TR-8R
Anti-meshing destroy tamed Ferox . I was on the open field , sloped hill , waiting for my ferox to transform back to small form and boom , it vanished because of anti meshing . If you have time , go back to your base and wait there , or risk of getting your tamed ferox destroy by the wacky anti meshing .

xirael
It can happen while you are taming to, and you will lose all your element xD, I think Ferox is the buggiest dino ever, I guess the Yerboa was cursed and re skinning those little bastards was a bad idea xd
Bitsmash
This has happened so many times to my tribe. To date, we've lost like 4 or 5 this way, that I'm aware of. Tribemate had countless ferox just disappear while taming also. If you can plan it out, like @TR-8R said, feed it an element to keep it big till you can get back to base or on top of a player-made structure, like a platform or foundations/ceilings of some sort. The other buggy "feature" we deal with a lot is the loss of ability to access their inventory when they're big. You get ready to go to fight and you can't equip its helmet for example. When this bug happens, another thing will also go wrong: your ferox will harvest stuff till it can't move and you're a sitting duck because you can't empty its inventory. If you think about in time, you can disable harvesting. Sigh. So buggy!
