  1. Words from the Author: All images and the dossier in this submission are made by myself, and I spent a lot of time and energy on this creature in general, so I’d really appreciate it if you could leave a vote on it. When I heard that The Center was getting a creature vote, I wanted to give its vast oceans a friendly and unique creature, that still had the ability to help immensely in exploring the oceans. There aren’t many turtles in Ark, and archelon could certainly fill a ‘gentle giant’ role, so I chose it. I created a oceanic creature since the ocean is an important part of The Center, but I didn’t have a great experience with it. I hope that having this liopleurodon-sized turtle would be able to convenience the lives of everyone playing on The Center greatly. The mechanics of this creature are not complicated, even easy to use, and its taming is not too expensive or complicated. Sufficient combat ability and incredible movement ability allow archelon to deal with the various unpleasant neighbors you’ll find in the ocean, and its ability to collect bio toxin and ammonite bile effectively should help players with things like making shocking tranq darts. Archelon’s base movement speed is not much slower than an ichthy, and with its special saddle (the archelon submarine saddle) equipped, it becomes the single fastest creature in the ocean, and the rider’s pov is much clearer. And even against the powerful tusoteuthis, archelon can quite easily defeat it. Overall, I think this creature could absolutely become a useful companion for survivors exploring the underwater world. If you like what you’ve seen so far, feel free to keep reading for the detailed design. I’m sure you will find it unique and interesting, and thank you in advance for your support. Basic information: Name: Archelon Marinusnavis Period: Cretaceous Temperament: Friendly Diet: Carnivorous Size: around liopleurodon sized Drops: Large amounts of raw meat and hide, small amounts of raw prime meat and keratin Base Stats: Health: 1200, +240, +5.4% Stamina: 750, +75, +10% Oxygen: N/A, +0, +0% Food: 4000, +400, +10% Weight: 1000, +20, +4% Melee Damage: 100%/175%, +5%, +1.7% Movement speed: 100%, +0%, +2% Speed values(wild): 120,240(land)/600,1800(water) Speed values (tamed): 120,360(land)/600,2400(water) Torpor: N/A Other: cannot be ridden without a saddle, 410 drag weight, can enter boss arenas Habitat: Archelon can be found on the beaches and in the oceans of The Center. Dossier text-wild: To survivors, archelon is quite friendly, usually not attacking smaller creatures including humans. Their aggression is instead saved for their attackers and prey. Archelon’s keratinous beak is like a sharpened pair of shears, allowing them to mainly prey on slippery cnidaria and ammonites. Archelon’s shell is made of its ribs, leathery skin and keratin, making it quite light, but nowhere near as solid as carbonemys’ rock-hard shell. Though, the softer armor still has its benefits, mainly, resisting the crushing pressure of the deep ocean, allowing archelon, which mainly inhabits the shallows, to enter the depths in search of more jellies and ammonites. Taming: Archelon can be tamed starting at player level 57, with two methods available. Method 1: Find a wild adult archelon and passive feed it to tame. They are not aggressive and will happily become a loyal companion if satisfied in terms of food. To tame, archelon will accept foods such as superior kibble, ammonite bile, bio toxin and the various meats. The passive taming method is easy on the resources, not needing tranqs, which is why I chose it. Notably, it is much safer to feed an archelon on land, since you would not have to deal with the various dangers of the ocean. Method 2: Find a wild baby archelon and passive feed it to tame. Baby archelon’s will not eat ammonite bile or bio toxin, and will lose health if on land, but require much less food than an adult archelon, and allows for imprinting once tamed. Dossier text-tamed: The boat-like archelon is unbelievably helpful for any survivor. The agility these giant turtles possess is simply amazing, with their gigantic flippers serving as wonderful paddles, archelon is one of the fastest swimmers in the ark’s oceans that’s also able to carry large amounts of resources with their sheer bulk. In addition, they are adept at hunting cnidaria and other soft-bodied animals, and at getting as much from their prey as possible. There for, it would be smart to utilize archelon to safely and efficiently harvest resources such as bio toxin. Saddle Information: The archelon basic saddle is unlocked at level 57. It is a standard saddle with 25 armor that allows for rider weaponry that needs hide, fiber and metal ingots to craft. The archelon submarine saddle is unlocked at level 67, and needs hide, fiber, cementing paste and metal ingots to craft, costing more than the basic saddle. When equipped, it provides the rider with infinite oxygen and rider protection by way of a sealed off chamber and has 35 base armor. The saddle is also equipped with two high-powered lights to illuminate deep water, and two powerful propellers at the rear end, increasing the archelon’s speed significantly. However, the lights and propeller need gasoline to activate. The Archelon Marinusnavis and its submarine saddle. Breeding: Archelon can be bred, laying eggs. Archelon eggs can be used to make superior kibble. Archelon eggs must be hatched on land, but baby archelon must grow up in water until adulthood, as they rapidly lose health on land. Attacks: Left click: A basic bite. 45 base damage, collects large amounts of meat, bio toxin, ammonite bile and small amounts of hide. Archelon’s keratinous beak is very sharp, meaning their combat power is actually not much weaker than creatures of similar sizes. This ability alone allows archelon to defeat enemies such as the vicious megalodon or swarms of anglers and eels. Right click: Archelon slaps with its flippers. Costs 100 points of stamina, base 35 damage. If hitting a creature smaller than an ichthy, the creature is stunned for 10 seconds. If hitting a creature between ichthy and megalodon in size, the creature is stunned for 5 seconds. Archelon’s front flippers are extremely large and extremely useful, both in movement and combat. Stunning an enemy could allow more room for error or an opportunity to flee in combat, allowing archelon to get out of sticky situations much better. 