  1. hi,I think I need to speak more about my Archelon, it is unique and different from the guy in ARK Additions,I try to make it useful and be a really good helper. In fact, I play the mod(ARK Additions:The collection) as well and use it for a long time, but, please allow me to talk about my opinion, the Archelon in the mod is not a good creature and my friends also agree with me. I make sure that my Archelon is not an alternate,it is really good and I hope you can understand me,thank you.
  2. Words from the Author: All images and the dossier in this submission are made by myself, and I spent a lot of time and energy on this creature in general, so I’d really appreciate it if you could leave a vote on it. When I heard that The Center was getting a creature vote, I wanted to give its vast oceans a friendly and unique creature, that still had the ability to help immensely in exploring the oceans. There aren’t many turtles in Ark, and archelon could certainly fill a ‘gentle giant’ role, so I chose it. I created a oceanic creature since the ocean is an important part of The Center, but I didn’t have a great experience with it. I hope that having this liopleurodon-sized turtle would be able to convenience the lives of everyone playing on The Center greatly. The mechanics of this creature are not complicated, even easy to use, and its taming is not too expensive or complicated. Sufficient combat ability and incredible movement ability allow archelon to deal with the various unpleasant neighbors you’ll find in the ocean, and its ability to collect bio toxin and ammonite bile effectively should help players with things like making shocking tranq darts. Archelon’s base movement speed is not much slower than an ichthy, and with its special saddle (the archelon submarine saddle) equipped, it becomes the single fastest creature in the ocean, and the rider’s pov is much clearer. And even against the powerful tusoteuthis, archelon can quite easily defeat it. Overall, I think this creature could absolutely become a useful companion for survivors exploring the underwater world. If you like what you’ve seen so far, feel free to keep reading for the detailed design. I’m sure you will find it unique and interesting, and thank you in advance for your support. Basic information: Name: Archelon Marinusnavis Period: Cretaceous Temperament: Friendly Diet: Carnivorous Size: around liopleurodon sized Drops: Large amounts of raw meat and hide, small amounts of raw prime meat and keratin Base Stats: Health: 1200, +240, +5.4% Stamina: 750, +75, +10% Oxygen: N/A, +0, +0% Food: 4000, +400, +10% Weight: 1000, +20, +4% Melee Damage: 100%/175%, +5%, +1.7% Movement speed: 100%, +0%, +2% Speed values(wild): 120,240(land)/600,1800(water) Speed values (tamed): 120,360(land)/600,2400(water) Torpor: N/A Other: cannot be ridden without a saddle, 410 drag weight, can enter boss arenas Habitat: Archelon can be found on the beaches and in the oceans of The Center. Dossier text-wild: To survivors, archelon is quite friendly, usually not attacking smaller creatures including humans. Their aggression is instead saved for their attackers and prey. Archelon’s keratinous beak is like a sharpened pair of shears, allowing them to mainly prey on slippery cnidaria and ammonites. Archelon’s shell is made of its ribs, leathery skin and keratin, making it quite light, but nowhere near as solid as carbonemys’ rock-hard shell. Though, the softer armor still has its benefits, mainly, resisting the crushing pressure of the deep ocean, allowing archelon, which mainly inhabits the shallows, to enter the depths in search of more jellies and ammonites. Taming: Archelon can be tamed starting at player level 57, with two methods available. Method 1: Find a wild adult archelon and passive feed it to tame. They are not aggressive and will happily become a loyal companion if satisfied in terms of food. To tame, archelon will accept foods such as superior kibble, ammonite bile, bio toxin and the various meats. The passive taming method is easy on the resources, not needing tranqs, which is why I chose it. Notably, it is much safer to feed an archelon on land, since you would not have to deal with the various dangers of the ocean. Method 2: Find a wild baby archelon and passive feed it to tame. Baby archelon’s will not eat ammonite bile or bio toxin, and will lose health if on land, but require much less food than an adult