It would be very exciting if there was a new TLC for some dinosaurs that are forgotten or have no function. Now with the arrival of ASA would be the perfect time for this. Dinos that need some TLC would be: - Araneo; - Pulmonoscorpius; - Purlovia; - Carbonemis; - Chalicotherium; - Diplodocus; - Dunkleosteus; These are interesting dinosaurs with potential for a role in the game. Here are some ideas (most ideas are from the Krakens Better Dinos mod) for each of them: -Araneo: All spiders climb walls, why not the ASA ones? The new ability would be the same as megalania, climbing any surface. A really useful ability would be for spiders to be able to trap creatures in their webs. Tapping with the right mouse button would be the same thing as now, it shoots the web and slows down. The new ability would be that when holding the right button, he would carry a ball of web that, if hit, would trap small and medium-sized creatures, including survivors. - Pulmonoscorpius Imagine a mini Karkinos with knockout venom. For scorpions there are countless ideas I've seen in the community, but this one would be really good. Pulmonoscorpius's claws would function similarly to Karkinos's, each being capable of carrying a small creature or human. As for the knockout idea, the claw and tail attacks would have to be separate and only the tail attack would generate torpor. - Carbonemis To make Carbonemys more useful in the game, the first thing to do is make it immune to Electrophorus and Cnidaria shock. Make its a Bio Toxin farmer. And adding an HP regeneration buff in area, it wouldn't be a healing, but an HP regeneration. - Chalicotherium Forgotten and abandoned, the chalico has a lot of potential, it just needs a few adjustments. The first change is to add a variation to his ammunition, in addition to stones, he could shoot feces like savages do. The feces would apply damage, slow and stamina debuff. The thrown rocks would ignore armor and damage stone and metal structures. And to top it off, add a tower mode like Velona and Parasaur. - Diplodocus The most useless of all, not even prime meat he drops. As the initial premise of this dinosaur was to be a bus, but it failed miserably, the idea is to change its function. Being a sauropod that does no damage and is fast is interesting, but to make it useful in the game today, we need to modify and add a few things. He needs some sort of defense besides his speed. A stun applied with the tail whip would be excellent; A weight loader function. To achieve this, it would have reduced the weight of several resources and reduced the weight of all structures, saddles, weapons and armor in the game; And obviously he can collect some things like berries, fibers, wood and thatch; - Dunkleosteus For Dunk, an interesting ability would be like Rhino's. When swimming it gains speed, reaching a certain limit and when colliding with a creature it would cause damage, stun and apply torpor. This skill's daze and damage would increase with Dunk's health. There are several other creatures that need a function or improvements, such as: Megaloceros, Oviraptor, Plesiosaur, Purlovia, Lymantria, Phiomia, Pachyrinhosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Onyc, Mosasaurus, Bronto. With the arrival of ASA I am hopeful about news and changes.

I feel it is tedious needing to use the radial wheel on controller to ride a Diplocaulus. Taking Oxygen should be in the radial wheel. I cannot count how many of them I’ve lost or myself died because of the precious seconds it wastes. It also prevents you from cuddling them as well. Also on controller, pressing “Take All” from an inventory (like a supply drop for instance) with LB/L1 should be prioritized over “Transfer All” to said inventory. Needing to go all the way up to the transfer button with the alternative being transferring all of your inventory to the drop before being able to take it is ludicrous in a pinch. Please return it to how it was in ASE where LB/R1 is only “Take All” and return the need to manually press the “Transfer All” button since this functionality isn’t needed as often. Or simply swap the order of Take All and Transfer All with our current set up and putting Take All first. There’s also the (to my knowledge) no way to equip bait on a fishing rod without using the mouse mode. It’s not unplayable, but it’s slightly tedious needing to swap the setting around as someone that prefers playing with the mouse mode disabled. This can be fixed by the ability to click an item with A/X to highlight it and click the second item to equip like it was in ASE. Correct me if there is a way already in ASA. Also please remove or increase the area cap for generators. As someone that prefers playing Official, this restriction is just tedious even for medium sized bases. There are probably more issues/oversights that I am forgetting, but I am treating this as a means to spark more ideas from others.

A previously peaceful server has turned toxic. Our group always minded our own business, farming, exploring, and building on the map. Whenever we had competition, we welcomed them to build and trade resources, and everyone was content. However, a new leader on the server changed their tribe name to our own and falsely accused us of destroying their base. They then allied with all the peaceful tribes on the server and attacked us. We managed to defeat them, but now we are constantly farming for war instead of focusing on other aspects of the game. If there is anyone out there who enjoys playing PVP, we would be happy to farm resources for you and provide you with a place to build up on the server. We need a structure similar to the water tank for electricity. The current set up of needing a generator for each area ends up being quite a bit tedious. Maybe some sort of "battery hub" roughly the same size as the ac units but 2 height. Then have them link back to the main generator like a water tank.

Hi, could you please add the option to have the Controller layout of ARK survival on ASA on Console please? This is optimized for keyboard and mouse and I hate that aspect, the good old L1 transfer and R2 was perfect for console. Thanks a lot.

When i die on playstation 5 and i go to get my loot all my loot is there exept for the armor. I have realised it only happends when a dino eats my body. I had my rex next to me while building and i fell i died and respawned i go get my loot but my armor is gone.