😄 C:Archelon ingests 250 bio toxin or ammonite bile from its inventory and recovers 1500 health. This ability has a 20 seconds cooldown. Acquiring such ingests would not be difficult for survivors with an archelon, and this ability would especially give the underused ammonite bile a use in healing archelon with its favoroite foods. X: Activates the submarine saddle. Archelon gains a 75% speed increase and a slightly larger turn radius. As stated before, this ability needs gasoline to activate. The advanced saddle makes the experience of using archelon even more enjoyable, specifically with more speed thanks to this mechanic in order to better explore the oceans. Spacebar: Rapidly ascend upwards in water. This ability gives archelon’s mobility a general boost, and allows the survivor to quickly get the fresh air at the surface if needed. Passive abilities: Leathery shell: Archelon’s leathery shell can protect against damage to a certain degree. Archelon has innate 25% damage resistance, and is immune to: -Tuso ink and grab -Ammonite rage -Shocks from cnidaria and electrophorus Agile flippers: Archelon’s nimble yet large flippers allow it good precise movement; while sprinting, archelon’s turn radius is much smaller, and its left click attack deals 1.2x damage. Protective instinct: When encountering a threat, archelon will instinctively fight back, especially if to protect allies. As such, if there are allied creatures not smaller than megalodon, archelon receives 25% damage bonus and 15% additional damage resistance. Invertebrate reaper: Archelon is well adapted to consuming various invertebrate creatures, dealing 2.5x damage to tusoteuthis, ammonite and cnidaria, has a 5x harvest multiplier and 75% weight reduction on ammonite bile and bio toxin, and also extends the spoil timer of those items by 15 times. I hope you could like this creature and leave a vote for it ! Thank you very much!
  2. Name: Japanese sea lion Species: Zalophus japonicus Time: 1970’s Diet: Carnivore/Piscivore Temperament: Friendly, Playful Sea lions are known by their exterior ear flaps, their long fore flippers, and a big chest and belly. They have a thick layer of short fur that covers a thick layer of blubber which keeps them warm in the sea. Wild: You will be able to spot these aquatic mammals spending there day relaxing on the ark’s beaches/coasts or swimming through the sea hunting for their desired food, they these versatile hunters can be found hunting alone or in packs, they are able to catch fish and other small marine creatures at ease. They are very playful social animals you may even see them playing with each other, you might even spot them swimming and playing with the dolphins. I have heard from other tribes that they are so friendly that they would even swim right up and try to befriend you. I also heard stories about how these creatures have been spotted saving those at sea. These sealions have adapted to be agile, not only are they able to navigate the sea at great speed just like the Ichthyosaurus, but they too can move decently on land also. Domesticated: Once you have tamed one, they become a valuable companion, there swimming abilities make them an excellent water exploration mount. They seem to be able to sense when people are in danger and are quick to notify and aid those in need. over time they create oil just like the basilo/tuso. Abilities and features these are just some of the idea’s I had imagined for some features of Zalophus. Lifeguard: this would be a sense allowing them to detect when a survivor is in low in oxygen and in danger. Breath of fresh air: Zalophus can blow bubbles which will replenish survivor’s oxygen, giving them that extra time to make it to the surface. Air/healing bubbles: a separate ability when they spin/splash about in the sea creating air bubbles with a range around Zalophus, these air bubbles could act providing air to multiple survivors/tames for a period of time within the bubble range, it could also have a healing affect within that range and only for this ability. Insulation: Since their body is made up of thick blubber with an added layer of short fur to keep them warm, I think they should be able to provide a insulation to keep survivors warmer in the cold sea Shock resistant: since they have thick blubber it could make them resistant to the shocks of eels and jellyfish. Oil supply: naturally generates oil after a period of time. agile swimmers: are incredibly fast and can navigate the sea very well. pack boost: with other sealions/Ichthyosaurus. Perform: They are able to preform a clapping animation that gives passive xp to nearby dinosaurs. Behavior: The sea lions are not aggressive until they are attacked, they are super friendly and will even approach survivors. If attacked, they can fight back by biting or with a fin/tail thump. Drops: Raw Meat Raw Prime Meat Oil Blubber Taming: Since they are so friendly and playful One must first toss them a fish to feed them and start the taming process, afterwards you must swim alongside them (either freely alongside them or mounted kind of like the Equus/diplocaulus but maybe with one had around them swimming with them) and repeat the process, until you have tamed your very own sealion. 