Common Name:Dacentrurus Species: Dacentrurus Fulgur Time: Early Cretaceus Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Neutral Introduction: Greetings, survivors! I introduce to you the living generator and gear upgrader ; the Dacentrurus! The foundational ideas and selling points for this creature include: Role as a high damage , decent health support mount mobile generator temporary upgrades for weapons,saddles and clothing good harvester potential boss fighter Actions: Primary Attack (, , ): tail attack with that goes through armor Secondary Attack (, , ): electricity wave that stuns enemy creatures in close proximity (needs at least 50% charge to work) Passive Abilities: herd boost: boosting the damage of every herbivore around it wireless generator power . has to be 100% charged plate and spike shedding Fuel and charge: Due to the dacentrurus’es highly corrosive stomach acid it can digest many of this world’s energy sources , turning them into pure energy that then is being broadcasted through it’s solar panel like plates Fuel items: oil- it is digested in moderate speed, providing small coverage area and medium charging sulfur- digested slowly it provides a medium coverage area and charging slowly gasoline- the fastest digesting there is , medium coverage area with also the fastest charging speed propellant- digested in moderate speed , big coverage area with medium charging speed element shards-being digested fast , it provides a large coverage area with quick charging speed . it also is the only resource that can power tek Charge: Similar to the carcharodontosaurus , dacentrurus also has a bar but instead of being called blood rage it is called charge bar, depending on the type of fuel resource you are using it can be replenished at different speeds. the charge is used for the dacentrurus’es abilities and to display when it’s going to broadcast the power to the structures Temporary gear upgrading: Occasionally the dacentrurus would shed it’s plates and spikes that can be picked up and put as an attachment to your gear , they brake when taking/dealing damage so they are not permanent PLATES: -slightly but noticeably adding durability and armor to your gear and addles. adding 20 more armor to saddles , 30 more durability to weapons and 20 more armor and 30 dura for clothing - the saddle and clothing plate attachment can be broken in about 10-15 hits SPIKES: -increasing the damage output of your saddled creatures and weapons by 40 for the next 10 hits for example:creature/weapon with 145% melee goes to 185% Taming Process:to tame it you need to feed it any of the fuel items, the higher quality it is the better (they go by-oil<gasoline<sulfur<propellant<element shards) until it overcharges and knocks itself out.

Tamed: similar to the tropeao and andrewsarchus you can start riding the ankylorhiza right off the bat since it does nor require saddle to be used , after reaching level 87 you can finally make its battleship saddle that uses the rocket propelled grenades (RPG) ammo as a ammunition for the artillery . Actions: piercing bite (, , ): after hitting the target multiple times with this attack the prey would start releasing bloody clouds in the water providing nearby allied creatures with the “bloodlust” buff that increases their attack speed and damage , additionally this attack is great in harvesting large amounts of oil. ripping bite (, , ): with this attack you hold onto a creature preventing it from swimming away while ripping it apart dealing heavy damage , using this attack to harvest corpses would add to the ankylorhiza’s fat reserve bar naval artillery (Click C, , ):(saddle only) being able to fire the artillery turrets on the battleship saddle, you fire them by clicking the right mouse button ( only usable on the surface of the ocean) surface lock (Press Space, , ): locking onto the ocean‘s surface, being unable to dive down until pressed again , Passive Abilities: moving 50% faster when on the surface jellyfish immunity generating fat when harvesting corpses with the RMB( the fat bar points you get are determined by the corpse’s size) damage resistance percentage determined by the fat bar at the cost of speed 20 fat bar points:10% resistance,-10% speed 40 fbs :20% resistance,-20% speed 60fbs:30% resistance,-30% speed 80fbs:40% resistance,-40% speed 100fbs:50% resistance,-50%speed by hold “E” and then harvest you take out the fat bringing back the original resistance and speed , additionally you get a new type of meat called “whale fat” Whale fat meat: This is the highest quality meat , although it is not used for taming it provides a great health and stamina regeneration buff (has a consumption cooldown like the veggie cake). additionally babies to which this meat is being consistently given to mature 10% faster. battleship saddle: the saddle is not like the regular ones , it has waterproof rooms in it with unlimited oxygen and a dome for any dino companions , additionally you can place structures like bed, storages etc. the saddle have 3 artillery turrets on it , a see-through dome and a control center , when riding it you are on the top of the control room after dismounting you remain inside unlike the andrewsarchus or magmasaur.

Taming method: to tame it you must allow it to pin you down , and while it is injecting you with venom you can shove some meat down it's throat . it would eventually let you go after tamed Structure: a tunnel entrance (needs atleast two to function) that the ophiacodon could enter and dig it's way to the other entrance. -early version to the "tek teleporter" -cons compared to the tek teleporter : - you won't get to the other entrance momentarily but wait through a first person "loading screen" of the ophiacodon digging that could take up to 30 seconds depending on the distance -it's one person only unless your tribemates have other ophiacodon, in that case they can use the same tunel -Abilities- 1-(left mouse button) venomous bite , that inflicts a small amount of venom , it would take multiple bites for the venom to take effect. Once fully under the venom effect the target's sprinting and attacking speed would be reduced as well as the creature's stamina would be draining fast and regenerating slowly 2- (right mouse button) jaw trap, pinning smaller creatures down and slowly injecting them with the venom. 3- ("c" keyboard button) under ground digging , Similar to the basilisk's one with a few tweaks. It leaves a mud trail behind slowing creatures that step into it and it can launch out of the group stunning the creature and dismounting you (only the creature is stunned ' you can still run away) -passive abilities- 1- spino water buff. That improves - movement speed - damage output - health regeneration 2- slowly generating venom drops in it's inventory that can be later turned into a new type of elixir that drains the food of the creature that consumes it Saddle: unlock at level 73 Saddle abilities: can share the ophiacodon's oxygen during deep sea divings and while underground . Protects the rider from radiation
  4. the dino is really interesting and personally one of my top picks , the only drawback for me is the high maintenance and I really don't know if it's any good
  5. so far my favorite for this vote , I really like how it is able to drag knocked out creatures to safety but probably the biggest selling point for me is the tracking ability
  6. definitely a cool theropod , that is not based on how big are it's teeth but an actual useful dinosaur . it is unfortunate that it is getting hate only by the fact that is a carnivores dinosaur .
  7. I like the simplicity , it is a cool creature that definitely deserves have a place in ark
