  1. Found you, thought thats where you might be. Next to where the artifact of the skylord used to be.
  2. Ah your right.... google lies ! Yeah its 8hrs lol PST is currently not observed lol Its Pacific Time. Thought I was being smart asking google. We are the same here. We're observing BST rather than GMT at the moment.
  3. Not just England, but Britain ?Thats how you start a riot over here hahaha. 9 hrs by my calculations
  4. To be more precise I am north of the wall.... am up in Scotland. Which time zone are you in, I beleive Canada has a few ? Hopefully, am working at the weekend so will be on in the evenings if I am.
  5. I think I know where you mean, I'll need to explore round that area. Am in the GMT/BST timezone, usually on in the evenings.
  6. So you on the west coast then ? Anywhere near the artifact in the gorilla ruins or am I in the complete wrong spot ? If I am that way I shall keep an eye out for you or other people closeby, but I am trying to avoid blue ob if at all possible. Love the courtesy off thinking about other base locations for lag,I always worry about that when I set up a base, I dont want to annoy the locals lol Also if you need a hand setting up give me a shout if not no worries.
  7. After another brutal day at work was glad to chill out on Ark. Continued the base move shinanigans. Started of by going off on a organic poly run, harvesting up the matis in the desert in order to build my new industrial forge. Hit up the desert drops while I was at it and lucked out on an mc pump shotty bp (should be cheaper than my asc bp and better than my current mc bp) and an asc yuty saddle, and the deathworms were like 10 a penny so killed a few of them too. Got back to base and crafted up the forge and a few vaults. Then went on another metal run and another poly run to craft up even more vaults. 10 vaults might be enough but shall craft up more, cant have too many. All ready to install into the new base. Then I traded the neighbour for a breeding pair of bulbdogs. Been desperate for a lightpet on Ragnarok, its just so dark a lightpet would help alot. Would love to get my hands on shinehorn or maybe even a featherlight but bulbdog will have to do. Cost me a trip through the wyvern trench to grab alot of eggs. Not sure of the fate of most of the eggs. Not really sure if the trade was worth the trench run risk but honestly didnt really care was good fun. Also keep hoping to find a nice blue fire wyvern but never anyluck there. The game didnt even crash once tonight ! What a great evening hahaha
  8. Glad you liked it Dont worry I dont plan on building any castles. Our consoles can rest easy tonight lol
  9. Cant promise that ? Nah I'll try not to build to big. I blame the water pen, and also the lighthouse tower attached to it, cant of helped the crashes. Hopefully just the change in location will help lol
  10. Yeah your right there lol Ok I'll admit it, I am stubborn, dense and stupid ? Wasnt going to let some computer game get the better of me hahaha. While the original base location was not my first choice by any strech of the imagination it grew on me. Almost completly safe, great access to the basic resources and the water pen, it makes me sad
  11. Continued with the base relocation tonight, focusing with the main building. After a bit of fidgeting I finally got the orientation of the build to my liking and started building. Went with the same style as my last build but expanded the size of it. After tinkering around with the build I finally completed the main structure. Oh my God the view from the build is stunning, especially from the top floor, looking out down the valley to green obelisk. At the moment I am just using wood windows but I might have to consider proper greenhouse windows to get the full view. All I really need to do now for this building is furnish it out and install the balconys. As time went on it suddenly hit me, Ark actually has textures ! The xbox could actually hold a texture on a stone wall or wyvern. Am so glad to have decided to move. Also it suddenly hit me that with all my masterfull planning and organising abilities I had forgotten to pick a base location with easy access to water.... Great... thats going to be one heck of a pipe to provide water to an industrial cooker... a problem for another day ! Once I completed the building I flew back to the land of no textures and crashes (my current base). Grabbed the anky with my weight poison wyvern and went on a metal run. Going to need alot of metal to build the new industrial forge and all the other metal items and electrics I need to replace. Also I want to install vaults as my main form of storage in the new build. So I flew to the central canyons (my favourite metal spawn) and completely filled up the anky. Flew back to the land of no textures and crashes, and filled up the industrial forge. Switched on the forge and left it to do its thing. Last thing I did tonight was to start gathering more resources in anticipation of all the behomoth gates I'll need to build, to keep the local wildlife out of my new home.
  12. Yeah I am Northern Explorer. Glad I could offer you a safe place to crash lol. I found your starter shack by blue ob last night. That area is so bad lol last couple of nights been dashboarding multiple times and last night was the final straw for me. Was getting to point I could actually tell a crash was coming.
