Update: My Server is up and running (for testing purposes), will be adding Extinction, Fjordur, and Crystal Isles saves to the cluster soon (never know, could be the server you are on!) The issues with not being in tribe seems to have been fixed, so when the next Server Save is released the transition/overwriting the import should go smoothly. Original Message (updated): If you are on Xbox, and don't mind moving to another server, I have rented a Nitrado server for the Official Save with 20+ other players (and counting) chipping in and helping (all of which are friends/tribemates/good players from the server). Donations to server time goes directly through Nitrado (boosting option, no real life transfers necessary). I have last months saved currently imported for testing purposes, but will be importing/overwriting with the new save when released (GenTwo). It is mostly mirroring Official settings to a T, with slight QoL tweaks (like permanent 3x, Tribe Imprinting, Some Increased Limits, etc). No password required, might even leave it like that permanently to make it even more like official! All who enjoy PvE and working together/building a community are welcomed, message me for more details or have questions (even about Nitrado servers). We also have a discord. Official shall live on!

I rented a Nitrado server on Xbox for a few days now, testing with the save they gave us last month. Characters are fine, but they just aren't in their respective tribes but Nitrado/Experts say that it is normal since the tribe doesn't technically exist since it wasn't created on said server. So you need to admin command GiveTribe for yourself/tribe and every other person/tribe that joins the save. Fun. But alas, everything else is right where it was the same exact way it was during the saving process, ready to continue on as normal. Edit: It looks like the issue was fixed, so now there are no issues and the server is an exact perfect mirror of Official to keep on playing with all of my friends and other server players

I'm having the same issue [XBOX], with tribes but not my character itself. It says we can save the server and continue where we left off, but upon loading in I am no longer in the tribe. ForceJoinTribe, ForcePlayerToJoinTargetTribe, and all similar codes do not work, only Give and Take codes, but those require making a new tribe. Really dumb if I'm going to also have to somehow do the same thing for 15+ other tribes... Original message I've been searching feedback for: "Testing official server save but load in and not in tribe. It will say others are still in the tribe, until they log in as well, then not in the tribe. Is there a way around this? Because I'm not going to want to have to force tribes for 19 other players... And yes, I've tried all of the commands. Been messing with it all day. Only Give and Take admin commands work (I'm trying to avoid making a new tribe), none of the force joins do. Please let me know if there is a workaround or Nitrado command to fix this. Thanks." Oh, and once I rejoin/restart the server, I'm not in the tribe all over again....

Idk about your server, but on official if you beat the boss you don't lose anything... And your dinos appear at the cave entrance

Absolutely all for it! As long as the freedom and simplicity of Official still exists! Also all for it! Done it before TWICE when they kept removing legacy servers slowly but surely (even though some are still around for some reason?). But yeah, all hopes of them leaving a few servers up like they did with legacy (to migrate to) is out the window and lost entirely since they want (have to get?) people to use Nitrado (thus pay them back for their loan etc.). All is lost.

Giant Tek Hatchframe / Trapdoor - Very much needed, really wish it could become a thing before ASE shuts down please! Tek Glass - Perhaps one large glass pane (similar to Tek vacuum compartment), except smaller border. Also a bit more clear than greenhouse glass, and one-way only (can see out, but not in, perhaps toggleable)! Tek Refrigerator - As suggested by someone else above, and perhaps can snap together with additional ones (like dedi boxes can).

I like this idea, it's pretty great. From my understanding, however, I believe they changed/made the new Gigantoraptor to mimic what Maewings can do (plus more). I think it is meant to be a "replacement" until Gen2 brings back the "real" Maewings. I could be wrong of course, but it really seemed that way from what I was reading about it (even though I was hoping more for a dino that imprints for you/tribe if you aren't able to be around).

I see, but I was referring to this thread, not the forum itself. As for Xbox/PS, I don't think those subsections (to be honest I've never even seen them/didn't know about them) would be appropriate for the topic since Official servers count for all platforms. Unless there was a possibility that they will leave some Official Servers up for those platforms and not PC, but that would be unfair to PC.

Never said they were. But you came into a thread specifically labeled "The Closing of Ark: Survival Evolved Official Servers" when you don't even play official, to tell us how wrong we are for speaking up and/or not wanting official to be closed. 10 posts or 200,000, that is considered de-railing and trolling the thread.

That can very well be taken as trolling. The closing of official servers affects ALL official servers, including Xbox. What good would be telling them to keep Xbox ones active and not ALL of them? Btw were you trying to tell me the official forum doesn't make it official? What the actual... Coming in here saying that unofficial is the official way to play Ark is completely asinine, and you need some education about video games. The official servers are the "default" way to play.

Because they are. Why else would they exist? If more players choose to not use them and otherwise run (cheat/boost/moderate) a server themselves, that's on them. They are also called "Official" for a reason. There is no getting around that one, it's simply preference. Right or wrong, regardless, it's the vanilla/base way the game was meant to be played by the devs. Doesn't matter if more players decided to run it their own way. Us (official players) are mostly upset that our playstyle, freedom, and community is being taken away from us harshly. None of that is being taken from you on Unofficial. We also should not have to be forced to change to your playstyle. Unofficial is nowhere near remotely comparable to the freedom and vast *public* community that is Official. There are even FB groups with over 20,000 players that can trade/play with each other simply by transferring to their server freely via obelisk/drop/transmitter. I also have bad social anxiety, and prefer a public open server than some cluster where I'd have to know everyone and/or befriend them. Or anything social if I didn't want to. Heck, even fear that it could get shut down (like Official is doing!), or a Mod goes on the fritz and ruins your day like PvP. No thanks. (Not to mention most of my friends can not even play ASA as they do not have the new system, and neither can the rest of their family/children. Paying for a server is also out of the question, and not fair if they could just leave a few Official Servers running like they did with Legacy.) If you don't care, or if it doesn't apply to you, kindly move along. Or help us fight to keep Official alive, if even a small quantity of servers. Thank you.

Idk, but Xbox was extremely strict for a few months. As bad as not being able to say "lol", "Bob", or even type "raw" into item search... But now it seems they said eff it to the filter entirely, and people can freely curse and basically say anything they want... Except for a very small select few of words that can be offensive like my example above.

Put the letters that are bleeped out together, they most likely spell a naughty word... I got snagged with "I just hopped on to imprint dinos" "I just hop*** *n to imprint dinos" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Oh and "My carchas are done growing" "My carchas are do** ***wing" ( ͡º ͜ʖ ͡º)

I'm aware of that but we have still no info on how to save our progress to unofficial if on console.

About 200gb on Xbox apparently, can't imagine how big ASA is going to be, however...

Again, don't really care about prices or even mods... I'm on console for a reason... I care about wanting to know what's happening with my PROGRESS on console.