3. New bonus infos from me for this creature: It can be used as an exoskeleton in the water as well as on land, you can use several weapons or farming tools with it (like in the follow video at the end from the post). But not only that, you can also use it to climbe 90-degree walls or swing through gorges. But always check if it's wet!!! Back to farming with him, since you can farm and more ever before. Of course you can also carry more, because an exoskeleton helps you a lot to carry things!!! In the water as well as on land he can shoot ink. In the water he blinds all pursuers and they cannot see anything. On land. the opponents he sprays are glued to the ground for some time. I finde a old post from the Fjördur creature submission from MoGuZ and would post it here Wild: This creature comes from an Ark that at some point for unknown reasons exploded launching fragments in the form of comets into the different biomes in a kind of panspermia (the theory that very small organisms or chemicals that begin life can be found everywhere in the universe and that they made life on earth begin) from these remains evolved the Nectocaris Pteryx an extremely intelligent cephalopod that uses other less developed organisms to survive and be able to get out of the water using its most special ability "Elemental Symbiosis" normally lives in the deepest darkness of the ocean, it is lonely, extremely cunning and almost invisible thanks to its optical camouflage. How to tame? He is passive, if you can see him first, if he sees you he will use his camouflage and walk away leaving a small luminous trail that soon disappears, the problem is that he loves to call (pheromones) his older relatives (Tusoteuthis) to help him, eat Black pearl soup in large quantity so go well prepared. Tamed: As it completely needs its wearer to survive it will do whatever it takes to protect it, it will become an extension of its user and will grant it the same abilities that it took so long to evolve. It's a friendship for (Symbiosis) everyone wins. Abilities: Body Grip: They take their user by the back, arms and legs, turning their tentacles into an extension with up to 8 times more force than a human. Elemental Symbiosis: It feeds on the health, oxygen and water of the user to the point of leaving him unconscious. This is how Nectocaris survives. Elemental Camouflage: It uses the user's fluids and its own to generate a biscous substance that covers them completely, makes them invisible for short periods of time at a high cost of health and vital fluids, also considerably lowers the aggressiveness of nearby animals. Turbine Propulsion: It uses its 4 turbines to move underwater at high speeds, if it does not have more oxygen it consumes the diving tank or the air from the user's lungs. Bioluminescence: In the dark it glows with soft light in color of its pigmentation (it is only light, it does not work to remove nameless) Extra Lung: Oxygen can be stored inside the Nectocaris, but with the turbines off. Tools use : There is not much to say, he is very skilled, he can use almost anything to troubleshoot, scale, cut, launch, whip and much more. Reproduction: The NECTOCARIS are all hemaphrodites, so you only need water, love and care. Their young are first gelatinous eggs and then small cephalopods that are very fragile indeed.
  4. Zygophyseter: New the crafting skill of 100%!!! We get a creature for the land part and we get one for the air, what ist missing? Yes the sea, so we need a creature for the sea Discriptionof Zygophyseter from Wikipedia: Zygophyseter varolai is an extinct sperm whale that lived during the Tortonian age of the Late Miocene 11.2 to 7.6 million years ago. It is known from a single specimen from the Pietra Leccese Formation in Italy. It was a member of a stem group of fossil macroraptorial sperm whales (often shortened to "raptorial") also including Brygmophyseter, Acrophyseter, and Livyatan. It probably grew to be around 6.5 to 7 meters (21 to 23 ft) in length and shared some characteristics with other raptorials, such as large teeth with tooth enamel that were functional in both the upper and lower jaws which the modern sperm whale (Physeter macrocephalus) lacks. It also had a beak, the ability to echolocate prey, and could have probably swum faster than the modern-day sperm whale which can reach 4 kilometers per hour (2.5 mph). These were probably used in the capture of large prey, such as large fish, seals, and whales. In fact, its common name, the killer sperm whale, refers to its feeding habits that would have had a resemblance to the modern-day killer whale (Orcinus orca). Taming: He swim in a pack with babys, you must tame the baby of the group. You put Basilo Blubber of the "0" in the inventory and feed the baby the Blubber. The archaeologists have find new discoveries about the Zygophyseter: He is the the killer whale of the old times, his passive is predator of the sea: If he swims around in 3 groups, other water animals dont attack him except Tuso and Mosa. And he make 1,5x more damage vs a Tuso. His other passive is intilligent predator: If he eats jellyfish or eels he can make shocking bite attacks on others, but he is immune to it. Sea view: his rider sees everything clear and bright in the deap sea. left klick: bite with passive (intilligent predator) right klick: headbutt -> he can make his opponent drowsi x- klick: flippers blow -> beats with his fin and can hit rider down c- klick: call buffs Call buffs: you have many call buffs with the Zygo and can swap the calls with the R like the new Tek-bow. But every call have a cooldown. And you can call only one buff. echo sounder: can uncover all livings being like the Para, you can also see how far away the animal or person is. heal call: can only be used with Zygo groups, you can heal all group member. damage call: all buffed animal get a damage buff. attackspeed call: all buffed animal get a attackspeed buff. tank call: all buffed animal get a tank buff, he get a fewer damage from opponents. slow call: all debuffed opponents are slower down. confusion call: all debuffed opponents are confused and swim awy. Their saddle is similar to the Roll Rat saddle, where the dome-shield is furled up until the player mounts Enhydriodon. Then, it unfolds and completely encases the player, protecting it from firearms, creatures that dismount the player (Cnidaria, Microraptor, Kaprosuchus, etc.) Underwater, the dome makes it so that the player will not lose oxygen while mounted, but will not replenish oxygen should the player dismount underwater, similar to the Andrewsarchus minigun saddle. His smart aura gives you (when you are in the water with him) 100% crafting skill efficiency, for a certain time!!! He is stronger in a pack, he needs his family and they can kill everyone together in the sea! Size: He can farm white and black perl, crystal and obsidian with his good denture For many Ideas feel free and write your ideas under the post I hope you like this creature and vote him up for the better sea in ARK
