PS4 - unofficial cluster As planned, I bred up some summer bash colored Bulbdogs for someone on the server. I also found 4 summer bash colored Owls that I can give to them as well. I spent the rest of the evening breeding my owls hoping to get more color mutations. I got a couple stat mutations, and got an orange chest mutation, which I sadly already have, but better than nothing. I friend gifted me a yellow and red high level Tapa, and I bred it to my low level but cool event colored tapa. I got twins with the high level's stats, and a good mix of the colors. I finished 100% imprinting on a blue female giga, and bred her to my partially blue male. hopefully they with stack to give me an all blue. I croyo'd about 40 pink or yellow owls I had used in breeding ,since I now have a breeding pair of all Pink as well as all Yellow. They are positioned on the deck next to the base, right along side the all Red pair, the all Blue pair and the all Neon Green pair. I bred up the high level Deinys and got another batch of eggs. I need to do an element vein on Extinction, as I need more Element. Maybe tonight I will hatch and imprint one of my Tek Quetz eggs. Otherwise, probably take a few gigas, thylas and deinys out to do element vein. Also need to get back on Valguerro, and continue exploring the map.

PS4 -Unofficial Cluster I really only got to play a bit on Friday evening and then for most of Sunday. My vertigo from 2 years ago returned last week, so it slowed down my pace of play as it gets hard to focus. Friday I finally was able to get into the Dr. for a vertigo treatment, and by Sunday afternoon was feeling better. Still not 100%, but certainly better than last week. Friday I did very little, except grind to make hard poly. One of the admins on the cluster is having a mystery box event on Sunday afternoon, and it costs 10k hard poly per box. The drops are boosted on this server, so you can use a lot of that loot to grind/demolish into poly. But I also made plenty the old fashioned way. Sunday I finally made it up to 30k poly. I selected three boxes. 2 from the "Dinos" category, and 1 from the "Random" category. They also had BPs, Gear, and structures categories. Max level wild dinos are 420 on this server. With the first Dino box, I got a unleveled 630 Rock Golem! With the 2nd Dino box, I got a breeding pair of unleveled 630 Deinys ! With my "Random" box, I got an Abberrant unleveled 630 Ape, as well as a ASC Mana saddle BP (which I had been looking for) All in all, I was very happy with what I got. I don't think I will use the ape for much, so I intentionally leveled it up in stamina and speed, so I can just run around the map on his back for fun. The Rock Golem I will try using for Drops and element veins on Extinction, in conjunction with my Gigas and Thylas. (Still working on my Quetz babies) For the rest of Sunday, I jumped between the maps. I managed to finally get a breeding pair of the all Pink Owl, so that is good. Still working on all CYAN, all Mint, and all Light Blue. I need 1 zone for all of those to complete them. I also tamed up a bunch of wild owls (about 12) to add to my clean breeders to try for more color mutations. The all orange owl is still made up of two types of orange. so not totally satisfied with that yet. On the Extinction map (my main OWL base) I built a secured hatchery, to help with keeping my eggs safe from the d-bag thief. Tonight I will breeding up some event colored Bulbdogs for a person on the cluster who lost everything due to Decay. Their daughter was unexpectedly in the hospital for 2 weeks, and they (understandably) forgot to log onto ARK. So their base and dinos all but decayed. (The admins prefer people don't build in TEk, due to the lag.) They also lost some Summer bash snow owls, so I am going to look thru my wild tamed event owls and pick out a few that I no longer need. (mostly the bright red and bright blue zoned ones.) I want to keep the dark blue and brick red ones, as I still will be making all one color versions of those. My only other plans for tonight, are to continue breeding my 630 Deiny pair for an egg stock pile, and continue imprinting my latest giga baby. She is up to 75% now.

I believe the Far Side & Bloom County is all the rage these days. And when building your Tek Replicator, don't forget ball bearings. It's all ball bearings these days!

You only need Steel dino gates to trap a giga. Saves you some of the grind for materials.

I don't think any of that affects the Rage issue when it comes to imprints, but I will defer to the more experienced Giga people. @yekrucifixion187 ?

