lordlazerbeam
Anyone know of a particular place to clear for Giganotosaurus and Quetzal?
Munkky
The best places to find a Quetzalcoatlus are the Southern Jungle (South West area of the map) and the Grand Hills area around the Volcano. The Giganotosaurus mostly spawns in the Northern and Western areas, but the place they spawn the most frequently is Frozen Tooth Mountain. These pages have maps which show where they spawn. http://ark.gamepedia.com/Quetzal http://ark.gamepedia.com/Giganotosaurus

swayyy
I was looking for this information too, thank you! It took me 2 hours to find one and I was delighted (and irritated that it was just a plain brown looking one). However... I got so excited that I found one, that I landed my bird and pulled out my gun to hit it with a tranq dart, only to quickly discover that I accidently pulled out my shotgun and blasted it instead of using the longneck. It then fell to the earth, lifeless. Crap! Now another few hours of hunting soon lol.
LilNastyGurl
There was a list of exact Coords where they spawn, but it got lost somewhere on the forum. Anyone got it?

booned
In my experience, there is almost always a quetz around red ob, and occasionally around green. Gigas are usually around the eastern and northern mountains.
