    Can't heal much if you died in your sleep from starvation/dehydration. Then you would log on to wake up dead.

    No it's not. People bred dinos for many years on the original rates, before any events.

    They made changes there too. People always want more.

    As soon as you do that then the new number becomes the 1X and people want more. They have already done what you are saying 2 or 3 times over the life of the game. Base rates are now sitting at something like 4X or 8X from what the game was released with originally.