  5. This creature will be a very fast sea creature, It's its a passive tame, requiring bio toxin to tame, you will have to distract it with a tame and hop on it's back and tame it like an equis. You will ride a compartment on it's back at the base of its neck, it can change color's to match the terain, this allow's it to sneak up on small to medium creatures. it can eat jellyfish without getting stunned!! It's saddle will have a bone helmet to protect it. It will have a speed attack, allowing it to shoot through the water and deal damage!! It's bite slows and poisons creatures, it can use it's front fin's to knock creatures back, but it has a short cooldown. It will provides some thermal insulation when in cold water. The males are larger than the females, but the females are faster than the males!! Drops 1. hide 2. Raw meat 3. keratin 4. bio toxin Gather's 1. meat of any sort 2. chitin/keratin 3. biotoxin 4. underwater oil nodes I hope you like this suggestion, if you have any tip's please let me know!
  6. abilities: m1 bleed effect, m2 charged bite attack that builds more damage the longer it's held (with a pack of 4 max.) You gain 15% bonus damage reduction, speed, and attack boost. While holding shift, you can leap out of the water to gain a huge amount of distance. To be tamed, you would have to ride on its back for a certain amount of time. It'll eat out of your hot bar but will not gain taming effectiveness; it'll prevent it from eating you (they spawn in packs, so beware if you're solo). To breed, they'd act like your average dino on land; they just lay their eggs in the sand like modern-day sea turtles. That's all. Please vote for Dakosaurus if you find it cool for the center. ❤️😄
  7. Ark has a lot of creatures, but how many aquatic mammals do we have? Next to none. That's why I submit the Sea Cow. While it can be found on land, it mostly resides off the coast of the Center's snowy areas. Provide it insulating blubber to make it tanky and provide insulation from the cold. While it can go on land, it becomes slow, but why take it on land you wonder? I think, since some of ark's creatures have gone for more extreme saddles and abilities, give it some sort of cannon to mount onto the saddle, capable of being used on land and in water. My first thoughts were to give it some sort of arrow gattling gun, but then I had an idea. Make it an electric cannon, powered by bio toxin, whch in my opinion needs more uses in this game, cause every time I go to tame something, I will use tranq darts because they are cheaper and don't spoil. It will most definitely be faster in the water as well, the saddle providing the rider with oxygen. With the Andrewsarchus providing ark with a land based tank, and the Rhino essentially being a fighter copter, providing the Center with a sea based tank would be an amazing idea. Common Name: Sea Cow Species: Hydrodamalis gigas Time: Pleistocene Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Defensive Domesticated While slow on land, the Sea Cow is faster in the water, letting it easily contend with some of the bigger ocean mounts, but the most unique feature is its ability to be immune from most creature inflictions. This makes it a perfect creature to harvest Bio Toxin, or at least without being shocked by the Jellyfish. To accommodate for its slowness, however, survivors have gone through advanced methods to attach an electric tesla cannon to the saddle, along with air tanks to assist with Spelunking. With the skill of harvesting bio toxin, survivors have used it as the primary source of ammunition of this cannon. This cannon can primarily be used to stun creatures for a short time, both in and out of the water. From what I’ve heard, this creature is a definite favorite for the two Ice Caves on the center Wild Native to the colder coast of the island, the Sea Cow is a territorial beast, known for lazily resting on both the beach and the shallow water. While it will defend itself from smaller threats, if it encounters something bigger than it, the Sea Cow will flee at a slow pace. Depending on where it is damaged by larger foes, it will try to escape to the opposite territory. It’s thick blubber helps with some of these situations, preventing it from bleeding or being caught on fire. Something survivors have come accustomed to is to run towards the Sea Cow, since it provides insulation, similar to a Basilosaurus. As long as they don’t attack it, it is quite a peaceful creature. Please note I intended to do a dossier, but I couldn't upload it. Do excuse this sloppyness
