  1. Strange that they didn't showcase or even mention megalosaurus ability to "grab" creatures
  2. Finally they are abandoning the whole scifi dinosaur theme!
  3. Ahh! Rage... How can you beat someone so sarcastic?
  4. Well raptors were real, giant bees were not. Don't worry real bees are being eliminated.
  5. Are they any crazier than any of the other horrible creatures in Ark
  6. These are gonna give dire bears a run for their honey!
  7. I was referring to the mythological aspects of scorched earth. I think si fi is realistic in that it COULD be possible, but magical creatures are not. But I don't have to buy scorched earth so it doesn't really matter.
  8. I didn't see any spiny lizards, did I miss something?
  9. Don't get me wrong I love the new map, mechanics and features it's just some of the creatures eg. Giant rock golem, manticore, wyvern...
  10. I'd love this if it were a bit more realistic, they might as well add ridiculously oversized weapons and extravagant armor.
  11. Oh, and that's one cool looking lava canyon. Obviously it's going to be pretty warm in this new map.
  12. They have the appropriate colors to be the boss eggs, but obviously gorillas don't lay eggs. Maybe the people that made the ark used genetic splicing to create the bosses and hatched them out of eggs? Idk
  13. This appears to be a larvae of some some sort, so what does it turn into? Although larvae tend to be much more hideous and bloodthirsty than their adult forms.
  14. Another tyranosaurid, albertosaurus or daspletosaurus?
  15. It seems the desert is going to be the new cave in terms of giant man-eating creepy crawlers
  16. Here I'll explain, the two dossiers that I mention seem to show a survivor gathering oil and water from the creatures. Oil is understandable but water? This suggests that if you are in the desert you can not have access to water, which doesn't seem very possible on the current map unless they made a HUGE expansion which is unlikely. Oh and that is Rex, or a new desert theropod like an albertosaurus or tarbosaurus. Look closer and you can see its small two fingered arms and large hind legs.
  17. Hmm... If you look closely at some of these dossiers they have some clues as to how the desert biome is going to work. The "camelasaur" and "flowerfly" dossiers seem to suggest it is going to be a whole new map. Yet there is a Rex in this one, which could mean an endless possibility of things but is still interesting...
  18. Another moth? Wait a butterfly? No a firefly? Uhh, flowerfly? I'm confused.
  19. It may not have the strength of a giga(scarier than gigas though) but gigas aren't the dominant species.
  20. In the troodon dossier it says that the only reason it was not the dominant species was because it lacked physical strength, I think this mantis has that strength...
