  1. I'm glad you found the list. As I said before using the phrase "we are adding 3 more" is a pretty specific way of telling you that these new mods are in addition to the existing mods in the program.
  2. This has got to be one of the hardest, and most fun jobs to do related to this game... picking winners from all of these excellent entries. I don't know how you do it sometimes. Nice work people!
  3. Whoa! Nice work everyone! Great builds, beautiful Ansel screenshots, and some VERY stiff competition in the video category. Who could ask for a better Crunch!?!!
  4. Congratulations! Well done folks.
  5. Girls, girls... stop arguing, you're both pretty! This is a friendly warning to relax a bit.
  6. I believe his point is that PS4 players have been waiting far longer than any other group of players, so they are getting something a little bit extra.
  7. Thanks Zadira, and congratulations to everyone that was featured! The Ansel screenshots in particular are outstanding.
  8. Extremely well done Fizz! All of the entries were amazing this week.
  9. Congratulations everyone! As always the entries were amazing!
  10. Congratulations everyone! Chris if this is your first win they should be contacting you within a couple of days with details.
  11. Congratulations to all the (multitude) of winners and runners up. For that matter, everyone had excellent entries this time around. As for the question "But what would a Mammoth use its tusks for?" perhaps the answer would be uprooting whole trees to produce huge logs. It would be interesting as a building material between normal wood and stone, used primarily for large structures and walls. Just a thought. Oh, and thanks for looking into making follow commands persistent. It's one of those nice touches that makes game play so much easier. Edit: Leono, your Giga vs. Quetz entry is epic! Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
  12. The main thing I seriously need to know is how the "travel" back and forth will work with single player, or if that can even be a thing. My worry is that for single player it will be all either one way or the other.
  13. Hello Darkprince388! Gamerperfection is the Community Moderator here, and that link is to the official Xbox Patch notes... a post that has been continuously updated since it was created on this forum. That's why it still has it's original date. You can always find the patch notes in a sticky post at the top of the forum main index found here: https://survivetheark.com/index.php?/forums/ By way of example you'll notice that the PC patch notes also have the date they were originally posted back in January. It's a lot easier to keep track of frequently referenced threads by creating them once, making them "sticky", and adding more information to it as things are updated. That's also why that thread is over 700 pages long.
  14. Don't let that hold you back MissMimi, these contests are judged on a wide variety of criteria. Builds that don't use mods but are extremely well done are considered even more challenging than a similar one done with them. Besides, the point is to have fun and show off creativity... so go for it! There were many excellent entries this time around, and the Survival Plus spotlight in particular caught my interest when he mentioned new detailed and individualized creature behaviors. Thanks again for hosting the contest and undertaking what must have been a particularly challenging judging process this time around.
  15. Congratulations everyone! I must say, that Bald Eagle paint job is outstanding! And I thoroughly enjoyed Littleaipom’s Comic.
  16. Congratulations to all of the winners and runners up! I've never seen anything quite like this weekly contest, and the huge volume of highly creative works it has inspired.
  17. Well, the one full of oil wouldn't technically be a lightning bug... it would go by it's other common name. Firefly.
  18. Well, I had hopes that I would at least place this time around, but I think that perhaps doing a parody of the Jonny Quest intro ARK style might pre-date a lot of my viewers... and possibly a fair few members of the community team. LOL! Or perhaps using a version of the actual theme from the show made them a bit nervous. Or (and this is perhaps more likely) I missed the comedy/nostalgia mark that I was trying to hit entirely. Either way I can't fault their final choice in the slightest, it was extremely well done.
  19. Congratulations to eco, Wolf, and Nakedzombo! Nicely done and well deserved all. All of the new content Cedric made for Primitive + looks amazing. While I don't think the primitive lifestyle would work well for my projects in the foreseeable future, I'm dying to get my hands on many of the new items it contains. So I'm casting a yearning eye in the direction of our modding community. Ranger needs to be able to build in Adobe and plant wheat (or at least "look" like I planted wheat) in the near future.
  20. Congratulations Monkeypuzzle and well done everyone!
  21. Yes, apparently I am blind! For whatever reason that top left pic wasn't on my screen and I didn't even see it! LOL Sorry about that.
  22. Well, giant sized versions of creatures that closely resemble (or are ancestors of) current insects are actually not pure fantasy creatures at all. Many insects haven't changed much physically over time, they haven't needed to, apart from size. Insect size is directly related to Oxygen level, and during certain epochs the O2 count was much, much higher. Granted, ARK pushes things well beyond their theoretical boundaries... but still... In that picture there is nothing in the right position to lend perspective, so we don't know if that Moth is 3 feet over the survivors head or 30 feet up... which would give us a better idea if we will see a beach ball sized moth, or one the size of a Police helicopter. If we assume the portions of those columns of spores are partially behind the building on the right (hard to tell, because the lines just sort of stop before getting all the way to it), then my money will be on the helicopter, or larger.
  23. Thanks for that! As for fossils coming out of China, be aware that while some amazing new fossils are coming out of there... some amazing fakes have also been coming from that area of the world. I'm not saying to blanket discount every new find from China, but I would recommend taking them with a grain of salt for a while.