  8. The Submarin Saddle!! It is supposed to be a walk in saddle, a indoor submarine saddle as a little base an armory. the biggest saddle ever in the ARK history!! And he have also a periscope in it!! the ideas from ThatWAFFLEGuy49 My suggestion for the saddle is, as explained above, a metal saddle that encloses the riders (which can hold a similar number of players to a diplo) and provides them with oxygen, allows for missiles to be fired out of the top and into the air to hit targets on land that are targeted via an aiming system that uses the RTS system to click where the missile (which would Rocket Propelled Grenades for normal ammo or Rocket Homing Missiles if the rider just wants to set the target and forget it for continuous firing on that one particular spot). It could also have a second saddle which would be cheaper to create, but wouldn't provide oxygen to riders and would resemble a simple wooden ship on the back of the Livyatan with cannons along the sides for whale defense (just as Davy Jones intended). It would also gain a defensive buff if it is fed a Megacheleon shell fragment, an speed buff if fed a megalodon tooth, or can be enraged into an attack buff if fed a tuso tentacle. My personal suggestion for taming a Livyatan is to use harpoon guns and tranq spear bolts to lower the "rage" meter while it's trying to run away, then feeding by hand once it's been soothed (via similar minigame to the Equus, where the survivor holds onto one of its fins while it's thrashing about until it can be fed to increase the taming percentage), then working together with it to either kill whatever prey it is currently hunting (like an Amargasaurus, but easier, as there will be a prompt revealing what the Livyatan is craving at that moment) or, if you're lucky enough to have the organs it wants specifically (Megacheleon shell fragments, megalodon teeth, or Tuso tentacles) on hand, you can feed it the organs by hand for a little bit of an increased taming speed instead of hunting down the prey and killing it. Knocking it out results in the Livyatan drowning, as it still has to breach the surface at some point to refill its lungs, although it can hold its breath for an incredibly long amount of time. or a other saddle idea: Rainboy from the Fjördur Submission!! so it will be similar to the astrocetus but underwater, and its saddle will be basicly the top of a submarine. and instead of manned turret it has homing or normal torpedo(kinda like the rocker launcher ammo where it has homing and non homing.) and instead of the bombing ability it will have cruise missile. by using this ability to either will use it like the cruise missile we have in the game rn( you have to control it yourself) or it you can set a location for it to hit. and player will not drain oxygen when riding it. to balance it out. to use the cruise missiles. every shot will cost tuso tenticle(s). (similar to how magamasaur need metal ingot and astrocetus needs ambergris. ) and it is weak to mosasaurus and is very slow. and then saddle will have a enclosed prebuild room that is water free. kinda like a mixture between a platform saddle and a underwater vacuum compartment. where it will just be a empty room and you can build in it. The Submarin Saddle!! It is supposed to be a walk in saddle, a indoor submarine saddle as a little base an armory. the biggest saddle ever in the ARK history!! And he have also a periscope in it!! KapitanKibiro02 ideas from the Fjördur Submission!! Wild: This Beast is quite slow and lumbering at first, simply swimming about rather absentmindedly all throughout the sea. Seemingly aware of it's status as "The Biggest and Baddest thing in any body of water", until either a starving Mosa or Gutsy Tuso provokes it. Then it quickly goes on the offensive. Also like it's more modern relative the "Sperm Whale" it has incredibly versatile and effective Sonar Capabilities, however due to Livyatan's massive size and almost frighteningly somehow higher intelligence, it appears to have been able to weaponize it's Sonar Capabilities, giving it a highly stunning projectile, to smaller creatures (like say, a survivor looking to tame it) this may deal severe, lethal damage. But to something as big as a Mosasaur it's much more effective as a stun option, allowing Livyatan all the time in the world to swim up to it's newfound prey and bite a massive chunk out of it.Tamed: Despite it reacting to most land creatures with more curiosity than aggression, Livyatan's ability to kill a Survivor without even needing to touch it means it's safe to say that taming a creature this absolutely massive and powerful is no easy task. However once tamed this becomes an incredibly reliable companion and mobile fortress. It's Saddle being able to be built upon whilst also allowing submersive capabilities. I've seen warring tribes pit Livyatan against each other in an "epic sea battle" for rich underwater resources. Also as a way to easily destroy enemy ocean platforms, Livyatan is able to use a very very short quick burst of speed and use it's massive head as a battering ram. needless to say, if I were a pirate or someone who lived for the open seas, you could do absolutely no better than this Lethal Leviathan. In all seriousness having a creature that's meant to be like an actual massive slow ship that kinda goes at it's own momentum. Instead of just "an underwater rex" like the majority of what's in the ocean feels like. there's no variety in the oceans except for the Tuso because it has unique attacks and abilities and the Megachelon because you can permanently breath and build a base on it's back, but there's not enough space or build limit to make it into a proper "Armored Sub" and not to mention it's attacks are pathetic. having the Livyatan fill the role of a fusion of a Nuclear Sub and a Gangplank Galleon or something, as well as just naturally having good stats would completely revitalize Ocean Combat and make it much more diverse and fun for a lot of players, and would also double as a way to actively (and fairly) attack players on Ocean Platforms as well. IskOsc ideas from the Fjördur Submission!! "Wild: Livyatan Oceanusrex is the largest and most powerful aquatic animal I've ever seen on the ARK, even slightly beating the leedsichthys in sheer size and power! Because of this, they're the absolute top predator in the ocean, hunting everything from plesiosaurs to mosasaurs to even tusotuthis, which happens to be their favorite food! There's a reason they're