Ark submission by Tdinoner616 Species: Drakosuchus Rex Period: N/A Diet: Omnivore Temperament: Territorial wild The Drakosuchus Rex is a species truly like nonother on the island and deserving of its name meaning "Dragon crocodile king". This species are massive apex predators that will eat anything they come across in there territory's even gigas aren't truly safe from these guys. The Drakosuchus use their extremally powerful jaws, sharp claws, horns, and powerful tail. They also can eat plants, eggs, and pretty much anything in its environment, this makes it have a similar life still the bears. Tamed The Drakosuchus when tamed is a fiercely loyal mount willing to give their own lives for their masters. The Drakosuchus also have a unlikely ability (for a croc anyway) their incredibly sense of smell. They can smell anything from animals, berries, and even ore in a large radius. Like their crocodilian cousins are fast swimmers rivaling spinos for apex semi aquatic yet on land they are still fast but in the water even faster. This combo of ability's makes them a incredibly powerful tame and will make you a feared and respected tamer on the island. (ALL EXPLAINED) (EXTINCT) The Dracorex is an uncommon creature, that is a mixture between many species of the Ark. It loves collecting rocks, gems and some other kinds of minerals. This creature is very territorial, I highly recommend not crosssing it's limits or you'll be in for a pretty difficult time. Having this creature by your side will greatly benefit you and your allies. It may lose trust if it doesn't get enough attention. TAMING: To gain this creatures' trust you'll have to bring beautiful rocks (in this case gems) and offer them to it. The better the gem, the more taming effectiveness you'll get. The best gems to give it are in this order: 1)Red gem 2)Blue gem 3)Green gem.( I suggest getting the red one as it's the best for taming.) ABILITIES: This creature is very capable of protecting itself alone but it has unique feature! When it devours or breaks a gem it harnesses the mineral consumed and it changes the Draco's attributes. ( If you have tamed the dracorex , you can put a gem on it's inventory so it can devour it or destroy it and get the effects of said gem (keep in mind the gems' different abilities cannot be mixed nor stacked). ABILITY 1: The Dracorex has a bite that causes a bleeding status effect during a small amount of time without reducing the other dino's speed (just draining the dino's health and causing damage overtime). ABILITY 2: The Dracorex dashes torwards it's opponent taking aid of it's wing like protrusions (They're not actual wings, sort of extended scales that make it's arms swifter) and uses it's talon like claws to latch on the back of a dino (during a small amount of time ofc, it can also attack while being attached), furthermore, it causes a speed reduction that affects mainly flyers, if affected while flying it will make it land but it won't be as effective with terrestrial dinos.There's a cooldown between the dashes. After a few seconds it'll be kicked from the dino it was attached to and lose a bit of it's stamina. ABILITY 3 (GREEN GEM): When it consumes a green gem, it increases health, adds a regeneration boost and a poison attachment to it's horns and spiky protruding osteoderms that can cause the poison status effect to enemies while/during a short period of time.This poison can affect multiple creatures at once.There is a green aura around the Draco that shows when the poison is active. ABILITY 3 (BLUE GEM): When it consumes a blue gem, it aquires resiatance against stuns and a stamina-draining effect when dealing with other dinos. When it attacks other dinos, the damaged dinos will lose stamina faster than usual and nearby allies will recharge stamina faster. The Dracorex can hit ally dinos while being in this effect to create a status where the dino gets a stun reduction for a few seconds. When it loses more than 75% of it's stamina while being affected by the blue gems' properties, it will lose 10% of it's health points to make the enemy creature or tribe be aware anytime of the Dracorexs stamina. It also gains a speed boost on all terrain.There's a blue aura around The Dracorex while said gem is active. ABILITY 3 (RED GEM): When it consumes a red gem, it gains a small amount of health from other dinos, so whenever it hits a dino it recovers an amount of