(Official, Extinction) Fed dinos. Did a dust run. Uploaded dust. (Official, Valguero) Unpodded all the gachas I'm not using at the moment and bred them all (as well as the currently active one) to my only male gacha. Maybe with 4 gachas I would get a dust baby. Retrieved all the dust. Used 12 stacks to make a new, better enforcer, converted rest into element. Since replicator was on anyway, used it to make the shards I had into another piece of element. Took chibi to go on an alpha hunt, but found no alphas and the server turned out to be very disconnect-y today, so I brought the chibi back home and decided to hunt tek dinos nearby instead, but another disconnect happened, and turned out to be a server crash instead. So now I'll just have to wait and hope that it's not 14 hours like that one time. ... Server was only down for a short time, thankfully. After it came back up, did my tek dino hunt after all, made all the dust into shards, returned home, fed everything, unpodded Biters to get them all healed up (though I won't do a boss run too soon - no artifacts for now, and I'll need to make more basic kibble for Hamish for him to eat during the fight), waited for gacha babies, checked them and killed them because no dust again. And that's all for today.

(Official, Valguero) Went to the swamp to get skins and venom. Took longer than I wanted, because I intended to get at least 15 each, so I won't need more runs in the nearest future, and boas were mostly venomless. Fed dinos (only carnivores for now). Put all my cementing paste and obsidian into the fabricator and started crafting polymer - I want tek behemoth gate for my base, maybe some time later for my water pen, too, and I'm all out of polymer. Logged off for now. ... Built and installed behemoth tek gate. Spent some time flying in and out of it (it's not my first time walking through a tek gate, but it feels different when the gate belongs to me). Gathered rest of the tributes. Did a bossfight. Had to only use 17 rexes because some piece of raptor dung left their jerboa at the obelisk. Fight went fine, but loot was even worse than the first time: not only did I only get manticore's trophy again, but also only manticore's element. I mean, I still get something, 25 element is not bad! Just not nearly what I was supposed to get. Fed herbivores. Took mek for a bit of hunting, to take out my anger at greedy bosses by killing tek dinos which can always be trusted to give the proper amount of dust. Returned to the base, logged off.

(Official, Crystal Isles) Wanted to just refresh the base, but then went for an artifact run as well. Uploaded the artifacts. Headed home but saw a tropical wyvern. Only level 50, but very light in color (NearWhite with Glacial scales, DragonGreen3 fins and Dino Light Green highlights, as I learned after taming him and exporting his data to check with Smart Breeding). So I tamed him, despite having entirely too many crystal wyverns as it it, named him Silver, and uploaded him. (Official, Valguero) Retrieved the artifacts and Silver. Hunted some brontos and the only pack of allos I found to start accuulating the tributes again. Filled troughs. Unpodded Hamish, fed him to full, repodded him. Unpodded 20 Birds In A Trenchcoat and all the Biters so that they'll regain their health and (in the case of 20 Birds) shed their torpor during the night. Placed them near troughs, of course - I want them full and happy when it's time to repod them. And that's all for today.