called the King of The Ocean! Like any whale, these creatures have echolocation abilities, however livyatans use their extremely loud sounds not only as a way to navigate and communicate, but also as a stunning and deafening area attack, which it primarily uses to stop incomming attacks and creatures attempting to flee, so escaping it won't work either! Domesticated: Although tough to do, it is indeed possible to gain the trust of a livyatan. If you do manage to, then you have one of the strongest mounts possible! Not only is it strong, but it can use its echolocation as both a way to scan the area for nearby hostiles and as a supersonic attack, stunning and weakening creatures nearby. Being the natural predator of the tusotuthis, it's evolved to do especially well against them, killing them easier than almost any other creature." General description: As mentioned in the dossier, the livyatan is the new strongest water creature in ark, being strong enough to take down anything in its path in a fair 1v1. It's basically the giga of the ocean, having the same spawn rate and stuff, perhaps having a bit lower stats but making up for it with more stamina and its echolocation, which it uses both like a parasaur does and as a sonic blast that stuns, deals damage to and weakens nearby creatures. Being the king of the ocean, it will attack absolutely anything that's not either smaller than a basilosaurus or an alpha named alpha tusotuthis. Yes, they will fight and stand their ground, even sometimes killing wild alpha tusotuthis. Abilities: lmb: Bite - A basic bite, its main way to kill. rmb: Sonic Blast - The livyatan lets out a huge sound blast, stunning any enemy creatures as well as dealing damage and increasing the amount of damage they take for a short while. c; Sonar - Like the parasaurs. Turret Mode: The same as the parasaur. You can change it to other tribes/attacking creatures only, and in doing so will also change the manual sonar to do the same. Passive: Squid hunter - Livyatan deals more damage to tusotuthis and their alpha variant, as well as taking reduced damage from them and being unable to be blinded by their ink. 9. 10. I found a interestin old Fjördur Creature submission from JazHRate and would post it here Sculda Syriaca Common name: Sculda Time: Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Territorial Skills: 1.-Punch: Sculda Sculda releases a powerful punch capable of breaking structures , reaching to damage metal structures, also his powerful punch breaks any natural armor of creatures, such as the projectile strength of the stegosaurus, or any other type of defense, this effect of breaking armor will last 120 seconds, additionally his club-shaped arms are capable of causing much unconsciousness and less damage, special to knock out creatures. 2 .-Anti-Regenerant: Sculda produces a saliva that can launch as the dilophosaurus but at higher speed, which is able to prevent the regeneration of health, even if it tries to regenerate with some consumable or ability, this substance also affects the regeneration of energy, another quality is to achieve maintain the maintain unconsciousness, this helps the taming of wild creatures, but once asleep the effect will be canceled and the creature will lower unconsciousness normally, the duration of this effect is 165 seconds. 3.-Electroreseptor: Sculda is capable of producing a discharge, although somewhat mild powerful, this serves him to detect power generators, but this discharge although not capable of damage, is capable of affecting nerves, this mild discharge makes any creature of grip, desaferre his victim, from the legs of a argentavis, to the tentacles of a tuso, megalosaurus jaw and beam of a tek ship, this even activates automatically when it detects that its rider is dismounted, or that Sculda is trapped, this ability can be used to save allies as well as to save itself, the generators when using the ability are visible for a few moments. Mobility: Sculda naturally is a sea creature, it can come to the surface at times, its legs help it to walk on the sea floor as on land, but the time it is out of water is determined by its oxygen, this time can vary a strong wild Sculda is able to be out of water for more than 3 hours at a time out of water, its legs are fast in the water, it can swim freely throughout the sea, but can walk on sea floors, when walking it can climb underwater on sloping surfaces, but it can also do it on land, despite not having the best of speeds, it is able to match the Equus, and just like in the sea, it is able to climb on different surfaces. In-game role: After a difficult taming process Sculda will be of great help to us, it allows us to save allies and ourselves with an electric pulse, which is even able to detect generators makes survivors use it for attacks against other bases, even essential against metal bases, although its knockout fists are used for taming, even for the levels of unconsciousness it is able to induce, it is able to knock out enemy siege creatures, but for defenses also shines, it can break the natural defense of animals momentarily, moment where the impacts of bullets and bites will affect as any creature without defenseless, also its saliva is able to hinder the attack by preventing regeneration, but despite its virtues is important not to forget that it is a sea creature, so we will not have to forget to take it for a dip from time to time. Domestication: Sculda is found in funds glowing a bioluminescence when in the dark, while this in the background we will have to find a group of them, which must consist with minimum, a male and 3 females, although their groups are usually more numerous, when we locate a group we will have to incite their mating this is achieved by consuming rare flowers, when we consume a flower the battle will begin, because while these creatures are mating they are more vulnerable, besides attracting predators with the hormones they