Official PVE Server 866 The Island Xbox One Didnt get as much time as id like this weekend but i have decieded im gonna make my base at redwood forest my main base. i have made a larger 4x5 house on pillars with only one poking through but is hidden my ramp stairs. (Grid Reference 54.3 - 41.7), Its a 2 story box house and with a barn style roof. Logged off and onto my Single player and done some electrical grid testing, and have found a very neat way of hiding the generator and most of the electrics,by placing a small room under the floor on the pillars then i have hatchs on the stair to turn it off if needed, the 2 fridges fit perfect under the stairs and can be hidden behind a window frame too. logged back onto Server and put it in place along side fridge and also fabricator, Also have an insutrial grill to but not 100% happy with where i placed it but it will do for now. I had day off tuesday so put in some solid hours grinding materials and also built a 4x4x4 thatch hatchery on pillars again, will make it out of wood and stone at some point. just need to figure out if i want to run wire from one builing to the other or make a seperate power grid, will only be used for hatching and then dino storage. also pillard off small section of the beach and slightly larger outside fence Perimeter too. will be making a small hut for storage boxs then i can take both my argy's and make the great move. hoping to have it all done after work this week and the hatchery set up and stocked ready for this weekend's event and hatch my first dino ! Would pics be wanted/allowed in these posts too?

PVE Official Server Island map on xbox I started off as usual doing a metal run and got some obsidian too, also extended my mountain base house a little to give the flailing tales of the anklyo and doed room . then did some drop hunting and scouted for new base location. might have found somewhere near the Green obelisk, only issue is its on a slope but it is flat, i have put a thatch foundation and pillars as place holders. i will log into single player and do a quick test build to see if it will work and also avoid wasting material, if it doesn ti will just scrap the pillars and let someone else build

Sorry about double post above. Last time started off farming 400 metal and got that in the forge, did some more house keeping with reasources. flew to the ice area and killed a few mammoths and rhino's to get pelt. i also took with me a portabase in my argy, made a small hut to shelter if needed. also on the way back i spotted a wild DOedicaurs, rock farmer dino, it was high level than i thought so had to scrounge 5 extra kibble, luckly someone on my server had some, tried to give him metal in exchange but he would take it. which is always nice. Im trying to get my self set up with lots of metal for trading, stone and also stuff for elctronics to buildmy main baase, with working generator, air con for eggs, fridges. *Question for anyone Where should i start my new perma base and what size do i make the main house and walls around it. Currently have a small beach house, at 75.38, a small base at 55.42 and a tiny cabin in the snow.

Last night i farmed a bit more metal and got it in the forge with spark powder while i played.

PVE Official server Last night i put in some good hours, but as usual felt like i got nothing really done. tidied up the dino's again need to set them to passive and get my baryonyx back on guard duty. while i was organising stuff from my argy a wild lvl 25 Lystrosaurus was wandering in my bass so i tammed him up to go along side another i have. Flew to my redwood mountain base and did a metal/crystal run with anklo. on the way back down spotted 2 sabers lvl 10 and 20, dropped the ankloy in base walls and headed back up. knock them out and started tamming with raw prime meat,suprised how quickly it jumped on tamming. got them back to base all tamed up, so now have 2 meat gatheres for that base too, also started cooking up some kibble to train a DEOD , want to start upgrading to stone walls so will be a great help, will wait for the 2x event to tame a high level one.

Ive seen this mentioned a few times, is it good practice to let the tame get low on food before dumping in the meat/kibble etc ? does it make a faster tame
