Hey everyone, I’m getting back into ARK after a good bit of time away and I’m setting up a server for anyone who wants to start fresh and play through the whole game properly. It’s first come, first served. Mainly for newer players or people returning like myself. The plan is to 100% the game — starting on The Island, working through every boss (Gamma → Beta → Alpha), doing all the maps in order, and including big modded maps like Ragnarok. After we finish everything on ARK SE, the goal is to move over to ASA and do the same again. If you fancy a proper progression run with a chill group, you’re welcome to jump in early. I don't know why this topic has not been discussed yet, but Ark Ascended was recently steam verify and IT DOES NOT RUN on steam. You can put it on any resolution and it crashes. You can put it on the lowest settings and it crashes after a few minutes. This is not a steamdeck playable game. I mean, I can run Cyberpunk on my steamdeck no issue...and somehow Ark Ascended breaks the darn Steamdeck lol At some point someone has to manage quality control for Ark. And make sure that they label things properly before they are braking some False Advertising laws. Imagine buying Ark Ascended for your steamdeck and that not working. you are talking about a 100 dollar game as a whole. Just be ware...ARK ASCENDED does not work natively for the SteamDeck. I have been experimenting with the settings and there is no setting where is playable without crashing. The only way to play ark on steamdeck is to stream to it. That is not what STEAMDECK verify means.