PS4 - UNofficial Cluster - Valguerro Finished building my outpost at 48, 47. Nice little spot, but a crap ton of brontos. Thankfully have Plant X turrets, which are taking care of them. (Our cluster doesn't want gated bases, so the admins give Plant X turrets to those who ask, so that their bases are protected.) I then spent about 2 hours farming drops to get supplies for the outpost. Strangely never got any tools or longneck rifle above primitive. I looked for the loot cave I see in RoyalWithCheese videos, but could not find it. I then spent another hour looking for Deiny eggs. All I found was a level 126, and two level 52 eggs. Then as I was heading back to base, a buddy who has been on vacation logged on, and apparently he had been on earlier in the day, and built a big base in the Chalk Cliffs. We were talking about my low level eggs, and he said, come on, follow me, So we went back out looking for eggs. WIthin 30 minutes I had 6 eggs all level 286 or higher, included a couple over 380. (Max wild level is 420 on cluster). By now it is close to midnight, and I need to get some sleep. So I tell my buddy I'm heading back to base. he says hold on, one more spot to check. I tell him thanks, but I needed to go to bed. So as I'm flying back to base; he says, "I see a nest, you sure you don't want the egg?" I tell him thanks, but he should take it. 10 seconds later .... "Wow it is a max level 420 egg!" (I then fly sadly back to base crying about my poor timing.) Oh yeah during my travels earlier in the evening , I tamed a nice looking mid level Tek Rex, and a Tek Parasaur. Well actually 2 Tek Parasaurs, but as soon as one stood up, 2 rock golums woke up and pounded it into pieces. I still cannot tell the difference between regular rocks and the golums on Val. And they seem to be everywhere!. Tonight I plan on spending some time on Ext, breeding up a couple battle Owls for caves for my buddy and I. ( I have some babies popping with 8000k HP, others with 6k Stam, and others with over 1000 melee. Now I just need to combine all the stats. I also want to hatch the 10 deiny eggs. But I'll probably do it in Ext. Hopefully I don't lose the eggs in the cluster transfer.

I haven't asked for their help. There is nothing posted on the server rules about "Not stealing eggs from others" so I'm probably out of luck. But I did post his user name on the cluster's dischord warning people about this scumbag..

PS4 - Unofficial Cluster - PvE A few days ago I posted about how I saw some guy steal eggs from my breeding owls, while I was in my base grabbing more saddles. So I didn't catch the player ID. But then later that same day, I see who it it is, when he does it again. I call him out in chat, and get no reply. Typical coward thief, d-bag scum. The next day, I see owls with very similar colors to mine popping up on another map in the cluster. So last night, I am building a huge new barn to hold all my breeding owls, to prevent future thefts. Suddenly my Parasaur "Facebook" (because facebook watches everything you do) notifies me of an intruder. I look out in the yard, and I see someone on a Owl. I run over , grab on of my owls, and the owl is gone. But the Parasaur shows new red rings just below my base (built on a land bridge) I fly underneath, and the guy is just hovering there. obviously hiding. So I confront him in chat, "back trying to steal more eggs?" and the scumbag actually replies " yeah, its kinda what I do" He then flies up and lands in the middle of my base, and starts running around checking for eggs to steal, all the while I'm standing right there, telling him to leave. (finding none, he gets back on his owl. (which happens to be an exact match to the colors and patterns I was breeding up the first day I discovered him. He proceeded to fly up and just hover right in my face, clearly flaunting that he had one of my owls. (by the way it is a yellow face & body with red shoulders and red stripes- I nicknamed them the McDOnalds line) Needless to say, it sucks that I had to build a huge barn, just because this d-bag goes around stealing peoples eggs. Now, I can understand, if I was offline, and had left my owls on mating. But no, I was breeding, run into my base building to craft /grab some more saddles while they are breeding, and he is swooping in and stealing the eggs. Oh well, I'm done ranting. I just am amazed at how scummy people can be online and in real life. Besides building the big barn, and starting the slow process of moving the breeders (about 95 currently) I also managed to get a couple CYAN babies that have all the zones, combined except the wing/thin stripe zone. I don't have a cyan mutation in that zone, so there's not much more I can do with this line until I get one. I also managed to get the color combo I wanted as a gift to a person on the cluster, who let me breed to her owls. She had about a dozen different owls each with a color mutation zone. She said her favorite colors were yellow, purple and pink. Having no purple to work with, I decided to make a Pink body Owl, with yellow stripes and a yellow chest. It turned out great, and really looks good. So I gave that to her last night along with a painted ASC owl saddle. At this point, I decided I wanted to give Valguerro another shot, as the server settings had been fixed. I log in, and my character is dead, thanks to a level 82 Pego, that jumped up into my thatch mini base. It also killed my only tame a parasaur. But in preparation of logging in to Val, I had uploaded an owl and enough supplies to make a small outpost base on the map. I decide on the center of the map, up high near the water. I start building the base, and jump on the owl to place the ceiling tiles, when I get disconnected. I try to log in repeatedly for the next hour, but the server's only 10 slots are full. I managed to get up early before work this morning, and log on, I finished the base, put the Owl and my glow pug inside for safe keeping, and put down a bed and trough, and log out. I have only seen the area in the Green Ob to 50/50 portion of the map, but it is beautiful.

