Today was one of those days where we started with 1 goal in mind, bring our bears to the volcano to farm mantis for polymer, and farm obsidian and crystal, and never even did it, lol. Started the day by finishing our pen expansion. Then we decided to set up a tree platform and taps in the redwood forest. Once we returned from the forest, a lvl 145 female rex was not 10 feet from our taming pen, so we just had to tame it. As it was taming we thought, lets get a low level quetz for eggs and to pick up dinos. So i make up a batch of kibble, and the wife and i hop on our griffin and find a lvl 15 over the volcano. We start tranqing it and it goes down right on the out skirts of murder snow...of course. Luckily it was only a 10 minute tame at our rates, and about 1 degree F, so we tough it out and it finishes taming as our screen starts to go red, lol. We get it back and finally head out for the volcano run. We get just out of rendering of our base, and come upon a trio of allos (100 female, 20 female and a 25 male). I thought, might as well tame these for kibble. So i grab agro and my wife takes off to make sure the taming pen is open. I did not realize the bleed had a slow effect, so Im slowly kiting these 3 allo to the pen and my 100% imprinted bear is tanking like a champ. Luckily for me the lvl 100 takes off after a parasaur which eased off on the damage. After what felt like an hour the 2 low levels are in the pen. My bear was beaten and bloody but still alive, lol. After they tame I find the 100 and we tame her too. And then it was too late to do our volcano run, so thats what we will hopefully do tomorrow, lol. I need to get some ACs built so we can start hatching some rex

Had a decent morning today. Started out looking for a 140+ male rex to go along with my 140 (pretame) female. Still cant ride them for 2 more levels but I have plenty of scorp eggs so why not start my rex army, lol. Looked in my usual spot that usually has 2 or 3 rexes wreaking havoc, but only found low lvls. As I'm looking for rexes, my wife spots a 145 griffin, so we kite it to base and start taming it on mutton. While its taming we take our bears out to kill everything in my usual rex hunting ground to try and get more to spawn, and after a little bit I spot 2 145 rexes, 1 male 1 female and get excited, lol. We rush back to check on the griffin and its at 90% (5x taming speed). So I ask my wife to stay with it and exit the pen as soon as its tamed, and I grab my griffin and start kiting the male to base. Timed it perfect as I rounded the corner to my pen, she was leaving. So we knocked it out, and I start thinking I wish I had 1 more large dino taming pen so I could get the female too, lol. We had to go to work soon and only had time to tame the male, so I hope the female is still around tomorrow. After tame the male had 7k hp, 1500 stam and 337 melee. So this weekends project will be building a 2nd large dino taming pen, as well as making the 3rd expansion to our dino pen, lol. And I need to build a few ACs so I can start hatching some rex eggs

Had a productive day today. Started by taming a 150 male argent. Then we decided we wanted to get mammoths. Put together stuff for a taming pen and a small 2x2 shack with a fireplace, made enough raptor kibble for 2 150s, loaded up our bears and setup shop on Hibbert Summit. Ended up getting a 145 male and 140 female by the time we were done. As the female was taming a yutty spawned nearby. We rushed over to kill it so it would not eat our mammoth in tame, didnt realize it was a 150 female until it was dead I would have said forget about the mammoth if I knew that, lol. Oh well. On the way home we saw a 140 female rex near our base. So we quickly put the mammoths away, i grabbed my griffin and kited the rex to our taming pen. Can't ride it for 4 more levels, but we couldnt pass up taming it. After this weekends tames, its time to expanded our dino pen again. I thought the last expansion would last a while, but 2 mammoths, 2 rex and a diplo take up a good amount of space, so I guess thought wrong, lol

Decided to do some taming today. Started with a lvl 20 Pachyrino for eggs. Then grabbed 2 lvl 140 bears (male and female). Our field had an excessive ammount of brontos and stegos (atleast 20 of each) so we took the new bears out to kill them all and level. Tried to kite a 140 female allo to our taming pen, but couldnt get it to keep agro on me. Then I got knocked off my griffin by a micro raptor, and the allo ate me which was quickly eaten by my griffin, so that put a stop to that plan, lol Now we have a lvl 130 diplo knocked out in our taming pen (5x taming) that im going to half pay attention to while doing stuff around the house. Didnt have enough eggs to make kibble so its on mejos. Wish it was much lower lvl because its just going to be used for eggs, but it was the 1st female we saw nearby in a week so we took what we could get. The rest of the afternoon we our going to afk breed our new bears and a few more wolves too. We thought it would be fun to lead a wolf pack with the bears. We also want good bears because we are going to eventually build an outpost in murder snow and see if we can survive, because why not, lol.