expel, at that moment we will have to defend the Rapax in waves of marine carnivores, the waves depend on the members of the group of Sculdas, once finished the females will lay eggs that may not be fertilized, but in the best case they will be, but all attempts will be rewarded with a strong and fast creature, and once we have a couple of domesticated Sculdas, we will have to take them to deep sea where they can mate, the waves will have a random difficulty but tame eggs will always be fertile, Sculda offspring must be raised to full adulthood in the water, they will eat fish meat, as it is softer, but once adulthood can eat any meat. Domestication Tips: In order to get a Sculda without danger it is essential to bring a wetsuit, as well as a strong creature, it is recommended to go with several survivors, for the Sculda hatchlings to be strong only one high level male is needed, since the level of the hatchlings depends only on the male, in case there is more than one male in the group, In case there are more than one male in the group, we must eliminate the other male of lower level, the creatures of waves will not be tameable, the waves can have alpha creatures, and at the moment of taming it is important not to kill any of the Sculda by accident, for a better chance of having fertile Sculda eggs you can use the Liopleurodon's fortune effect. Information: Sculda is a creature which inhabits the seabed where if the light allows it makes it shine bioluminescent colors along its body, where large marine predators are also found, but occasionally they can be found on the shores alone, it is territorial in temperament, and like its living relative the mantis shrimp, any creature that approaches it, The development of the ability to perceive electric motors, derived from encounters with human settlements, which became one of its biggest rivals, developing detection to avoid confrontations, in addition to the defense against the grip of thusotheutis, its liquid shot is a fluid full of bacteria and viruses, which deteriorate the health and energy of the affected, as well as its ability to annul numbing toxins, this added to its ability to sleep, makes even domesticated creatures fall asleep, causing much unconsciousness and preventing them from being able to annul the dream, added to not being able to flee by the wear of energy, These abilities make Sculda an unusual and cruel hunter, since he eliminates his creatures while they are asleep, although the fossil record shows a creature not so different from the current one, we can see a great difference from the one existing in the ark, this shows us how hard the environment in the ark can be.
  11. Welcome to my submission for the Ark The center vote, and in this post i will show you what i had in mind for the Natovenator. In real life: In real life these creatures were quite smaller than what i wanted for ark and they lived fishing in the sea, this species is not a known species so i wanted to represent it here because....it catched my attention and i think the abilities i thought to him are cool. Dossier: Common name: natovenator Species: natovenator peritissimus Diet: carnivorous Temperament: territorial Wild: In the wild the natovenator peritissimus lives alone or in couples, it can be seen hunting fish or small animals in the sea or in rivers, this creature is extremly territorial with survivors or other creatures who try to pass in it's territory, that are normaly beaches or caves with big nests, one admirable behaviour on this species is the dance, it mares this dance as sign if it whill not let you aproach or if you can pass, legends say that survivors tamed those creatures this way, bad face or shaking tail don't move, strange laugh or clapping hands you can pass, a lovely behaviour on this species is that when trying to impress a female it will give gifts hug and kiss, but don't let the lovely acts fool your self, because this creature has the psycopathic behaviour of just diving in the air and catching small creatures and then doping them. Tamed: Only Lucky or strong survivors succeded in taming this magnificent beast, some say that only understanding the significa and then feeding fish will make the creature docile, but others prefered rubbing the egg, putting their lives at risk, after taming them they can flat like a boat, climb, glide and dive really fast in the air or in the wather. Abilities and controls: 1) The natovenator has a boost of 20%of damage in aquatic creatures. 2) When pressing C it activates the peck abilitie that does 40%more damage but only works for a few seconds and it has a cooldown. 3) As a flyer it can carry things with its beak like a small animal or an item, so you can drop bombs while gliding, but you know how to do that. 4) By pressing CNTRL you can activate, the one, the only, DIVE!!! An abilitie that makes you really fast while gliding and if you colide in the ground you don't take damage, and if you do that on a creature if it isn't dead it's because it's really strong, and to get things even better it can be used underwhater but just a bit slower. 5) By pressing y on a creature while gliding it applies a bleeding effect to kill the creature(remembering that it can only do that with samll creatures). 6) If you can't escape a fight just find a climbable place to start gliding and then press CNTRL and C to activate an escape energy to run away. Design and the end: The natovenator is a bit larger than a raptor on ark, and it's arm feathers are long and it has the colors of the dwarf oriental kingfisher in the same order, just adding tiny yellow balls to it's wings and tail, and the female looks like the one from the picture i showed on the beggining, and on it's tail and head it has a crest made from feathers just like the ones in the raptor or in the rockdrake. Well, that's the end i hope you liked my idea, and if you have any questions you can ask me, so thank you, and that is the end.

