Not really, someone said this almost every crunch, this guy just got lucky. I agree with this, story wize get island-SE-abb-Ext-Gen1-2-A2 i personly like EXT the most out of all, but Gen 1 is starting to grow on me.

Poglin, missions outside map zone are two instances recently, changes to cryopod today to display color regions and be cleaner(amoung other things) taming UI, Homested update, any other integrated mod stuff(large examples being The Center, Ragnorock, Valagrue, Crystal Isles, I real like I’m forgetting one, is that just me?)

I-.... don’t wanna type this all again for a 100th time. *sigh* Ark was originally made by 15 people or so with meh experience at coding and development, and made in about 2 years I believe? Ark 2 I think we are going with 4 years before relese with 42 experienced developers who know what their doing, not only that, on a new platform, with more abilities and optimization. I believe ark 2 will have better graphics, less lag, less bugs after a bit of EA, and be developed quicker. Especially with a cleaner code.

First of, they never said to finish it, they said umm polish, I belive was the word, and two, they promised this before covid hit, which not only has the problems of worse internet, communication, worse computer systems, not being hooked up to the same network, and personal problems, cuz they are people. Not only is there an adjustment period till you can restart work, you will probably working at significantly lower effectiveness. Like 30% worse. Combine that with a mild persisting overestimation and the want to make their last, biggest DLC yet be high quality, and doing other large things like TLCs and events. And most likely the DLC with the most unique and complex creatures, abilities and environments(meaning it takes a loooong time to figure out how to make it do said abilities, providing lots of confusing roadblocks) and the largest map yet. So I think they have quite a good reason for delaying twice. A year in which a good chunk was taken away adjusting and they work at a lower efficiency. Also I wouldn’t call them excuses, I’d call the reasons.

Also someone said something about making ratholes earlier, I don’t think u realize most ratholes aren’t intentional, they are just weird places where static meshes have little gaps.

No one said PS wasn’t getting A2, just that it would initials relese on Xbox. It very likely is still coming to PS4/5 or whatever, Pretty standard really. jez, 5 pages in one crunch in less then 24 hours? I think that’s a record. Anyway, keep up the good work. As a tip, maybe continue the Gen chronicles with skins/items from the DLC or new info or something? Something to keep away the Salt.

Tamed a 150 direwolf I found. Storing in wooden pen for potential super breeding later. Then had to get off. Also, considered spawning in chibi enforcer, I really wanted that.

True , I just hate bugs, and literal constant Karpos. And code they says when you aren’t being attacked, to spawn a bug swarm nearby. Yeah, I may try that again first three times I spawned inside a wolf pack tho.. then again, might not play vanilla ark till Gen 2 release, having a good time playing glacius.

Arctic isn’t easy either, but I would say, likely more fun.

Don’t know if this counts, but I worked on a model for my mod, I have most of the animations done now, only need a few of the weird specialized attack ones that said dino cough*insect*cough needs. Soon I will be onto outing it into the game. In other news, I finally found a female argentavis. Now I have 7 imprinted argentavis. Time to look for high level ones now, or maybe get some allos, I’m not sure.. anyway, then I used my new birds to get lots of wood for fortifying my base with spike walls.(I live near a deadly area) then I went to look for otters with no luck... did see a spino tho, don’t think I brought enough tranqs for it, so I went home.I came back with more and a wolf to ride, but, it had despawned. Thumbs up for allos, hearts for high level breeding pair.