the damage it has done. It also can enter into a frenzy-like status that increases it's damage but decreases it's mobility by a small percentage. Enemy dinos won't be able to heal as fast after being hit by the Dracorex while being in this status. After the red gem status ends the dracorex will lose control for a few seconds, be very cautious.There will be a red aura around it that shows when the red gem effect is active. PASSIVE: It can hit attackers directly if aimed correctly when attacking a dino. Farms more gems than usual. Poison affects 50% less to: (shadowmane poison,basilisk...) EXPLANATION: Dracorex isn't able to mix different gem powers at the same time. Once one effect is applied it won't dissapear until a determined amount of time has passed and whenever it finishes, a cooldown will be applied before it can use the abilities of other gem.The mineral extraction is similar to the one insects do but this dino has got to adapt into the environment because of evolution through time. DRAWBACKS: it cannot fly but can lift itself from the ground for a decent amount of height (A feather fall/jump almost) with its large scale flaps, If the Dracorex isn't offered enough gems it'll start being less interested in it's owner as time goes by, it's a tiny bit smaller than griffins C63R17 WINGS SIMILAR TO BAT ONES ( because of the mutations all over time and adaptations to the enviroment) Evolution theory NEAR RELATIVE

Tought we have the purlovia wich is inspired by racoon well look more like ancestor of raccons the giant racoon is bigger and stronger at the difference that he don't go into the ground. So, I propose to make a racoons but maybe instead of a little one like the image above make a giant that will be rideable this would be the only thing I would change about it. The giant racoon will be very good to travel trought the world fast or to transport stuff due to is high weight, but you can also use it for combat. So here is the ability: Creatue: Giant Racoon (I take suggestion for other name) Species: Procyon Lotor Time: unknown Diet: omnivore (prefer berry) Temperament: passive Passive abilities: Steal (when on the Racoon you can open the hive and beaver dam to take the thing in it without been seen) Stealth (when you are on the dino and the dino himself has the same ability has the guillie suit to hide from other dinos) Carrier (Weight is reduce by 25% in is inventory) Ability 1: night vision (since racoon can see in the dark you can activate a night vision that will allow you to see 40% brighter than usual, only at night) Ability 2: Climbing (You can activate the climbing mode wigh allow him to climb tree and wall as the same as thylacoleo) Rideable: Yes (need saddle) My idea for the saddle is that it can have two bag with 10 emplacement one on both side that will not count on the weight off the racoon Breadable: Yes Taming: You give him food in is inventory in is inventory nd he will go to the nearby water source to clean is food like racoon does in reel life sometime I take suggestions if you have idea, thank you all.

Man's best friend. The Amphicyon is a canid from Early Miocene period. Standing 6ft high and weighing 400 pounds, this isn't a dog to mess with. Although they are passive creatures, you don't want to anger them. This well, muscled beast has incredibly strong legs. Which can stun and knockout players in one swipe. With a powerful neck and sharper teeth than a wolf, this tame can harvest more meat than any other creature! Please upvote. We need dogs 🐕

This fierce Dino or is called the gigantoraptor. This is a large ferocious beast that will not attack unless provoked and will have no problem dealing with the creature or “human” that attacked it. The gigantoraptor can grow up to 11 feet in height and 26 feet long which is half the height and length of the T-Rex, This omnivorous, feathered creature is a pack Dino and gets alerted when lager carnivorous creatures are near bye. The gigantoraptor can be found anywhere from mountain ranges, forests, and desert oasis were they are primarily found. The way to tame these Dino’s is very unique saying that you can only tame it bye exterminating or louring all of the other gigantoraptor away to the point we’re there is no pack bonus left, Once that task is done you have to then drop its health down to fifty percent or lower health then you can nock it out with proper means of tranq’s.

