1) We cant upload or dl via drops in SP. Also, if u want to say.. do island bosses brood is at green, ape at blue dragon at red. Its stupid. 2) Theres two griff attacks, the ground pound which is just head face first into the ground and the swoop claw (most dmg) i just use right trigger but the trick is to be in 'woosh' animation as you fly past said dino you attack. Ill often do ariel battles with griffins, you only need to be in woosh animation to hit. The trickiest part is staying in animation while flying past not hitting ground. How do you fly on griffin if you are going long distance? Think of it as a glider and constantly go down and up 3) I havent figured either.. i bet it only works on dodos, light pets and dilos 4) 76.

No worries! They are small, fit in every cave. Any cave with water it double owns. It sits high enough so artho cant spit at your character and its hitbox is so that you can get a nice long range bite and also go face first into most medium-large dinos so your dimorph on shoulder (on attack target or agressive) can also hit. I suggest a pure melee one. If theres any fish near by, the bary will heal up super quick aswell. Not to derail too much, just did another alpha ape and starting my better theriz today. Going to use them for dragon and possibly drag+manti on rag

If you nab some good level Baryonyx caving will be a butt load easier Theyre the ultimate island caver

Since ive gotten to the point where i can finally start making some Tek my first point of action when i logged in was to breed a few ankys (got triplets 2f 1m with my good stats) and to place a few ankys around the map to make the mass amount of resources farming easier. Took an old anky and an argy to obsidian cave. I already have a spawn box there but an anky will pump up obsodian production. Nabbed my argy that was sitting on canyon top on my way by, dropped off the anky and filled my 2nd argy with obsidian (did i mention i love the argy tlc??) Theres a good crystal spawn near on lava, got about 1k crystal then made my way to beaver paradise. Almost died looting some dams, argys were on neutral lol. When i got home I made all the poly (around 1k hard poly) and threw together 2x tek dino gates, a tek rifle, tek boots and a few tek foundations / ceilings. The tek gun was very disapointing. Im running low on element, ill do another alpha monkey tomorrow morning and then im plum out of artifacts and tributes. I also need to farm more cakes and start on my improved theriz line. Every day I log in i breed my rexs and best theriz, so im sitting on a good stockpile of fert eggs

Awesome stats when you combine 10k hp 2.5stam 400 melee! Great start to bosses! Today was productive. Started off hatching 5 theriz eggs, finally got my 8k hp and 343 melee to combine and into a breeding pair at that! The other 3 theriz werent special. Sitting at 16 theriz now (not including the new breeders and the newborns) so i went out to farm a bunch of tribute items. I had some saved up but needed thylo claws and more theriz claws, ive done gamma and beta brood and with my new theriz crew complete (2nd gen, next gen will be for better bosses) i plan to do gamma and beta monkey plus a redemption beta brood haha. Ive been making cakes, saddles and farming loads of mats every week night the last week in prep for the bosses. A few hours later i had enough for all 3, went to base and farmed up another 4 mc theriz saddles, got my (now) 18 theriz and threw them in the ob. Loaded up SP island and hit up some.artifacts, im glad i spent the time to put spawns at every easy one. After a long havoc filled recovery i had enough artifacts for 3 ape runs (and my leftover for another brood.) Med brood was ezmode this time, 3 megatherium for adds, 1 yuty ridden and 16 theriz. Only used one cake per theriz. Loaded em all back up into ob (ugh time consuming) and travelled to blue ob, with some fur, a bed and all the extra bits. Set up for gamma ape, knocked him out easily. Feeling confident with my setup i rearranged and after a pig heal went right into beta ape. My plan was the same as gamma, left the 19 theriz at the spawn and lured the ape to them with the yuty. This one was a little harder, got my 20k yuty down to 10k because i was dumb and didnt avoid a few rocks :p Only used a cake per theriz! Now im really feeling confident, set up again (heal, rearrange etc.. there has to be a better way ><) my pig went through all my food so had to do a quick meat run and a few derenders to get everything healed up without wasting cakes. Went right into alpha ape. Same as before, except this time i wanted to shoot it in the face with my auto rifle.. that didnt go so well. Luckily i had 500 hp because i didnt realize he is a lot faster lol. He sniped me with a rock as i hopped off yuty. Gathered them all up and aftrr a long battle he went down. This one was a lot closer. Used all my cakes and my yuty almost died from.rocks. Theres not much dodging room on the small area. I had almost 200 element now and everything ready for a replicator on rag. I couldnt find a good way to gift the engrams, wouldnt let me summon bosses either so i just admin'd the engram, then hauled everything to obby to built the replicator. Popcorned all the element on island and spawned in the same amount on Rag. Made my replicator and placed it on the upper part of my building. I plan to convert my base slowly to metal, with tek doors. I had enough pearls and poly leftover to make a tek dino gate, this thing is great Im going to have to figure out a way to get these engrams permanent on this guy. Im thinking i might rehost my nitrado server to island but not sure yet. It just feels really cheaty to have to do all this admin summoning stuff to cross ark.

