ProfFrnswrth Posted January 5, 2016 Share Posted January 5, 2016 Hey everyone, I just purchased this a few days ago on Xbox and notice the wait times to get into my tribe's server is sometimes on the end of 30-40 minutes. A lot of people play on unofficial servers because they like Mods or adjusted stats, or even just having Admins that are active and can actually do something about bugs and hax. Plus our official servers have been up for 6 months, so the majority are lorded over by alpha tribes so many people opt into unofficial servers with admin moderated rules keeping these tribes from killing servers. The mass player base on unofficial servers, plus the hierarchy of alpha tribes keeps the population on official servers to a manageable level, so no. we typically don't have a long wait to get onto servers. Perrin Aybara Posted January 5, 2016 Share Posted January 5, 2016 I should mention that unofficial servers are run by players, and the Ark Dev's have nothing to do with hosting these, so we aren't being "spoiled" by the Dev's.
