    I think the Rhyniognatha may also request it as a craving, so that's another way to use it.

    I tried three times and 2 times were a Mosa with all points in Food, and the 3rd time was a Juv Argie with all points in HP. But I had already found a wild Argie with better HP.

    You can tame them this way after killing the parent, but you don't get the extra levels for going through the chicken dance. Not sure if this changed since the last patch. But... the wiki suggests you can recover the missing levels by imprinting/bonding with the claimed baby.

    Or add an item such as a backpack which allows you to carry the Troodon.
