  1. Common name: Dinocaris Species Anomalocaris valensforpex Time Late Cambrian Diet Carnivore Temperament Aggressive Wild The seas around this land always hold amazing discoveries for me, take Anomalocaris for instance, this creature belongs to the most ancient lineage of predators with more than 500 million years. However, this lobopodia member lacks the armor of arthropods and the powerful jaws of fish that later evolved, which once puzzled me on how it competed with other predators from other eras. Until I found its surviving skill: Micro-predation——Despite being not very big, the Anomalocaris preys on the largest creatures in the water; The "Claws" of this animal are so powerful that they can latch onto giant marine animals, and it has movable hook-like spikes around its mouthpart, allowing it to "grind" flesh and tissue from its prey. Without the heavy exterior armor, the Anomalocaris can burst forward quickly, giving the animal its common hunting strategy: Getting close to its victims slowly and smashing towards it when close enough and latching onto them before "grinding" its feast. The victims are unable to sprint or use strength due to the pain it caused. After fulfilling its appetite, the Anomalocaris will flee quickly. Domesticate So far, I haven't seen any survivor successfully tame an adult Anomalocaris, but rumors claim that some fishery tribes found that after killing a male Anomalocaris, they can collect the Anomalocaris sperm sacks, and when they injected the sperms into a Knocked out female Anomalocaris womb, they will be rewarded a fertilized egg. Hatching the egg and raising the young to adulthood will get them responsive to human command. I heard that they have even ridden the Anomalocaris and used their skill to bring down large marine creatures! In-game: -Found in the mid-depth sea, similar to Dunkleosteus -Behave like other marine lifeforms -Won't attack players unless they are riding large sea mounts(Size above Megalodon) Taming: Kill a male Anomalocaris and get the "Anomalocaris sperm sacks"; KO a female Anomalocaris and open its inventory, there will be an "unfertilized Anomalocaris egg", put in the "Anomalocaris sperm sacks", and craft the "fertilized Anomalocaris egg" in the female one's inventory by consuming the "Anomalocaris sperm sacks" and "unfertilized Anomalocaris egg", take out the "fertilized Anomalocaris egg" to hatch and raise, no special food required. The level will only be decided by the female's level. -Can be ridden without a saddle, left mouse to conventional attack, right mouse to "latch onto" large creatures, similar to deinonychus, but only apply to large marine creatures, when attaching, Anomalocaris can cause only 75 fixed damage. Will let go when stamina runs out. -Putting on the saddle to allow weaponry use when riding, allowing the player to use crossbows or other weapons when riding. In this way, the Player can "latch onto" the target and use a crossbow or harpoon launcher to KO or kill the target.
  2. Common Name: JakapilSpecies Jakapil ViviscutumTimeMid CretaceousDietHerbivoreTemperamentSkittish to Neutrual Wild: Roaming around the dry plateau, the Jakapil is a unique armored herbivore: It possesses highly defensive armor as an effective defense like others of its kind such as Ankylos and Stegos, but walks on two legs and is much smaller in size. Different from its fearsome look, the Jakapil is a docile creature and usually runs away from provocation from other creatures, but the enemies keep persist, the Jakapil will also boldly fight back with the spikes that cover its body. The Jakapil has a unique mechanism to store the fruits and tubers it found in its body and slow down their spoiling with special chemicals it produces, and enjoy the feast when it returns to safety. Domesticate: The Jakapil is an effective tool against ambush for many survivors who successfully tame one. When picking up one of the owner's back, Jakapil's sharp spikes and flexible moves can prevent the survivor from being "picked up" or "gripped" by small and mid-size creatures, such as Kapro and Megalosaurus, acting like a living shield. Survivors also utilize its capability of storing vegetation to find and store plant-based foot material to help them better use their resources. In-game: -Found on snowy highland or grassland, similar to Kentro -Will be attacked by predators, flee at first, when health is reduced to 50%, it will start a "defense mod" and fight back, reducing the damage it receives to 25% and has a 10% rate to reflect the same damage to the attacker by 25% of the attacker's damage. -KO to tame, Green kibbles, and savoroot works the best, others are less effective. -Pick up the Jakapil, and the player will get a buff, and be immune to the "Pinned down" attacks from small to mid-size animals, including raptors, Thylco, Kapro, and Kentros, But not useful against larger creatures, like Karkinos and Queztal, -Press E longer to enable the dinosaur's "defense mod", which works the same as the wild counterpart under 50% health. -Place raw plant-based materials, like berries, vegetables, Giantbeehorny, rare flowers, rare mushrooms, and Cactus Sap in the Jakapil's inventory, and their spoiling time will be tripled. but not apply to meat or recipes