(Official, Valguero) Altered the workshop so that I can have a tek replicator in there (well, on there. I made a place for it on the roof). Made some cryopods (10 too many), uploaded the excess as well as some greenhouse ceilings and owl pellets. Bred gasbags (baby good enough, kept) and gachas (no dust. Killed). (Official, Extinction) Retrieved pods, ceilings and pellets. Put 9 pods into the community fridge, and went with the last one, pellets and ceilings to Sunken Forest - to see if maybe I'll find a dust gacha in the wild. A disconnect happened as I was above the forest. I survived, though. Tried to build ladder tall enough that I'd be able to call my wyvern. Realized it won't work. Decided to make a box, put my things in, and jump off the ladder to respawn back home, but thanks to the lags I jumped off the ladder while I was climbing down to put my things in the box. Took argent, went back for my things and my wyvern. Retrieved all. Took down the ladder. Found a gacha, started feeding it rocks and hide to see what it can make, and then server crashed. Not exactly what I would call "a great day". ... The server got back. And had a rollback, so when I logged back on I was on a gate at the edge of Sunken Forest. And I missed some time, so my body decayed. Got my wyvern, destroyed the foundation with ladder again, led the argent home, made new armor, spyglass, water jar, and two metal hatchets, had to take one of the 9 pods I left in public fridge because I'm NOT going through the whole "Log off Ext, on to Valg, upload pod, log off Valg, on to Ext, download pod" again. Went to Sunken forest. Tamed a gacha. No dust. killed. Tamed a gacha. No dust. Killed. Tamed, checked, killed. Like, 12 times at least. Got tired, so when the last one tamed, a 150 female, turned out to be a black pearl one, I sighed, podded her, and went to upload. Yeah, no dust. But at least also a rare resource, and with better base crafting skill than the one I have on Valg. After that killed a 145 enforcer for its BP, did a dust run, uploaded dust and the enforcer, and logged off. just have to get all that stuff back on Valg, and that'll be all for today. ... (Official, Valguero) As I was flying to green ob to retrieve all the uploaded stuff, I saw an abandoned base crumbling into nothing. After quickly checking that there's nobody around (because if there was someone, I'd let them have the loot instead), I went looking through bags. Found there several stacks of element and a mining drill. Took that. Then continued my way to the obelisk, downloaded the enforcer BP, podded gacha, and dust, and went home. There I did what any unreasonable player would: immediately crafted a mek. I named it Slayer, painted it cyan and black, and took it for a bit of hunting. I didn't give it a lot of element, though - just 10 pieces, and I didn't even spend all of it. Only, like, 4. It turned out to be good at harvesting meat. Pretty good at getting element dust out of tek dinos, too. And the ability to "fly" if fun. But all in all it's inferior to my gigas when it comes to damage and toughness, and doesn't quite have the mobility of managarmrs or wyverns. Plus it's expensive to keep. So, I podded it. I'll bring it out occasionally when I'm in the mood to ride a cool big battle robot, but that's all. Mining drill, on the other hand, turned out to be quite a great thing. It really does get plenty of resources, especially crystal. I'll be using that. Fed dinos, logged off.

(Official, Valguero) Leveled and healed the last batch of rexes, grabbed all the stuff needed, and did the gamma boss fight. Went grrreat! Manticore got clever, though: only did short landings after it realized how strong Biters are. And wiki says I'm supposed to get 90 element and a head of each boss, but I got 50, and, for some reason, 2 manticore heads, no heads of either Megapithecus or Dragon. Managed to find a moment to get dragon's dermis, though. All rexes alive, yuty and pig too.

(Official, Valguero) Topaz Thorn is adult now. And beautiful. And strong, too! Uploaded some kibble, narcotic and tranq darts. (Official, Extinction) Retrieved narcotic, kibble, and tranq darts and went to tame a good gasbags, because seriously, my low-levels are cool, but 100+ would be MUCH cooler. Found a 140 male! Brown, but that doesn't matter. So I shot him. And I killed corrupted dinos around him. And chased him. And shot him again. And killed corrupted dinos again. Finally, he dropped. A corrupted stego attacked, ruining effectiveness and leaving him with less than 200 health. So I stayed by him, protecting him from danger, waiting for him to get hungry enough. A corrupted ptera knocked him below 100. But finally he was hungry enough, and I gave him kibble, and it turned out I was one piece short. Had to give him mejo to finish the tame. I named him Muffin. His highest stat is, unfortunately, melee. He has 4500 weight. I podded him and uploaded him. (Official, Valguero) Retrieved Muffin. Did a meatrun, put most of it into the rex troughs, and a bit into Pale Shadow's inventory, so that once he's adult he'll have something to eat - I realized I don't like seeing a freshly grown up wyvern being hungry. Put a medium taxidermy base on the roof, and on it placed the drmis of the jerboa I wanted to tame but accidentally killed - it's cyan with blue belly.

(Official, Valguero) Frozen Soul is adult now. Leveled her a bit. Unpodded Topaz Thorn and Pale Shadow. Saddled up and podded 2 adult Biters, put saddles into the inventories of nearly adult ones, did a meatrun, and unpodded the adult Biters from the previous batches to level their health and heal them up. Once they're full, I'll pod them back up so that they can get more Exp for the melee. So that's: 10 adult rexes (2 in the fridge, gaining Exp), 3 nearly grown, and 5 juvies. ... Adult rexes: all healed and repodded. Wyverns: 20 hours worth of food, but only about 8 until adulthood. Juvi rexes: imprinted. Troughs: refilled. Ammo for the shotgun: made, 200. Stimulants: ready. Food: made, in the fridge. So, once the remaining rexes are grown, saddled, leveled, and healed to the max, I'll be ready to die to the bosses (or kill the bosses. It's like 50/50).