  13. Honestly cant do it anymore. The crashing is too much and getting worse. As much as it pains me I am deciding to up sticks and move my main base of operations away from nearby blue obelisk with the aim of moving as far away as possible from crash central. Hopefully itll just be a temporary move until that area is fixed.... not holding my breath... Still going to keep the base there for the green house, kibble barn and of course the water pen. It was so pretty and I put so much effort into it.... So I crafted up a shed load of building materials ready to put down once I have chosen a location. What I wouldnt give for S+ to pick up some parts of the build lol Decided not to go with the desert out post as my main base as it doesnt really have what I am looking for. Took the fire wyvern out exploring for a new place to settling down. I am wanting to set up some where central, relatively safe and with good access to the basic building materials such as wood and stone. Not a big fan of the redwoods, want to avoid the desert, and I didnt want to set up too near any wild wyverns, rock golems or gigas lol. Ideal location would be between green ob and the lesser of the snow biomes. I do like my temperate biomes lol. Of course all the usuall spots are taken but eventually I found a potential location near the bridge across the central canyons, at the head of the green obelisk valley. So I cleared out the location and marked out some potential main buildings with thatch foundations. Had to resort to using some cliff platforms to flatten out and expand some of the areas. Still not quiet happy with the orientation of the potential house but that will need further work. Marked out two stables, hoped one of them would be the new breeding barn but I need more space for it, probably going to be slightly down the hill. Thats all I could be bothered doing for the night.
  14. Finally got all the dinos on the kibble imprint list tamed up and in the kibble barn plus a few extra species such as the scorpion for taming rexes. Had an attempt at hatching out some colour mutated barys but no real luck. Got a health mutation which I kept. Only one colour mutation which was a lightish grey full body which i didnt keep. Finally lucked out on the thylo breding and got a breeding pair or white thylos with the good stats.
  15. Made quiet a bit of progress today. Finally built the green house at my base, put that off for way too long. Installed all the piping and crop plots. Afterwards went off to the desert and tamed up two 145 dung beetles and took them back to base. Finally went back for the megalosaurus I saw not far from my base a few nights ago. To my surprise it turned out to be a male 135 blue event coloured dino. Lured it to the taming raft to tame up. Now I finally have a pair of megalosaurs to make the kibble for theris. Cant wait to tame a theri, I am fed up with harvesting fiber by hand lol. Tamed up more dinos for the kibble barn. Tamed up a pair of ankys and a pair of terrors birds as well as 1 male and 2 female dimetrodons. My goodness i forgot how quickly the dimet topor drained lol. Finished off by hunting deathworms in the desert. Trying to get to level 89 so I can build an industrial cooker, am so close. Must need to kill one or two more deathworms and I am there but I ran out of time tonight for that. Hopefully tommorow night.
  16. Dashboarded 5 times tonight. Got to be a new record for me on this server. Heck going to give Ragnarok and Ark the benefit of the doubt this time and blame the current heatwave we're having.... Anyway started the first proper breeding project for me on the server, with barys and thylas. Spent most of the night trying to get the breeders with all the good stats from the wild tames as a breeding base line. Had @DJRone89 pop round by for a surpise visit half way through the breeding. First thing I knew about it was an ice wyvern tail in my face. "Huh thats a bit weird, I dont remeber owning an ice wyvern" lol. The first stage of bary breeding was easier than the thylos. Took a while to get the male. Started getting mutations too, was hoping to wait but oh well. I kept a bary with nice golden orange stripes(unfortunatly without the stats), but the one with black stripes had an 'accident' with a lightning wyvern, like alot of the others did. Forgot the joys of the red screen spam. Finally got lucky, in what must have been the 3rd or 4th batch of eggs, got one egg with triplets with the perfect combination of 1 male and 2 females with the perfect stats, and in the next egg the perfect stats again with a female. Thatll do for the barys just now. The previous generation shall probably be... er... disposed of at some point but they are safe just now. 1 even got relegated to the kibble barn as a guard dog. Thylos are still a bit problematic, I hate breeding mammals. Managed to get a female with all the good stats from the wilds so have 2 good females (wild female had all the good stats so is stil a breeder) but no luck with the male so far. Am being picky and I want the base breeders to have the white fur colour of the wild male. Didnt luck out with any white females but I got a male with everything but the hp so I rotated the white wild male out and used the new male as the stud. Still no luck after a few more attempts. While I waited for the barys to grow up I tamed more creatures for the kibble barn. Tamed up a female trike to go with the male I already have, a pair of turtles and a pair of lystros. Finished of with crafting a much needed batch of narcotics.