Yi Qi, in real life, a small micro raptor like creature but has membrane wings instead of feathers and was only capable of gliding instead of powered flight. In ark, the prehistoric creatures are subspecies of creatures they are based on, maybe an ark Yi Qi could be a supersized (size range im imagining is slightly larger than an argy maybe even close to allosaur or carno sized) version that is rideable, can climb rocks and redwood trees to glide off them, maybe the faster you glide down the more momentum you build to form a speed-based attack like the snow owl and griffin however as you swoop and hold down left click, a crosshair forms to be able to aim a quick sweep in and concuss an animal for a short period like a peregrine falcon where its short and quick and you're back in the air again without having to risk too much time being hit by a melee attack. This animal would be more of a support creature to help create openings in battles while other dinosaurs do the main work and would have to be very maneuverable in the air. Ability 1: An ability to compliment the speed, it could have a dismounting ability to launch speedy sneak attacks to knock other players from their mounts and pinning them down in the style a raptor can at the same time stunning the dino to ensure safety of the pinning ability, could even have an armor negation to its pin attack or damage the player based on a small percentage after the initial strike which would take into account its melee. For PVE related encounters it could stun certain sized animals and keep them still to make it an easier tame, (size of creature changes the stun time) or to offer more time for an escape. Ability 2: Since it has a bat like resemblance, an echolocation ability to spot players to give it an edge in badly lit areas, for example, night combat would give you the edge. This echolocation ability would be similar to the parasaurs but faster and can be heard by affected players to atleast know they have been spotted. (Didnt know desmodus was a thing, so instead probably could build off of its ability with another rider on a desmodus that lets you have a lesser version of its echolocation) Taming: Taming process could be, similar to the carcharodontasaurus but it can only be feed insect-like creatures or do a similar thing to andrewsarchus taming however youre falling off some very tall cliffs or trees trying to keep the animal upright so you don't fall off or just matching certain directions and if you fail you risk falling off hundreds of meters high while being sweep attacked by the Yi qi, perhaps on maps like crystal isles like the floating cliffs or the tall rocks on abberation you would have to utilize climbing picks or grapple hooks to get close and mount it where it then begins to fall and glide around the area at a high speed. Habitat: Redwood forests, biomes with cliffs, floating cliff mountains like in crystal isles would be perfect. Passive Abilities: Will collect more chitin and keratin when harvesting animals that can give it, Will increase the chances of collecting seeds from bushes, eating insect like creatures can give it a similar frenzy effect to the carcahro or just simply heal it to help with cave exploration. Cons: Perhaps as a balance, if its wings are shot in a pvp encounter holes will be blown into its membrane like wings and give a speed reduction which takes 2 or 3 min to fully heal, but must need a sniper bullets to penetrate the thick skin.

I know that in the ark there is a great chance of finding a great variety of extinct phauma but it never crossed my mind thearchaeoindris, larger as is to be expected in ark creatures but now I can study how they lived, their kinship with gorillas and sloths.With the gorillas and sloths of central South America, unlike the lemurs I knew, small, slippery and their funny way of fighting of who smells like the archaeoindris imposes respect with its size and violence if necessary. despite being a hervibore he will occasionally eat insects because like all lemurs indris loves his hygiene more than I do mine and uses some insects as repellent. This causes a symbiotic relationship with megatheriums as when there in the same area the megatheriem would find insects then would find a archaeoindris to make insect repellent for the archaeoindris. In return the archaeoindris would use insects so they can mash it to a substance. When a megatherium consumes this it goes into a more powerful form than just killing bugs without the archaeoindris. It is also not tameable in this state and will kill everything except the archaeoindris and it's group. Apparently this giant lemur is unique because they are not that good of climbers, I guess because of its large size and its evolution to adapt in living on the ground. but i've seen some indris manage to leap from tree to tree without the need to climb, not forgetting that they have very strong legs, like all lemurs, and that they have very strong legs. Commonly they are seen leaping on to thylas and causing them to fall out of trees. You will normally find groups of archaeoindris of 1 male and several females in jungle or forest biomes, if you come across a group of them the male is usually decisive. If he sees you as a threat, nuisance, or you don't offer food or play. he will not hesitate to attack you to protect the females as they are excellent wet nurses for his species. besides these lemurs have a gripping force that can grab you and your tame depanding on there size. Instant death from what i have been told (look on the bright side, only the male is the only one that will attack you) but if you stand still without looking him in the eyes he will allow you to walk through his territory, apparently it is a kind of respect between them. (I don't recommend you try to put him to sleep with narcotic arrows or darts because by ingesting a lot of insects they have developed