(Official, Valguero) Unpodded rexes and wyverns. Since 20 Birds is adult now, saddled her and went for some leveling: she now has 10000 health and a bit over 2000 stamina. Fed the black pearl gacha. Spent some time collecting crystals. Imprinted rexes. Bred gachas. Went for milk... And lost Lettuce to a pair of ice wyverns. The 185 male of the pair was smart, caught me from the side, and then they took turns freezing Lettuce, preventing our escape. Sad, but I still needed milk (and my deathbag), so I unpodded Bat: the fully imprinted blood wyvern with 7000 health. I put points into her stats until 10000 health and around 1000 stam, and went back to the trench. Got my things, got my milk, and returned to the base. Bat will be my new milk-runner. (Official, Extinction) Fed dinos, did a dust run and uploaded the dust. (Official, Valguero) Retrieved dust. Did another milk run. Stole and ate (intentionally) a level 20 ice egg. Oldest biters nearly adult, put saddles into their inventories. Once they're grown, I'll saddle them up, pod them, refill troughs, and that'd be all for today.

(Official, Crystal Isles) Refreshed base. (Official, Valguero) Same as the last few days: unpodded things. Meatrun. Milk run. Imprinting. All biters juvi or above now. Frozen Soul fully imprinted. Giga eggs hatching soon. Bred rexes, but got distracted and missed eggs. ... Topaz Thorn fully imprinted. Gigas hatched, nothing good. Bred two oldest Biters to my breeder male to get 2 more biters. hatched eggs, podded babies. Did another milk run, fed wyverns (yes, i do them too often. But those are my first non-crystal wyverns!). Podded everything except for oldest two biters, yuty, argent and gacha (3% until adult. Plenty of food in the trough. She'll be fine). Logged off. ... (Singleplayer, Valguero) Removed all mods. Reset settings. Spawned 7 rexes with stats close to what my future army on (Official, Valguero) has, leveled them closely to what my rexes on official will have. Spawned a yuty and a daeo, also close as possible to what i have on official. Saddles for them all, again, just like what I have on off. And did a test run. it went fine, but I forgot to disable creative mode, so I don't know how good I'm at keeping the yuty out of trouble, as it was invulnerable, so now I'll do a second run, now with creative mode off. Second test run 1: not all rexes got into the circle. Daeo stayed out too. Died to a dimorpho. Things that DID get in there with me disappeared. Second test run, proper one: spawned in some rexes, same level as others, so they'd be about right (but the number was still below 18), and a yuty, again, about same as what I have. Leveled yuty, but not the rexes. Went in. Lost some rexes to the dragon, but rest survived. Yuty fell asleep, but monkey was dead by then and manticore hovered, so I just mounted a rex (note to self: take some stimulant into the actual battle!!!). Aside form that - went fine. And since it went fine like that, I think that what I'll have on official will be good enough to survive, maybe even with no deaths. ... (Official, Valguero) Again. Unpodded. Meatrun. Imprints. Milk run. Gacha grew up, I even already got some crystals from her. 20 Birds In A Trenchcoat is nearly adult now, placed saddle in her inventory. 2 more Biters adult, bred them. At the moment I have 15 rexes, just need three more. Added them all to a group to make sure there's absolutely no problem with control during the battle. Argent adult, he'll be the breeder now, Liam leveled, saddled up and uploaded, I'll be using him on (Official, Extinction) - with 3000 weight he'll be a much better bird for dust runs - doed that I sent there earlier gets a lot of it and other resources, and while I know that after the event it'll be much less, still more weight will improve things greatly. Once all eggs currently in the hatchery hatch, I'll pod whatever's good from them and everything that won't survive the night on its own, log onto (Official, Extinction) real quick to feed dinos and retrieve argent, and then that'll be all for today.

