Common Name: The Saca.

      Time: From the Ordivician Period.

General Info:

The Sacabambaspis is a gigantic creature that dwells in the sea. It's large in both length and width and its insides are shockingly bare, all that anyone has been able to see is a giant heart closer to the center of their body and somewhere in there is a large pit, full of stomach acid. Most are scared or off put by their most notorious feature, that being their strange smile which is formed due to their lack of a jaw, though I personally find it endearing, like they're just happy they can stick along for the ride. Despite their friendly demeanor, these things are no pushover as they live deep within the waters of the Ark and constantly have to fend against dangerous sea-dwelling carnivores, resulting in their powerful hide.

The skin of a Saca is so powerful it can practically laugh off siege weapons, but as imposing as that may seem, I've come to learn it has a large weakness to things that stick in it, like arrows, bolts, needles, anything of the sort seem to do greater harm to it whether it strikes it from the inside or out. However, this is a weakness that mostly humans can exploit, as few other creatures have access to such weaponry, so the Saca is still a potentially massive threat to its fellow creatures. That being said, the Saca isn't all that aggressive and likes to eat whatever it can, preferably something not fighting back. It favors the taste of fish meat and well cooked meals, but anything else will do so long as it's edible.

Even with its peculiar smile, I find it to be the least strange thing about it. I'm more curious about it's unparalleled oxygen storing ability despite having no visible lungs. The Saca is able to store Oxygen that it gained from the sea to breathe on land for extended periods of time, it can even move around by flopping and dragging itself across the Earth. And if that wasn't enough, it can also jump, it can jump quite high. In addition to its great leaping ability, at the expense of its own oxygen and emptying its stomach, it can release a wave of gas from its stomach to keep itself afloat, allowing it to glide over the Ark.

Wild: The Sacabambaspis is a gigantic sea creature, towering over even a T-Rex on land. Despite their large size, they're quite skittish and will usually flee when face to face with a human. Some, however, will freeze up in fear, unintentionally staring the human in their eyes. If any Sacabambaspis is attacked, all in the immediate vicity will swim away as fast as possible to survive. This is only if a human attacks them however, as they do not perceive us as a threat. If another wild animal or a human riding on the back of one attacks it, it will signal all surrounding Sacas to aid it in battle and will begin retaliating.

Taming: Whenever a human approaches a group of Sacabambaspis, many will flee, however, some may remain. Those that remain are those that are easiest to tame. Due to their large size and their inability to close their mouth, humans can easily swim inside of it. From there the human must traverse its vast insides until it finds the pit full of stomach acid, which is secluded from all of the water inside the rest of it, and then promptly dump as much food as possible into it until the Sacabambaspis is tamed.

Domesticated: The Sacabambaspis is an absolute must have for any human. Whether they want a simple house pet or an absolute unit on the battlefield, the Sacabambaspis can serve you well. Whenever tamed, the Sacabambaspis will recognize you as a friend and allow you to ride it around whether that be through sea, sky, or land. Doing so doesn't even require a saddle as one can operate it from its heart thanks to a strange opening on it that's sized perfectly for humans and is also devoid of any water.

The Saca has a powerful exterior thanks to its tough hide, allowing it to take hits from virtually anything, and can traverse any terrain due to its impressive oxygen retaining capabilities. Once given a basic saddle, a see-through protective layering will cover all of its insides, allowing a variety of structures to be built and hidden inside of it, including weaponry. Simply build platforms and place your cannons and wait for the moment to unleash nothing but shock and awe from within on unsuspecting foes.

One could go a step further and build a platform saddle on it, allowing structures to be placed inside and out. One could build a cozy home on the outside and a line of cannons and creatures ready to decimate the first thing they see on the inside.

Another key feature is that it can open its mouth wide enough to swallow a Rex, allowing easy transportation. Once swallowed, however, the creature will still remain active and with the same aggression it had before, so you'll need someone or something to keep it at bay.

But, if that's too much for you, you could always just go around and have it hit stuff by slamming into it. Or, if any aggression at all is too much, you can always give them rubs on the chin (that's as far as you'd normally be able to reach, anyways). They don't express anything when you do this, they just kind of...stare at you when you do that, but you should be able to tell it makes them happy.

Domesticated Simplified:

The Sacabambaspis is a tanky fish can be used to traverse any landscape, even the clouds, at the expense of draining oxygen when not underwater. Once given the basic saddle, structures can be built inside of it. It can also be given a platform saddle in order to provide more space for building. It can release acid from its stomach as a method for both flight and attack as well as slamming itself into targets. If there are people inside of it, aside from the rider, and they are not wearing the right gear, the gas release will harm them. Whenever the gas release is used, it will flush out all of the water but the Saca will still have oxygen remaining (this allows for easier building, however and strictly sea-based creature left inside will begin suffocating afterwards). By opening its mouth, creatures of greater sizes may enter it, this helps both in terms of transport and in terms of taming as once the mouth closes, said creatures won't be able to leave until the next opening.

Key Weaknesses:

The size of the opening of the Sacabambaspis mouth allows humans and creatures of similar sizes to come and go as they please, including enemies. This also allows projectiles and explosives to be sent into it to damage it from the inside.

The Sacabambaspis is very large and without assistance from others is bound to be struck from its many blind spots. This, coupled with its slow turning makes it hard to properly retaliate and may force a tactical retreat.

Being out of water is very taxing for a Sacabambaspis and without proper management it could easily suffocate if the owner is careless.

Anything like arrows or needles are extremely harmful to the Sacabambaspis and do even more damage whenever they strike the insides of one. A few to the heart and even the strongest of Sacas could fall.

But even with those weaknesses, the Sacabambaspis is still an incredible creature and a force to be reckoned with when put in the right hands.

Common Name: Sacabam
Species
Sacabambaspis Arcam
Time
Late Ordovician
Diet
Filter-Feeder
Temperament
Skittish
Wild
At the bottom of the large lakes where various predators take hold, Sacabambaspis' look makes them unique in style. Were it not for seeing them with my own eyes, I would never believe this primitive and inflexible agnatha fish can survive in such a dangerous place. Wild Sacabambaspis barely leave the bottom of the lakes center, and filter food particles in the quiet night. Considering its environment, I think there's simply nowhere else it could go.
Domesticate
Local villagers can capture the Sacabambaspis with their fish baskets, and make it obey certain commands. At first, I thought they were merely using it as an aquarium fish for its funny-looking face, but to my surprise, they found a horrific utility: Underwater explosive! It turns out that the Sacabambaspis' food contains something very unstable in chemical properties, which accumulated in its body without problems——that is until survivors feed them the plant species Z seeds, which interrupt the Chemical balance within the fish, and turn it into a potential bomb. Once engaged in a fight underwater, the Sacabambaspis will explode, unleashing powerful energy that causes dramatic changes in water pressure and harming the enemies nearby.

In-game:
-a small fish just like coelacanth and salmons
-Only can be found in the center region of the lakes of green and blue zones
-Use fish trap to tame
-behave just like other fish when tamed
-Press E to feed the fish with plant species Z via "0" key position, and the Sacabambaspis will get a buff of "unstable"
-Whistle to attack a target and the fish will swim to the target, explode upon contact
-Damage is the same as RPG, and killing the Sacabambaspis itself in the process.