  3. Common Name: Sacabam Species Sacabambaspis Arcam Time Late Ordovician Diet Filter-Feeder Temperament Skittish Wild At the bottom of the large lakes where various predators take hold, Sacabambaspis' look makes them unique in style. Were it not for seeing them with my own eyes, I would never believe this primitive and inflexible agnatha fish can survive in such a dangerous place. Wild Sacabambaspis barely leave the bottom of the lakes center, and filter food particles in the quiet night. Considering its environment, I think there's simply nowhere else it could go. Domesticate Local villagers can capture the Sacabambaspis with their fish baskets, and make it obey certain commands. At first, I thought they were merely using it as an aquarium fish for its funny-looking face, but to my surprise, they found a horrific utility: Underwater explosive! It turns out that the Sacabambaspis' food contains something very unstable in chemical properties, which accumulated in its body without problems——that is until survivors feed them the plant species Z seeds, which interrupt the Chemical balance within the fish, and turn it into a potential bomb. Once engaged in a fight underwater, the Sacabambaspis will explode, unleashing powerful energy that causes dramatic changes in water pressure and harming the enemies nearby. In-game: -a small fish just like coelacanth and salmons -Only can be found in the center region of the lakes of green and blue zones -Use fish trap to tame -behave just like other fish when tamed -Press E to feed the fish with plant species Z via "0" key position, and the Sacabambaspis will get a buff of "unstable" -Whistle to attack a target and the fish will swim to the target, explode upon contact -Damage is the same as RPG, and killing the Sacabambaspis itself in the process.
  4. Psittacosaurus: a living flash-bang Common Name: Psittaco Species Psittacosaurus Fulgurcauda Time Early Cretaceous Diet Herbivore Temperament Skittish Wild Psittacosaurus lives in the middle part of the large cavern where predators of all sorts roam around alone side the alien-like blue crystals. At first, I can hardly imagine how such a small and vulnerable herbivore survive the hunt of the tricky predators down there until I discovered its ultimate escaping skill: Flashbang! This primitive ceratopsian seems able to store magnesium-rich substance from the seeds it ate, which are produced by the strange glowing plants nearby, in the glands among the bristles on its tail! When the Psittacosaurus is under attack, it will release such substance and quickly ignite it with bio-charge, generating an extremely bright flash illumination. Many predators are adapted to hunt in low-light conditions, and often get dizzy when exposed to such bright light, giving the small dinosaur some time to flee. Interestingly, even though the light is as bright as lightning itself, it won't affect you when you are at distance and not staring at it. Domesticate Psittacosaurus love to rest on their owners' shoulders, and make them decent traveling companions. Their special "flash-bang" skill can prove life-saving in desperate moments. Some survivors trained their Psittacosaurus to release the "Flash-bang" on command to temporarily immobilized their enemies and turn the tide of the fight. Meanwhile, the Psittacosaurus' powerful beak makes a useful tool as well: Its eating habits make them often need to grind wood and even rock, allowing it to serve as a "living grinder", many survivors use this feature to grind wood into the thatch and rock into flints for better utilizing of resources. In-game Wild: -Inhabit the blue region of the cavern, often found near Plant species Z -timid, release flashbang when under attack -Creatures and players within its affected range will be flash banged, and the flashbang effect is the same as that of the fruit of plant species Z. -When players are out of that range, they won't be flash banged, unless the flashbang is at the center of the players' sight (screen center) -KO to tame, Plant species Z seeds work the best, mushrooms are less effective, berries are more inferior. Tamed: -Set the dinosaur to aggressive or whistle "attack this target" to enable the Psittacosaurus to use flashbang. -Flashbang cannot be used continuously, there will be a cool-down before the next one triggered -If on the shoulder, flashbang will be triggered when enemies are close enough -If on the ground, Psittacosaurus will move towards the target and use flashbang when it gets close enough. -Level up the dinosaur's melee damage to increase its flashbang range -level up the dinosaur's stamina to shorten the cool down between flashbangs -Put wood\Fungi wood in the Psittacosaurus inventory and use the Grind option to produce thatch(similar to that of a Tropeo), and rock into flints.