  17. Not much to say really, wasnt on for long. Jumped off the bird tower a few times to fly around the base using a glide suit. So much fun, was bassically moving some flyers back up to the bird cage and I decided to take the fun way down. Goal is to make it off the tower, over the water pen, round the lighthouse and back to the main base.... must have been bored if that was the highlight of the evening... Converted one of the padocks in the stables to a breeding pen. Then sat and watched the barys breed for a while so I could grab a few eggs. Would love to breed for some mutations. What I wouldnt give for one of these S+ egg collectors to pick up the eggs for me, they lose health way to fast to leave them for very long. Could collect up so many more eggs.
  18. Thank you ! All I can say is I am glad structure collision is disabled on the server haha For me the hardest part is lining up and sinking the foundations. Still isnt quite straight but its close enough, just dont look too closely at certain bits had to improvise in places. Been trying more complex buildings recently, got fed up with stone boxes. You should pop on to the server, I am having a blast on it. Feel free to pop round mines anytime, am based up near blue ob too. Never thought about the thumbs up button like that, explains a few 'weird' reactions I have seen. Now I see it like that I can not unsee it.
  19. I'll probably leave it as is at the moment. With plans to do more maybe and expand at some point. Kinda of planning to have a workshop and kitchen (fridges and cooker) downstairs and a spawnpoint/bedroom and storage for various bps and what not up the stairs. Plan to have the flyers separate in a purpose built tower avery close by. Thanks for the advice
  20. I dont know about that haha. You seen thylas ambusing out of trees ? I have had to pull of some crazy maneuvers to avoid thylas which had apparantly developed the ability of powered flight. Also microraptors technicallly shouldnt fly ? More of gliding no ? But then again I have seen microraptors do more than glide lol. No worries. its a nice cave to explore if you ever get the chance Reminds me of the drake trench in Aberration, very confined spaces and angry drakes/wyverns.
  21. Just a quick word of warning about the sourthern wyvern area. While the wyverns are in the area, the eggs only spawn inside the crystal cave. In my opinion anyway, its not a really ideal place to be nicking eggs especially with a griffin, not enough space to maneuver with the griffin and get the dive you need to gain speed. Maybe I am wrong and its easier than I think, but I much prefer nicking the eggs out the highlands.
  22. So I decided that I wanted to build a wee outpost in the desert biome of Ragnarok, so I set up shop in one of the ruins and incorporated tge ruins into the build attempting to keep the main features of the ruins intact. Never attempted a build quiet like this but I have been wanting to do this on Ragnarok for ages. Ragnarok seems to be full of these ruins which would be great to incorporate builds into. Finally finished the main structure tonight, think it came out ok but not quiet as well I would have liked. Still got some structural decorations to do such as the balcony to do and add railings to the stairs. Gone for an open plan type of build, but still deciding on if I would like to build in a few rooms especially on the top floor. Just need to furnish the build now. Havent quite decided what else I should build at this outpost, but at the very least I would like to build my greenhouse out here and maybe some dino stables. Heck maybe even another bird tower but I just hate the effort required to craft up adobe.
  23. Finally ! Success ! After last nights baryoynx taming antics I went on the hunt again for a high level female bary. After moving between the mud plains and the central canyons trying to force a spawn, I finally plucked a 140 female out of a brawl with what looked like some stegos and maybe a spino with my wyvern. Managed to get it back to the taming pen without the game crashing on me this time. Grabbed the ichyornis and went fishing for some prime fish meat and tamed up the bary. Now I can breed up some barys and thylos for doing stupid and reckless things with lol
  24. ABSOLUTELY FUMING. Had a bad day on ark after a bad day in general. Went out on the hunt for high level female thyla and baryonyx again tonight. Lucked out quickly on the thyla, found a 150 female in the south so got it back to base and tamed it up. Went back out on the hunt for the bary. Had a few hiccups, killing a 140 bary in a skirmish with an alpha raptor for example, but I finally found a 145 female blue event coloured bary in the central canyons and took it back to base to tame all pleased with myself. BUT OF COURSE Ark had other ideas and dashboarded me right outside my base, just beyond the perimeter wall. By the time I logged back in, the game finally decided where I was (I could see the bary attacking the wild trikes before it teleported me to where I actually was) and finnaly got back to where the bary was the trikes had of course killed the bary. I of course went on a bit of a murder rampage on the local wildlife with my ascendant pump shot gun, the trikes were the first to go, no animal was safe ! before logging of in a rage. I had had enough for the night. ABSOULTLY RAGING !!
