Unless you’re new, everyone should know by now that when paid DLC come out, all of the assets get added to the base game. The only thing that doesn’t get downloaded, is the map which you must pay for. With that said, Wildcard aren’t the only culprits as larger companies are even worse for it such as the recent Battlefield games in their franchise that literally make you download all files despite paying for the content or not, hiding it behind a paywall. Using BF1 as an example, I started playing it again recently, got premium free on offer, expecting the maps to download, only for them to instant unlock and gain immediate access to them seconds after claiming the content.