PS4 - Unofficial cluster still working on my colored owls, so I was jumping around from Center to Rag to Extinction, breeding and moving breeders around. I now have 3/4 zone for a Cyan owl, but need to get them all on one owl. I have 4/4 zones for an all Pink, but best I can get thus far is 3/4 on a baby. and over on the center, I managed to finally get my first all orange owl. Now that is a bit misleading, as it is two different tones of orange. But it still looks pretty good. I will continue to try and find the other zones in both oranges or continue to breed for color mutations to get them. But I'm making some progress. I also got a new color mutation zone for the Mint Green owls. I now have 3 zone for that. but I haven't really done any work on it, just setting aside the ones with that color mutation, and will start combining them in the next week. Also, while on Rag, I was waiting at my friends base in the desert. I got bored, so I went out hunting scorpions. (on this cluster, Scorpions/Wolves & raptors can randomly give 3-7 element when killed. I got on a hot streak and had farmed up 100 element in about 30 minutes. (insert Borat voice "Great Success") So then I fly over a sand dune, and I come across a huge metal behemoth trap.as I fly up and over it, I nearly crash into a wild Giga! it was not in the trap, but only a couple hundred yards away. I figured, what the heck, I kite it into the trap, and see how long it takes for it to figure out how to go back the open gate. So I get it into the trap, and for giggles I decide to check to see if by the grace of ARK, the builder left the gate UNlocked. indeed they had! So I lock in the Giga, and proceed to KO it. It was not a high level, but a nice Gray color that I rarely see on gigas on this cluster. Running out of narcotics, it was down to 5% torpor, when it took it's final bite and stood up! I was so worried, I had already exited the trap, and was figuring I would have to return and KO it another time. But I got lucky! Led the Giga back to my friends base, and we did some owl breeding, then went to bed, while he went back to valguerro.

I'm on a Cluster that is 50% Aussies & Brits, yet is owned by a Canadian. So I guess those people are selfish for playing on a North American server too huh?

Giga was a nice Royal Purple. I have a breeding pair of a blue topped Male and a cyan female currently. So it would be fun to add another color to the mix.

Gem, Your opinion isn't rude, since I asked for input on the subject. not a bad idea about putting the egg aside. The Ext map on this cluster is very low populated (8 people was the most I ever saw on it.) I have never seen this play on, and their base is pretty close to mine. I play nearly every night, and way too many hours over the weekend. so my guess is this is a person from another country, and on a totally different schedule than me. I have the egg in a fridge, and know specifically which one it is. I'll keep a look out for this player for another couple weeks. If no luck, then I will keep and hatch. The levels on the egg are lower than my current Gigas, but the color is different, so that would be cool to get.

