Weplovista Posted November 25, 2018 Share Posted November 25, 2018 I built my base near the border of the map, close to one of those glowing-red silver towers. It was a great spot at first but now I find the constant ringing is driving nuts. Does anyone know how to turn this sound off while not turning off all other sounds? I know moving is an option but I would rather not. Would be nice if the game just stopped making the sound when you've been right next to the border for more than 5 mins or so. QueenCorgi Posted November 25, 2018 Share Posted November 25, 2018 I doubt there's a way to turn it off since it is there specifically to warn you that you are close to the edge. The closer you are the faster the rings are. There's no protective border here. If you pass those you take constant damage at a decent rate, so removing the sound would make it possible for you to accidentally get yourself and/or tames killed by going past the towers.