Lol. Usually shes passanger on our griffen. But is it just me, or is the water extremely clear in the swamp near the haunted castle? Hard to tell how deep the frogs are till your swimming.

Didn't do a whole lot today. Finally Got sick of running out of water making kibble so I finally ran pipes down to the swamp. Wasn't terribly far away, I've just been lazy. Then decided to look for a frog to tame in the swamp, got too close to the water (it is so clear) and dismounted and my argent took off to god knows where and I started getting eaten by a sarco. Managed to grapple to a high point, asked my wife to come pick me up and she dismounts too, lol. She grapples to safty and luckily her argent didnt take off, i whistle follow, jump on, grab my wife and bring her back to base, then go in search of my argent. Find it in a field fighting a few brontos and stegos for some reason. I whistle passive and follow and get it home with only 200hp left. Then i tame a 145 frog, and while searching for a 2nd frog find a lvl 55 female bary instead, grabbed it and tamed it for eggs. Then head to work, lol. I plan on breeding wolves again tonight if I get time. If not Ill do it tomorrow.

Almost lost half my wolf pack this morning. All are fairly fresh tames so we were doing some leveling. Kind of went after more then we could chew, lol. Started out easy, killing a bunch of beavers and other small stuff, then came around to a field that always has a lot of brontos and rex fighting. Went after a lone bronto and before we knew it was 3 more brontos and 2 high lvl rex. Managed to kill all of them and make it out alive but the entire pack was a really dark shade of red, lol. Not doing that again without more numbers and more leveling. We finished the morning by starting our dino pen expansion, adding another 10x15 area to keep our dinos safe. Got the fence supports layed out, just need to build walls and gates. Hopefully this last us atleast a few weeks before we have to expand again.

We've been playing as a family on our own private servers for most of our ark career. Its been pretty fun, took some breaks here and there but always come back. Started with an island server pre biomes, took a break, came back to the center for a while, took another break, tried an unofficial pvp server for a month, but after 2 server wipes in a month decided it wasn't for us and started an SE server, but switched to Ragnarok about 3 weeks ago and love it so far. Been mostly just my wife and I the last few months as one brother is out of the county, but he comes back in a few weeks then its back to normal. Had a busy weekend, did a little taming for our kibble farm and also tamed a lvl 130 dire bear. It was in a taming pen and somehow a hell pig spawned on top of it and dropped it to 70% TE before I was able to drag it away. Nbd as we just play pve. To finish the weekend we got our generator going along with couple of lights and a few fridges. And we killed 3 Alpha raptors within an hour of each other. We dont have any real strong mounts yet so the wife and I did hit and runs, her on a ptera, me on a griffin. Took about 5-10 minutes each, but the xp and prime were well worth it. Today we started our wolf pack. Tamed 3 wolves this morning, a lvl 145, 140 and 100 (pre tame) and have a pup about half an hour from being mature. Our goal is a pack of 10 or so just for fun kill everything meat runs, lol. Realized this morning my dino pen is getting crowded, so I need to start expanding it pretty soon.

I play on a private Rag server along with my wife and brothers. Today the wife and I finally moved from our beginner base in viking bay to one we spent the last 2 weekends building in the plains near haunted castle. After being there for half an hour we realize we absolutly hate how tall the grass was which really would have hindered collecting eggs and poop. So we ripped it back up (thank god for s+) and moved to a wide, flat plateau near the castle with really short grass. Played way longer then we planned on today, but we love the new base and the area has plenty of room to expand, so it was worth it. This weeks projects are to build a taming pen, run water from the beaver pond (we are using a dozen resivoirs now), and tame, tame, tame.
