Sharky032
Spent 2 hours looking for ovis the other night as we had a 150 Griffin down but couldn't find 1. Also we haven't come across a otter either. Looked on the spawn maps to find where they are but nothing. Anyone else having the same issues? Thank you worked well. i managed to find out that you have to find where the otter's spawn then kill all the fish in the lake. otters will spawn where big groups of fish spawn. takes abit of time but i maneged to tame
YourFavoriteOni
Actually I'm having the same issue but I also play on Primitive Plus and have been switching between all 3 main maps. Since day one I have been searching, but can't find any and I'm starting to believe they just don't exist for Prim Plus yet on the Xbox One. I've checked all of the spawn locations using the Spawn Map for all 3 maps, and even have a small base set up specifically to just go and look for the otters, but so far have found absolutely nothing. TierRen
I have seen more unicorns out and about on our server than otters. I have spotted unicorns on a few different occasions-- one came home with me, but not a single otter. Boyfriend found two otters and tamed them. I guess he must just be the tribe otter whisperer. DeFF
good otter spawns is 61/32. there are 2 small lakes in wood... usually i see one or two otters swimming there... if there is nothing, just kill 80-90% of fish and return back in hour or so... should help to spawn new otter/fish... guess they have the same spawns... not sure, but it works for me. Aviselan
We definitely have a hard time finding otters. Built around one of the lakes that has the tapable trees and occasionally will get an otter every... 5 days maybe? Got lucky and got a breeding pair, so we just started breeding them instead.