immunity to any kind of narcotic. Tamed: Apparently only the males are the first to take the step to be tamed because if you try to tame a female she will ignore you as she only obeys her male alpha. Once the archaeoindris has allowed you to be close to his group by destroying stone structures, very carefully approach him and offer him dung beetle carcasses. With also using bug repellent as if you don't it takes that as a insult to it's hygiene and will attack you, if doing whats said he will take them and rub his body with them, enjoying it and thanking you. Once you tame him, the group of females that are with him will attack him as they no longer recognize him as the alpha. To tame the females you have to arrive with another group of archaeoindris and kill their male with your archaeoindris, by doing so you will not just 1 tamed female, but more than 2! (watch out when you have that duel the other male will have a 30% damage reduction buff). Apparently in this ark there was a cell of Gaius Nerva's legion that made a small army of archeoindris, I can tell by the armored mount they made and the flag (fortunately I got the blueprint of it), who would say that giant lemurs were excellent in combat, you know what they say: we are good at things we didn't know. well I don't have words to describe what I saw when another hostile tribe attacked them, but I'm sure it reminds me of a fantasy troll movie.the archaeoindris is unstoppable because it has a brutal gripping force that killed the enemies in an instant when it took the enemies in an instant by grabbing it with his hand. not to mention how brutal he is with the mangual he uses in his other hand. He is capable of destroying metal structures as if they were paper! and the most terrifying thing is his roar that makes the other allied creatures ignore the pain and keep on fighting, simply this lemur is incredible and brutal. *skills: - deadly grapple: the archaeoindris has a grappling force capable of taking out small enemies instantly like the noglin when it leaves a host, including survivors but it will be a very concentrated move that will need a little more time than normal (we know how hard it is to move a corpse so the archaeoindris will never let go of the enemy until you ask it to). - normal grab: it will be able to grab small creatures and survivors with its hand to capture. - throw it: it will be able to throw allies or enemies with its grip causing them to die from the fall. - flail brutality: it will swing the enemie or there tame and also slam them rapidly on the ground till death. he has his mangual, a deadly war weapon with 3 levels of power, when you raise a bar like shadowmane he will move you to the next level with another set of moves. to the next level with another set of brutal moves, at level 3 it does damage to metal structures and tek giving you the feeling of using a small mek. level 1: solid and direct but slow hits level 2: faster blows and intense combinations level 3: the adrenaline of the archaeindris is at its peak, metal structures and tek are bulnerable, every 3rd hit is a stun hit, dismount automatically. - flail grab: use the flail as a bolas and catch medium creatures (including flying ones) (but you can't use the flail while doing that). - forget the pain, keep fighting: possesses a great war cry that cancels all disadvantages caused by enemies to nearby allies and also buffs them (like fear, bleeding, etc). -great jumps: jumps from wall to wall or tree to tree to reach a target. passive: - the more damage he receives from bleeding, the more damage he will do. - attach a banner to your mount and it will offer a 20% xp increase. - when you face another archaeoindris the resistance increases by 15%. - resistance to poison, narcotics, toxins(bio toxin) of 60%. - if you get shot by weapons the stamina will be reduced slowly - when you have l50% health, they will not be able to dismount you. male skills: -bigalow: the male is the only one able to tame other females. -Consumer: this is when a male swallows any firearm ammo and when needed it will shoot the ammo of choice that will inflict torpor you can even double the torpor of a tranq dart if swallowed. female abilities: big mama: offer her food and she will atomatically take care of the offspring (only of her species) by carrying them on her back (it is necessary to remove the mount). super big mama: offer her superior kibble and she will automatically imprint her offspring (but the time will be longer). The armor of the archaeoindris can be made in the blacksmith shop. They are able the full set of flake armor with their saddle. You are also able to shoot off there back. pvp/pve utility: - they may have a reliable amount of health but the damage they have is devastating, take them on quests or even to the boss! Also has a berserker mode when it gets low you can't control them when in this state but you are not dismounted and they will fight till death. - make the role playing game of your dreams! lord of the rings style use the archaeoindris in battle! - use the archaeoindris to tame grypon, tropeo and others by trapping them with his weapon. The weapons they are able to use are: Chain bolas, bear trap and large bear trap, grenades, spear bolts, cannon balls, wood club, sword,and metal and riot shield. - finish off your enemies and take his body to a safe place to take everything he has!

This big fella is like the therozino but bigger and has bigger arms and hands, however smaller claws. It is almost the size of a Rex. It has some kind of thick sail on it’s back so it could perhaps be a very good swimmer and/or get water buff like the Spino. It has a duck beak similar to the Parasaur so a player and Dino detecting ability would be quite fitting. I think the Dino should also be quite fast as with most Dinos in it’s species being fast runners, big as a Rex but hella speedy on both land and water.