(Official, Valguero) Bred rexes, argents and wyverns. Gonna breed gachas, too. Unpodded ice wyverns for more raising, did a milk run. Unpodded gacha to finish raising her because, well, it's a black pearl gacha. Better to have that ready. Yesterdays argent eggs hatched - 1 mutation (but on food. And ugly), 1 male (but father's leg color, I don't need that). Yuty fully imprinted now. Installed a second baby fridge for biters specifically (well, and for current yuty and any future yuties). Unpodded and killed some babies that I'm definitely not gonna finish raising. ... 2 more Biters! That makes it 11 total, with 9 growing at the moment. Things are going great so far. Ice wyverns growing fine too, and the crystal ones are nearly adult. ... Finally! A male argent with Sapphire's dark blue AND her dark gray legs. I'll raise him (later, though - right now I'm a bit busy with all the rexes, and the wyverns, and everything) and he'll replace Liam as my breeder male. Also, on a different argy happened another mutation: dark violet on underside (bleh) and, again, it's on food. Killed, of course. ... Went to get more milk. Came home with milk and a 190 ice egg. ... Wyvern hatched. Male. Colors nothing special: BigFoot4 on main, Dino Light Blue on belly, Dino Light Purple on back. Fits my preference for icy colors for ice wyverns, but more blue and no brown would have been better. But hey! Now that I realized that I'm fine doing egg runs and milk runs, I can just keep kidnapping wyverns until I get the colors I want for breeding. Stam pretty good: 897.8. Melee - 282.2. Health - 5560.5. Weight - 648. So, a nice usable wyvern. High food, enough that he'll be able to eat on is own. That's good. Podded him, the 150 (named him Topaz Thorn) and Frozen Soul. Podded Biters except for two oldest. Podded gacha. Picked up eggs. Put saddles into the inventories of the oldest Biters. Logged off. ... Remembered that I bred gachas. Well, either I'll remember about it in an hour or so, or it'll be a dead gacha. But it probably wouldn't be a good one either way, so doesn't really matter. ... Unpodded biters and wyverns, as well as the gacha and the future new argy breeder. Podded all crystal wyverns except for Dracula, Apocalypse and Lettuce - the ones I actually use. Raised youngest biters and the argy until they could survive without me constantly watching over them. Did a milk run because Frozen Soul demanded milk for imprint and I decided that rather than rerolling I should just get her what she wants (nearly lost Lettuce to a 170 male Ice - damn thing caught me with its breath, robing Lettuce of his only advantage: speed). Oldest biters nearly adult now. Second oldest fully imprinted. ... Oldest two grew fully. Saddled both up. Leveled one partially by killing things, got her to over 25 thousand health and over 600% melee, just to see how good she (and by extension the rest of my biters) will be. Podded her and the other one then, to let them get more exp passively. Podded all biters ecept the two fully imprinted juvies. Podded wyverns (after feeding them the milk still in their inventories), Podded gacha. Refilled trough. Picked up giga eggs. Logged off.

Just a look. A quick peek. Things kinda escalated. Accidentally did my first ever egg run (outside of singleplayer). Have 2 ice wyvern eggs in the hatchery now. Levels 20 and 95, but still. Hope the colors are nice (by nice I mean, like, white or light blue, or something. I like wyvern colors to match their element). Also, as I was flying away from the trench, spotted a very dark argent. Only level 50, but dark-dark-dark! Black and gray, mostly gray, but looks pretty much black. Tamed her. Named her Nightmare Shadow. She'll join the ranks of my breeder argies - can't wait to get some argies with her good looks and other argents' good stats! ... Decided that since I'm adamant about doing (at least trying) bossfight as soon as I have enough rexes (though judging by soem videos of Valg gamma bossfight with rexes, mine will do fine as long as I'm not too much of an idiot), I'll need a way to get element in a way that doesn't involve bosses. So I overcame my fear of server transfers and hopped over to an Ext server for unstable elem engrams. And the rest of Ext engrams, because why not. Things went fine. The Ext server lagged a bit while I was transferring out, scared the hell out of me, but I got back to Valg juuuuust fine. And since I'm not planning on using mindwipe tonic EVER again, I won't need to jump servers for engrams again. Immediately made all full stacks in my dust vault into unstable element. Later will send one of my doeds to my (Official, Extinction) side-base so that I'll be able to get more dust from there. ... Level 20 egg hatched. Female, WyvernBlue0 and WyvernPurple1, so, light, cold colors. Named her Aurora and will do my best to raise her. ... 95 hatched, also female, also light colored, but back is blue. Named Frozen Soul. ... Decided to do a second egg run. Got a 150! But Aurora starved while I was away - turned out normal wyverns lose food a lot faster than crystal ones. Will have to watch Frozen Soul and whatever hatches form the 150 closely. ... Did my first ever milk run (podded Frozen Soul and picked up the egg first: I don't need any more dead wyverns!). Went fine: there was a public wyvern trap with behemoth tek gates, so my crystal wyvern was able to fly through it just fine. First accidentally got a female and a male trapped, tried to kill the male and killed both, but on second try managed to get a level 25 female trapped. Knocked her out quickly, got milk, went back to the base... And a disconnect happened. Thankfully, I ended up alive, but I had to get to the base on foot because the wyvern was hovering too high up to whistle even with a spyglass. And all the milk was on him. Yeah. But I managed to get him, and I unpodded and fed Frozen Soul, an made some preserving salt to keep the rest of milk longer. I'm actually getting kinda tired now, but I want to hatch the 150 today. Also! The oldest two "Biters" are fully imprinted, younger two are halfway there, and form the last batch of eggs hatched 4 (four!) rexes got the highest stats, so that's 4 more rexes for my army. Things are going gooood. ... 150 hatched. Body and belly turquoise, back peach. Not the colors I'd want from an ice wyvern (it's more of a tropical coloration), but surprisingly good-looking. No stat below 20, highest - weight (28 points). Podded him, Frozen Soul, yuty and the younget 2 Biters. Older Biters and crystal wyverns are staying out. Picked up eggs. Logged off.