archelon, and allows for imprinting once tamed. Dossier text-tamed: The boat-like archelon is unbelievably helpful for any survivor. The agility these giant turtles possess is simply amazing, with their gigantic flippers serving as wonderful paddles, archelon is one of the fastest swimmers in the ark’s oceans that’s also able to carry large amounts of resources with their sheer bulk. In addition, they are adept at hunting cnidaria and other soft-bodied animals, and at getting as much from their prey as possible. There for, it would be smart to utilize archelon to safely and efficiently harvest resources such as bio toxin. Saddle Information: The archelon basic saddle is unlocked at level 57. It is a standard saddle with 25 armor that allows for rider weaponry that needs hide, fiber and metal ingots to craft. The archelon submarine saddle is unlocked at level 67, and needs hide, fiber, cementing paste and metal ingots to craft, costing more than the basic saddle. When equipped, it provides the rider with infinite oxygen and rider protection by way of a sealed off chamber and has 35 base armor. The saddle is also equipped with two high-powered lights to illuminate deep water, and two powerful propellers at the rear end, increasing the archelon’s speed significantly. However, the lights and propeller need gasoline to activate. The Archelon Marinusnavis and its submarine saddle. Breeding: Archelon can be bred, laying eggs. Archelon eggs can be used to make superior kibble. Archelon eggs must be hatched on land, but baby archelon must grow up in water until adulthood, as they rapidly lose health on land. Attacks: Left click: A basic bite. 45 base damage, collects large amounts of meat, bio toxin, ammonite bile and small amounts of hide. Archelon’s keratinous beak is very sharp, meaning their combat power is actually not much weaker than creatures of similar sizes. This ability alone allows archelon to defeat enemies such as the vicious megalodon or swarms of anglers and eels. Right click: Archelon slaps with its flippers. Costs 100 points of stamina, base 35 damage. If hitting a creature smaller than an ichthy, the creature is stunned for 10 seconds. If hitting a creature between ichthy and megalodon in size, the creature is stunned for 5 seconds. Archelon’s front flippers are extremely large and extremely useful, both in movement and combat. Stunning an enemy could allow more room for error or an opportunity to flee in combat, allowing archelon to get out of sticky situations much better. 😄 C:Archelon ingests 250 bio toxin or ammonite bile from its inventory and recovers 1500 health. This ability has a 20 seconds cooldown. Acquiring such ingests would not be difficult for survivors with an archelon, and this ability would especially give the underused ammonite bile a use in healing archelon with its favoroite foods. X: Activates the submarine saddle. Archelon gains a 75% speed increase and a slightly larger turn radius. As stated before, this ability needs gasoline to activate. The advanced saddle makes the experience of using archelon even more enjoyable, specifically with more speed thanks to this mechanic in order to better explore the oceans. Spacebar: Rapidly ascend upwards in water. This ability gives archelon’s mobility a general boost, and allows the survivor to quickly get the fresh air at the surface if needed. Passive abilities: Leathery shell: Archelon’s leathery shell can protect against damage to a certain degree. Archelon has innate 25% damage resistance, and is immune to: -Tuso ink and grab -Ammonite rage -Shocks from cnidaria and electrophorus Agile flippers: Archelon’s nimble yet large flippers allow it good precise movement; while sprinting, archelon’s turn radius is much smaller, and its left click attack deals 1.2x damage. Protective instinct: When encountering a threat, archelon will instinctively fight back, especially if to protect allies. As such, if there are allied creatures not smaller than megalodon, archelon receives 25% damage bonus and 15% additional damage resistance. Invertebrate reaper: Archelon is well adapted to consuming various invertebrate creatures, dealing 2.5x damage to tusoteuthis, ammonite and cnidaria, has a 5x harvest multiplier and 75% weight reduction on ammonite bile and bio toxin, and also extends the spoil timer of those items by 15 times. I hope you could like this creature and leave a vote for it ! Thank you very much!
