aberration as it would on another map. Eitherway I wish it luck and amazing job on the artwork and dossier!!!

Depending if you’re on PlayStation, Xbox, or PC you can join Facebook/Reddit/twitter pages that will have people advertising their servers they host. Usually they will ask you to join some sort of discord and you can go from there. Based on the activity in the chats you should be able to gauge how many active daily players there are. I was dying for deinochierus (can’t remember spelling) to win! The idea of a big, hairy, duck-billed Dino was so cool! Especially considering I’m a mutation fiend and really wanted the bill to be a separate region 🤣

It’s definitely an interesting creature and I wish you luck, but I’m worried it may get nerfed where it shares a lot in common with the light pets in general. Here’s hoping we see this cutie in game ❤️

I get it’s not your fault so I’m not blaming you, but I gotta say I think post count is a ridiculous thing to base this on. I read community crunches every week, have had this account for 3 years, have it linked to my Xbox so it’s obvious I’m not a bot based on my hours in game, and yet I’m still blocked access to votes. I’m seriously hoping WC will figure out a better way to do this. Creature votes are my favourite part of this community but lately it’s been tiring due to the people who manage to post their creatures first almost always being in the top 10, and now this arbitrary blocking of anyone who doesn’t have time to post and reply on forums they otherwise wouldn’t engage in. Thanks for volunteering to moderate I know without y’all we wouldn’t have these forums to begin with. ✌️
