It does suck when it is in fall animation somewhat frequently but I used stone cliff platforms to jump to the NW surface and go drop to drop at night (I have 2 bookshelves full of MC and Ascendant gear, saddles, and weapons from only about 55 night trips). I have killed up to 6 reapers at the SAME time, so far I would say I have killed up to 15 in one night and it is only a 143 fully leveled crab so if I get an even better tame it almost seems like it would be invincible. It makes for slow travel jumping around the map but I use him everywhere and love that most creatures ignore him. I play as a 2 person tribe so if it weren't for our 2 crabs, I don't think I would ever had made it to the trench. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Anubis7 Posted January 9, 2018 Author Share Posted January 9, 2018 Yeah i got to say Basilisk is definitely one of my favorites with it's ability to go under ground + great ranged attack, good attack speed and incredible weight with stone reduction. (Tanky, decent attack, high weight, mobile taming machine, mad hops) My least favorite would have to be the Featherlight, Shinehorn and Glowtail. Not because they aren't adorable. But because their stats suck in comparison to the Bulbdog. It doesn't make any sense to me why the easiest obtainable light pet is the best all-around. Makes me less interested in them. Bulbdogs have the best capacity, Featherlight has the biggest range, Glowtail the fastest recharge, whilst the Shinehorn has a good balance between them all. So really it depends what you're looking for, some people swear that recharge rate is the thing to pump, some prefer a huge capacity, for covering all corners of the base some will want range, and others will want a bit of everything. Two things though that the Bulbdog does have over the others, higher base health, and the fact that it's an omnivore, makes having a light pet in those early stages a bit easier. The Wingsuit. Seriously though, the Karkinos is probably my favorite out of the new creatures with a close second/third being the Rock Drake and Ravagers. All time favorite is still the frog though.