(Official, Valguero) Fed dinos. Bred rexes and argies. (Official, Crystal Isles) Tried to get Devourer and Pack artifacts, but didn't find them. (Official, Valguero) Claimed rexes and argies. Killed argies because all father's colors. Kept two rexes with father's stats, named both Biter. And... You see where this is going, yes? The plan is to hatch, and keep, and raise with full imprint 17 more "Biters". Because I realized that if I keep waiting for 400% melee, I'll never get to use my rexes at all. So, sure, I'll keep trying, but in the meantime I'll get an army of 372.8%-s. And I'll make saddles for them (16 already done). And I'll try to do gamma boss fight. 20 Birds In A Trenchcoat will have to be the yuty for it, I'll give her a good saddle, and as much imprint as I can, and I'll level her health a lot, to make sure that everything would at least have a chance of being alright. Also, bred tropicals (female, mother's colors, kept). And a giga hatched (female, dad's melee, kept). ... (Still Official, Valguero) Podded yuties, rexes, allo and the youngest wyvern. Argies left out because they'll be fine and older wyverns - because I'm curious if they'll be fine. (Official, Crystal Isles) With a GPS (that I sent myself form Valguero, as CI base isn't equipped to craft that) and the artifact coords written down, I found them. I got them. I was flying to get them to a drop or an obelisk so that I can upload them. Server crashed. Well, at least I now know where to look, so next time it'll be easier to get them. And I was flying high, so my wyvern probably won't try to land, and I'll be able to retrieve him later. And that's enough ARK for today. *Oops! Not enough ARK for today. Gotta check on (Official, Extinction). THEN It'll be "enough ARK for today". ... (Official, Crystal Isles) Since I woke up anyway, decided to check how things are there. The rollback that made me and my wyvern end up low above one of the floating islands instead of high above Fire Swamp was expected - normal thing after a crash. The sound that greeted me in the moments before the loading screen turns into, well, whatever is actually happening in the game, however, was not. It was the sound of wings. Of a wyvern. My wyvern. On whose back I was standing. I repeat: I logged on after a server crash that would have normally caused me to plummet to my death STANDING ON MY WYVERN'S BACK. Awesome. ... (Official, Valguero) Retrieved artifacts. So, I have saddles, I have tributes and artifacts, I have a set of armor I'll wear, and I have custom recipes for food I'll take with me. Just gotta hatch and raise my army, level it, and I'll be ready. Speaking of army: bred rexes again - 2 more Biters. Also: wyverns were fine. All grown. Bred wyverns, got a mutation! On a blood. Vermillion on main. But, unfortunately, oxygen, so killed. Out of the others I kept three with highest food stat, got them out of hatchery, and left them there to grow by themselves. Oh, and argents! They grew, and I put them and the older ones in a neat little row. And I already bred them, but, unfortunately, all babies were female, and I don't need any more of that, so I kept one with Sophani's colors and killed the rest. Did a metal run, and an obsidian run. Made a ton of cementing paste. And that's all for now. Wow. it was a whole lot of ARK. ... Oh! Forgot another thing: the last missing dimorph returned. So, my swarm is all there, all alive. Cool.