In ark survival evolved we went YEARS with having to demolish structures or just leave them as there was no way to pick up UNTIL the famous Exo-Mek !!! I understand exo mek is a gen2 tek gram and it wont be introduced early and in AS:A there was a glitch to pick up structures by replacing the support and picking up to pick up structures supported by that which made moving things around super easy but it was patched and now were back to stage 1 again, no pick up I am introducing the idea of potentially making the Rhynio (Which already has the ability to carry structures!) to be able to itemize the structures its holding so you can essentially pick up that structure and put it back in storage or move it wherever needed, and this would help all the builders in ark aside from people who build in caves, the work around for that is you could make the ability to itemize pickup structures an action the rhynio can do while walking on the ground if anyone has any other ideas or tweaks this is just a rough one but it would make building way nicer until exomeks are reintroduced #BringBackStructurePickUpperToArkBuilding

I'm researching a lot about the protocols used on game servers, such as the query protocol, RCON, etc. ARK: Survival Ascended was recently released, and as I, besides being a big fan of ARK: Survival Evolved and a researcher in the area, I want to find out how to obtain data from the ASA servers, but it seems that it does not use the Valve Query Protocol, as It doesn't use Steam, but rather Epic's EOS. If possible, I would like information on how to obtain information about the ASA servers, such as whether it is online, how many players are connected, etc. And any other information that can be shared would greatly help in my research, as I am adding information about several different protocols and game servers. I've been searching for way to check server population in game for close to an hour with no luck, I've looked online and in game with no luck. if anyone know a way to do so it would be greatly appreciated, confirming that it's impossible for now is also welcome

Hello this is not a suggestion I just couldn't click on anything else similar to a bug in game. I recently tamed 2 thylacoleos and now the high lvl one turned sideways when out of render and also with auto walk/run when I mount it. Please fix this issue. Thank you.

Hey all, We recently discovered players are able to download survivors, items, dinos (saved or by spawning them) within single player and from other servers, but not limited to just PvP > PvP. This means that players can upload/download from PvP > PvE and also from PvE to PvP. For now we've disabled downloading survivors, items and dinos to our servers but as you can imagine, this isn't ideal. Has anyone been able to successfully disable single player and other server transfers to your dedicated setups for ASA? Looking at the wiki it shows that this isn't working for ASA, only for ASE. However, I'm curious if any of you are able to confirm that this does work with ASA? I tried -NoTransferFromFiltering and -clusterid along with -ClusterDirOverride but neither of them work. This is a major issue and massive exploit!

Due to the nature of GeForce Now, mods are pretty much unusable in single player as they need to be found and reinstalled every time you launch the game, or else your save gets messed up. Now that Turkey Trial and presumably all future events have become a mod, this means folks playing through GeForce Now can't participate unless they play on a modded server.

Hi all, I downloaded the UE5 Ark Devkit. I have watched several YouTube tutorials, downloaded blender, messed with things myself, and I'm so lost I have no idea what the heck I'm doing. I would love some help because I find this stuff fascinating and would like to learn or take lessons. I'm happy to pay for lessons as well. My main goal was to make a bunch of custom dinos using the in-game dinos and some off-game ones (utilizing the skeleton meshes available in the current devkit). I'd also like to take a stab at creating a really pretty map because that looks fantastic too. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -OGBabzilla (my gamer tag on Xbox, and my other gamer related things through twitch, tiktok, etc.)

As a server owner, I'm in the awkward position of trying to include XBox players to our servers for the first time. It's proving to be exceedingly difficult as there is no list or database of which mods are available for console users, and if I activate XBox on my PC server, any non-compatible mods are automatically deleted. This could cause MASSIVE loss of all sorts of resources and tames for players. Can we PLEASE get a list somewhere (or a search parameter in Curse Forge) for XBOX mods?

Hi, I would suggest disabling dino / creature transfers from DLC maps to non-DLC maps and in between them. Reason for suggestion is to make maps unique in fightining style, immersion and make game less "newest map = new meta" The Island is balanced around dinos found on that map, so allowing transfers of wyverns, manas, mewings map seems so small to travel from one side to another. Abberation was so unique cause map is no flyer relient, and imagine adding flyers there map would lost its meaning, immersion and unbalanced. Lack of content or QoL that new dinos offer could be replaced with another existing dinos on another maps, like Procoptodon can have Meawing abilitys ect or dino that already serve no bigger purpose then being unit for meat runs.

Is there any information at all out there if Xbox getting its ability to host dedicated servers in the future? We use to be able to do it in ASE but I know originally the plan was for nitrado servers only. I have since seen the roll back for steam allowing them to host private servers but will Xbox get this function again. I don’t expect an eta but if someone from WC can just confirm yes or no that would be greatly appreciated.

I noticed crashing in Singleplayer when acessing the Cookingpot and smithy like litterally every time i access them . It is also very laggy and stutters every time i move something in all inventorys .this needs a hotfix . Was like this since a couple days after the launch of asa .

So, I noticed on my series S, I cannot adjust the screen size. I can do the UI slot scale, but not a screen scale. I can't see my stats on the right hand side. I'd recommend making this an option to adjust