PS4 - Unofficial Cluster So everyone was eagerly awaiting the release of Val for the cluster on Friday. I of course was patiently waiting for my 6 hour download to finish. Only to watch as a 2 hours patch download immediately after. So I went to bed on Friday Valguerro-less. Got up early saturday morning to drive thru a tornado ravaged area from the night before on the way to my shack up north. Got there, and my Bro-in-law decided to cancel due to weather. So had to unload a full trailer by myself in a thunderstorm, then drive back home. After drying off and having lunch, I am playing Valguerro by 12:30. But there is a problem with the server settings, and it is at Official settings. I have not played official settings in a long time, and the other maps on the cluster are boosted, so it was a shock to the system. It took my over an hour and multiple deaths to sneaky Allos, before I found a dodo to kill and get hide. finally, after 4 hours, a dozen deaths and only being level 14, I made it to the Green OB; only to have a max level raptor camping directly on the OB! Had to play the kiting game away from the OB, but finally got the raptor lured away far enough, after a couple more deaths. Access the OB, and I cannot download the gear and cryo'd Owl I had uploaded. Apparently only live dino upload/download was working. Well that sucked. Quit Valguerro and log into Extinction. Breed some owls, then transfer over to Center to breed some more owls. In the meantime, my new best friend totally loses his character transferring to join me. GONE! So after hearing the horrors of losing your character, I decide to make a new Toon on every map in the cluster. I then get a helpful admin to jump from map to map, to add my new toon to my original tribe. Sure I will no longer be transferring my Toon between maps, and that means the long upload and download procedure of items. BUT, at least I won't lose my toon. Meanwhile the Valguerro map is totally bjorked with the admins and cluster owner working non-stop to fix it. Seems to be a Nitrado issue, as other clusters had similar problems. People on the cluster are bitching and moaning about Valguerro not being up. They seem to forget that they are on a free boosted cluster. Maybe they should rent their own servers. Poor Admins (which are great on this cluster) are tired and stretched thin, putting up with complainers. I finally decide that I will wait on Valguerro to settle down in a week or so. Spent Sunday on jumping between Rag, Center & Ext. breeding owls and finally found a guy that had the missing Pink shoulder mutation I needed. He wanted a ton for the breeding, but only slightly more to buy the owl outright. So then I see he has a female with a zone I like, and ask to breed to that female, with the male I just bought. He says sure... as we are breeding, he says he has another egg from that breeding. I pay the man, and he gives me the two eggs. Then he says he has to go and logs off. Well the second egg was from a totally different female, and NOT the one I wanted. Needless to say, not happy with his bait and switch. No really money exchanged, just element, but still. Not cool dude. anywhooo, get the pink shouldered male back to Ext, and breed him with my pink zoned females. Eventually i get to an all pink owl except for red stripes. I just need to breed those out, and will have my all Pink owl. At the same time, I FINALLY got my all Yellow owl to click, and ended up getting an all yellow breeding pair. So this month, I have completed my All bright red, All bright blue, all Neon Green, and all yellow Owls. Nearly done on the all Pink as well. However I now need to build a huge secure barn, because twice this weekend while breeding owls, I would run into my base to grab a saddle or more meat, only to come out and watch someone fly off, and they had stolen some fert eggs. They must have been watching for me to go into the base, and timed it right. The second time I got the name, and tried to confront him in chat. He would not reply, but I have his name. Sad that people resort to this. Next in line are all Teal, all Cyan and all light Blue. I managed to get a new Teal zone mutation, as well as a new Cyan zone mutation, so getting closer with those. Also got a Mint green mutation to add to my other 2 Mint green mutations. Now I just need to start combining those into 1 owl. Late last night, a kid came on, and asked if he could borrow a flyer from anyone for a few minutes. Well considering I I had about 75 owls sitting out, and another 200 in cryopods, I said sure I'll help you out. So I pick out a low level Owl I had tamed and go meet the guy at Red OB. I give him the owl and return to base. About 15 minutes later, he says he is done with owl, and can I meet him at the Blue OB. Since I was planning on looking for leftover event owls and manas in the snow biome, I meet him there. He gives me back my owl that I loaned him. He then asks if I can help him tame an owl for him to keep. I used a ptera and 3 dino gates to trap, and so I told him to grind up 6 gates and 4 doors (enough for two traps) In the meantime, I go out scouting for owls with my Ptera. right off the bat, I find 1 level 228 in amongst two other Owls. So I land and put down a quick trap (I already had my own trap supplies with me) Well I managed to kite two of the 3 owls into my trap. and knock them out. Only to realized that the 228 wasn't one of them. I then lead the two owls back to the kid who is excited. I tell him I will be right back. I return and tame up the 228 female. Now he is very happy. He also has the traps materials crafted. So I fly him over to a good area, and show him how to lay out the trap, and how to use a ptera to kite the owls into it. He says thanks and takes off. I am sitting there a minute, when I see a cool looking Gray and brown owl (nothing like the wild ones I have tamed before) So I check it out, and it is a 236 level male. I quickly trap and tame it. I message the kid and say hey bring the good female back and I will breed it to a good male. While waiting for him to return, I realize I have a top level wild female in my inventory. SO I pop her out, and breed her to the new male. The kid arrives, we breed those owls, and now he has 2 good eggs, a good female, a medium female and a low level male. I also gave him a couple saddles. Not too bad of a start for him. A little later on, he says in chat that he just saw my base (with the 70+ colored owls sitting out), and that amazingly his base is very close to mine. I told him if he gets a color mutation with his owls when breeding them, to let me know, and maybe I will buy a breeding from it, or we can trade breeding if he wants some color. I won't let anyone breed to my full color ones, but my my single or double zoned colored ones is fine. I also got two eggs from my Tek Quetz pair, and will be raising them soon. Last but not least, I flying around the city on Ext, and see some cool colored Gigas. I stop to take a look, and there is a fert giga egg sitting there, with nearly no health left. I grab it, and call out in chat to the base owner. multiple posts, and no response. during this time, I noticed he has a dead baby yuty and some dead baby velonasaurs laying around, plus the Velo have a fert egg too. Pretty obvious this guy is not online, and left his dinos on mating. After trying one more time in chat with no response, I decide to keep the giga egg, and head back to base. I think in this case, it is ok to keep the egg since it was going to spoil anyway in minutes, and the owner was offline. Am I wrong?

I fear for the captain's safety. I smell a mutiny!

Yeah so, I just noticed that the update is downloading for me currently. I also noticed is says 6 hours until finished downloading. Gotta love small town internet!