(Official, Valguero) Fed dinos. Bred gigas, rexes, allos, argies, gasbags, basilos, and mammoths. Put eggs in the hatchery. Unpodded argies, gacha, yuties and wyverns for more raising. Argy hatched - bad. Dad's colors, which are ugly. Killed. Allo hatched - full black (I mean, that's the only outcome, but he got mom's Actual Black back instead of dad's Black back, so he's the better kind of full black), mom's stats, male. So once he's grown I'll be able to REALLY start breeding allos. Rexes hatched without new mutations. Wyvern hatched with mom's stats. So, killed. Put on a chibi and went alpha hunting with Phobos, but saw an argent. 135. Female. Full event colors (Powder Blue main, Cyan wingtips, Light Pink underside. Head top and legs, unfortunately, cream, but that can be fixed with some breeding). Had to return to the base to grab the taming supplies. Tamed her, named her Sophani (because colors reminded me of Sophani's Offspring dragon from Dragon's Prophet). Mammoth born, female, dad's stats, brown belly, but aside from that gray/near black, so that's good. Keeping her. Gasbags born, missed. Wasn't any good anyway, so no big loss. Basilos born - twins! Kept both. Bred Sophani to Liam, and got an argy with her colors (at least most of them. Forgot to check wingtips) and health and his weight. Don't remember whether male or female, but either way, great for first try. Also, the missing dimorphodons (except for one) returned. Great. Podded most things (except for three oldest argies) and logged off. Pretty good day.

(Official, Extinction) Fed dinos. (Official, Crystal Isles) Went to check the amount of crystals on the wyverns, and spotted a level 15 male near base. Nicely colored (Far as I can tell without exporting or podding - 59 on regions 0 and 2, 51 on 4, and 7 on 5). Tamed. Named him Mint Candy. He'll be my new CI secondary wyvern, and my previous one, BeautyButNoBrains, went to (Official, Valguero) in case I'll want to breed tropicals at some point. (Official, Valguero) Retrieved the wyvern, exported and then podded her, fed dinos, bred rexes and gigas, put eggs in the fridge, repaired two SCUBA tanks and went crate hunting. No good loot save for a 90-something tuso saddle (no plans on ever getting tusos. Into the grinder it'll go) and a 95 yuty saddle (will keep just in case - I have a yuty BP from which I can make even better than that, but it's damn expensive). Oh, and APPRENTICE riot boots with 300-something armor and over 400 durability. Didn't know Apprentice quality items can be that great. And that's all for today.

Seagulls don't aggro on basilos. As for piranhas and gators - maybe build it the way mine is? With a bit of a wall on the "land" side for anything that can come from there, and spikewalls along the bottom to cover any hole fish could come through.

(Official, Valguero) Fed dinos. Found one of the missing dimorphs. Spent some time flying around on my owl, enjoying how smoothly the game runs and wondering why I haven't thought or closing the browser before starting ARK in the WHOLE TIME I PLAYED ARK BEFORE - so much stutters could have been avoided! Spotted an alpha rex stuck on some rocks, went to the base for my velona. Killed the rex. It took 1 full stam bar and about 4/5 of it after a bit of rest. That's fast. Logged off.

(Official, Extinction) Fed dinos. (Official, Crystal Isles) Refreshed base. Also, googled the error from my PC's crash yesterday - seems like might be a memory thing, so decided to close browser before playing ARK from now on... And it turns out loading times don't suck, actually. They so don't suck, that it took me seconds (Seconds!) to enter Ext, and then seconds to exit it, and entering Crystal Isles was even faster. That's great, actually.

I don't know. I don't have experience with ocean platforms (no Genesis), so maybe they glitched, maybe it was something else. My own water pen is built on pillars, ceilings on them and walls on both sides extended as low as the rather uneven bottom of the lake allowed me. Never had any problems with dinos escaping it (they're not on wander).