  13. i find a nice submission from the Fjördur vote from PuutyCuuty and will post it her again Species: Hippocampus Sarmaticus/Leviathan Time: Middle Miocene Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive I feel Ark's oceans need a bit of love. What better way than with a new mount. Seahorses are pretty cool looking as well as sea dragons, and who wouldn't want to ride around on one. A saddled mount of course They're like master ninjas, so this mount could have some sort of camo ability, maybe when they're within underwater vegetation. They could function similar to an underwater purlovia, and their first strike from being hidden could cause massive burst damage. Kinda like sneak damage. Because of this sneakyness, make all wild creatures non aggressive to it unless provoked. This includes the jellies. In fact, let's make this creature immune to jellies shock to have another mount to fight against them. Maybe even have cnidaria actively run away from them like the piranha does to the sarco. These could be the best biotoxin gatherers. (A sea slug pic, but the patterns and appendages look cool, and I invision this ark creature taking visual cues from it) Seahorses also are very tanky with their bone like ridges down their body. Instead of their body and tails being cylindrical, they're more square, thus able to take more damage and even be compressed and be able to bounce back unharmed. This means the ark creature could make for a very tanky mount with possibly even recoil damage. Add a good saddle for even more tanking. Seahorses also have great mobility, so it can control similar to an underwater Tapejara. This is a very interesting video below about Seahorses. Utility is a big thing the ocean needs too. With the males pouch, it could function as an underwater maewing, able to nurse or improve imprints. Maybe a player can use its pouch to be transported underwater and give oxygen. Again, immunity to jelly stings. They have these cool prehensile tails too. They can use this to latch onto different things underwater to stay put, and enter a sort of turret mode. We can use these prehensile tails to grab small to some medium sized creatures, which has a multitude of uses, but also make it able to pick players underwater from their mounts. To balance this, make it ridden only or something. These tails could have another purpose too. There aren't any underwater shoulder pets. Until they're grown, while they're still a baby/adolescent, they can use the tail to become a shoulder mount. Adding stun immunity or reduction, or adding armor and recoil damage to the player while assisting in battle with their attack/breath. The balance to this would be that it's temporary, until the baby reaches a certain size, then it auto dismounts. Killing cnidaria could make it grow faster, or feeding it biotoxin. It would speed up raising. You could ignore this mechanic to keep it smaller for longer to keep the shoulder benefits, because it's raise time could be long without using it. With all these positives, maybe give the creature lower stamina, or make it opposite of the bear. Super fast burst speed that eventually slows down. Same with dps. Stupid high burst speed dps, that slows a lot over time. The way I imagine it looking is some kind of Seahorse/Seadragon hybrid with some draconian features. This is ark afterall, and some dinos aren't 100% real world accurate, so we can spice this up a bit. Another cool option would be some kind of underwater breath attack. Bubbles that stun or slow so they can assassinate prey, or superheated water jet, but I'd like for them to have some sort of poison breath. It would go with the assassin theme. This poison would accumulate in its inventory similar to acatina, maybe increasing production for a time with cnidaria kills stacking. We could coat our weapons or even dino claws with the poison to give special debuffs and inreased damage per hit for a time. This would benefit high attack speed dinos a lot like the raptor, giving more use for its faster attack buff from its alpha call.

  16. 17. You put Basilo Blubber of the "0" in the inventory and feed the baby the Blubber. oh i find my old post from the last vote: The archaeologists have find new discoveries about the Zygophyseter: He is the the killer whale of the old times, his passive is predator of the sea: If he swims around in 3 groups, other water animals dont attack him except Tuso and Mosa. Form many Ideas feel free and write your ideas under the post I hope you like this creature and vote him up for the better sea in ARK
  20. Tylosaurus (from the ancient Greek τύλος (tylos) 'protuberance, knob' + Greek σαῦρος (sauros) 'lizard') is a genus of mosasaur, a large, predatory marine reptile closely related to modern monitor lizards and to snakes, from the Late Cretaceous. Give some love to the sea.
  21. Zygophyseter: We get a creature for the land part and we get one for the air, what ist missing? You put Basilo Blubber of the "0" in the inventory and feed the baby the Blubber. oh i find my old post from the last vote: The archaeologists have find new discoveries about the Zygophyseter: He is the the killer whale of the old times, his passive is predator of the sea: If he swims around in 3 groups, other water animals dont attack him except Tuso and Mosa.
