  1. How about sending an RCON command "admincheat listplayers". If the server responds, then you can probably start up the next map. You might need to include a timeout, just in case a map has a problem that prevents it from starting up.
  2. I put log files out to a webpage - approximately every 15 minutes. Battlemetrics is useful for monitoring use, but it doesn't show real-time information.
  3. Windows 10 Pro here. ASA is on 23.4 GB right now with 20 players. Was 5.3 GB first thing this morning with 2 players. I'll try to look again in a couple of hours.
  4. The server was at about 40GB RAM used last night with approx 23 people online. Down to 4.8 GB after a restart.
  5. I think I'm seeing a memory leak on the ASA server. Approx 50k per minute is being consumed.
  6. Memory use seems to gradually creep up through the day ! Kind-of implies there's a memory leak. The increase is approximately 50k per minute.
  7. Is anyone able to connect before it starts eating memory? I'm wondering if the save file is corrupt. Also - can I ask how you manage to get so many players online ? Is there some config that allows ASA to run across multiple cores, or to use less CPU time than default?
  8. Are you using any mods ? I run one ASA map - which gets about 18 to 20 players. The most RAM it used was about 28Gig. 17 people online right now...
  9. Check that you have port-forwarding setup correctly - you need three port numbers per map. Also check that your firewall allows incoming connections for Ark.
  10. Nothing to worry about. Server updates sometimes get held back from the public for a short time. It gives Nitrado time to experience new bugs before we get them 🙂
  11. ASA's banlist uses the new format for player ID's, it doesn't use Steam IDs. I assume the whitelist will be the same.
  12. The Ark server uses one core per map. It's multi-threaded, but not multi-processing. ASE maps typically use between 3 and 7GB RAM. More if you install mods. Hmmm, Genesis 2 is hitting 14GB again ! The ASA map has been using 28GB RAM with about 12-15 people online. Currently 5.6GB with 2 people online.
  13. I've used Query port numbers from 27030 up to 27200 and port numbers from 7777 to 7900 without a problem. If you have Steam installed on the server, or any other games, you might need to avoid 27015 to 27050. https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/2EA8-4D75-DA21-31EB#:~:text=The following are ports you,UDP remote port 27015-27050
  14. Spawner failure errors are happening a lot, but they're not causing any corruption.
  15. Plan B... Pick a cooperative player and use the in-game adminmanager to ban them. Look at the file that's generated to see what the banned ID looks like. Then unban the player before they get annoyed 🙂
  16. I'm wondering if we have to use the new ID's that are used in the player's filenames.
  17. >> Used the same ports on the ASA. ASA will need its own set of port numbers.
  18. Would be good to get some information on how to run the server.
  19. We can't say we've been lied to, but we've certainly been mislead in a HUGE way !
  20. Read this... https://server.nitrado.net/en-GB/news/ark-survival-ascended-server-hosting-exclusivity-news
  21. Details here... https://server.nitrado.net/en-GB/news/ark-survival-ascended-server-hosting-exclusivity-news Now wait for the reaction !
  22. WildCard yet again mislead the community by saying unofficial servers could be hosted - without saying there would be a HUGE condition attached. Who now is going to believe anything they say about Ark 2 ?