I do use cryopods! Just not for everything: some things (rexes, yuties, female giga) have to stay out because I'm breeding them, and also because eggs. And some have to stay out because they're in use. And some - because their looks are the point (only, or main) of their existence, so they must be visible. And three more also must be visible, not because looks, but because they're my oldest dinos and I'm proud of keeping them alive for so long. And then there's my basilos, they're rarely in use, but keeping them in a pen is more convenient that flying to the shore with a podded basilo, and then either taking the flyer with me podded (but something might happen to me in the Abyss) or leaving it on the shore and hoping the spot I picked is safe enough (and it may not be). And then there's unicorns: looks are the main point, sometimes in use, and last time I checked unpodding a unicorn destroyed the pod, so feeding them is literally less expensive than podding them and letting them out only when needed. And on the side bases I don't use pods because I'm keeping things low-tech there, as side bases are just for getting some resources/tames, and I'd rather not put too much effort and resources into them (also, it gives me extra reason to refresh them regularly, ensuring their continued existence).

(Official, Valguero) Fed dinos. Bred rexes and gigas. Put eggs, old and new, in the hatchery (and that's a lot of eggs: 20 tek rex, 4 giga), unpodded juvi yuties and argents. Wanted to make some narcoric, so unpodded the bronto, but didn't feel like carrying all the berries to the workshop and then possibly doing another run and carrying more berries, so decided to build a few foundations with a chem bench on her saddle. Things got out of hand. Accidentally built a whole house, with windows, railings, and lamps. Whistled dimorphs (bronto is mostly leveled in speed, she's not good at fighting off whatever might attack), put all the spoiled meat into bronto's chem bench and went to get the berries. Harvesting and crafting went fine. Made plenty of narcotic. Some dimorphs got lost, though. Tried to look for them, but no such luck. Whatever, the remaining ones have both males and females, so if I'll need more I can make more. Now just waiting for rexes to hatch. ... Rexes hatched. Rexes killed because no new health or melee mutations AGAIN. Picked up giga eggs, podded some of argents and yuties (when was podding an argy, game crashed and right afterwards computer reloaded due to error. While this only ever happened for a second time, I'm still starting to worry a bit). Podded rest of the argies, put them in the fridge, logged off.

(Official, Valguero) Took all my grenades. Took my max damage composite bow. Made 141 flaming arrow. And two good gasmasks. And with all of that I hopped onto Phobos and went to the Lair. There was, fortunately, only one Broodmother there, so I dismounted, put on a gasmask just in case, and started to throw grenades and shoot arrows, occasionally looking through spyglass for signs of damage. By the time I had 9 arrows and no grenades left, there actually were signs of damage! A few tiniest scratches. So I shot remaining arrows, remounted and went in. After a whole lot of biting the Broodmother was dead. Phobos didn't even lose too much health - less than one third of it, pretty good result for fighting something so strong. Unfortunately, the game is a bit crashy today, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to get my brand new Spider flag to the base, but the fact is I killed the big arachnid and I did pretty well. ... Got to the base, installed the flag on my house's roof, fed dinos. Now just need to feed dinos on (Official, Extinction) and refresh base on (Official, Crystal Isles), and that'll be all for today.

(Official, Valguero) Whistled all dimorphodons, old and new, to follow Scream (yuty) and took them all to the Beaver Lake. There we killed a bunch of things. Dimorphs shredded everything, me and Scream barely had to help. So, great. Poweful. Probably will end up podding them and never using them again, though: "Where the hell are my other three idiots?!" is not a problem I'm used to dealing with, and I wouldn't exactly call it an exciting new experience. Better just breed a yuty that can handle things well enough on its own. Fed dinos, logged off.

(Official, Valguero) Fed dinos. unpodded dimorphs, yuties (2 older ones), mantis, argents and a featherlight for some raising. Made some gunpowder. Found that previously non-working half of the stairs to my kitchen/greenhouse now works. But the last ramp of the tek rex breeding stand doesn't. Weird. Some kinda wandering invisible wall, which is even stranger than a non-wandering invisible wall. Once the last dimorph is imprinted, I'll repod everything except for the dimorphodons, and that'll be all for today.

(Official, Valguero) Logged on, fed dinos, bred gigas and rexes, went to put eggs into the fridge, discovered the there's some sorta invisible wall now on the stairs to my greenhouse/kitchen's entrance, even though just yesterday it was fine., so had to take down a wall nearby and put new stairs there (old ones left for symmetry's sake, but near them is a sign noting that they're non-functional, so that I don't keep trying to use them out of habit). New entrance works fine. Grape the lymantria is adult, alive, I took saddle off Halloween and put it on Grape. Took ingots out of the forge and into the vault. And that's all for today.