Love your open design of base! Where is it located? Looks like its on fertile river. Also tech railings and metal floors? Looks good

Fair enough, ive gotten used to griffin taming now and i hate chasing quetz with a quetz so it works for me Good luck on that easter giga!! Is it down by lake vogues? (Near Green ob lake) if so, that small river leading to it is great with 2 dino gates for a giga trap! Tamed many there on my last server!

Ill give u an easy quetz tip.. use griffin and if theyre near canyon, each time u shoot the Q it will fly directly away from where u shot, shoot it towards green ob, itnwill eithrr get stuck on canyon walls or go to ice lake and get stuck on the wall there. Somrthing about quetz paths on rag

Had a few hours to play last night. Started off by hatching 3 theriz eggs. While i was letting them mature a bit, made a couple broths of enlightenment and hit the grinder. Managed to get 89, tonight ill hit 90 for that damn cooker! After the theriz hit juvi I took 2 argys and flew towards my metal outpost in Desert metal cave. Already had almost a forge of ingots there to bring back, loaded up one argy with those and mined up another forge full quickly. As that was cooking I did a big fly around getting obsidian, oil from a few pumps i got near by and made a thousand gas. Loaded up the genny at metal base, loaded the other argy with obsidian and ingots and made the long fly back. When i got back, loaded all my ingots into a vault, turned all my ob i to poly and gathered my good bred bary, an extra argy and a premade small base to bring to viking bay for a small black pearl outpost. Got there and threw up a small base on a rock then took off into the water with bary to kill some swimmer scorps Managed to get 70 black pearls, pretty damn good for a start if i do say so myself. Bed teleported back to base to imprint theriz and do an inventory on mats. Tonight im building an indy cooker and hopefully next weekend a tek replicator. Pending a few successful boss runs. Only sitting on 35 or so element, so im going to set up a few artifact outposts on island and farm a bunch of tributes on rag. Continuing with Theriz programme. Currently sitting back up to around 15 theriz. Got 5 theriz eggs, 6x rex eggs, 2x argy eggs and 2x bary eggs ill be hatching tonight if i can get time to play

Short day today. Still in prep mode for more bosses next weekend. Hatched two more Theriz today, grinded out 5 MC theriz saddles, grinded (in grinder) a vault of wood while filling up other vaults with mats. Trying to get 90 for cooker. Made 25 veggie cakes.. i need that damn cooker lol.

I was under the impression that Aberrant Megalos dont suffer any sleep debt even on island? I havent actually tested myself but is it the map that affects it or a hardcoded difference? (Since there is day on ab, they work on surface during day) Didnt do much last night, hatched 3 theri eggs, one with almost all stats. Hopefully ill get the 8khp and 340 melee to combine for some decent medium bossers

Didnt do much last night, only got to log in and feed dinos. Was thinking of hatching a bunch of theriz.. but ill (hopefully) do that tonight. I need to make more saddles too. Lost 2 mc theriz saddles (4k hide, 2k fiber, 800 ingots 1.4k wood each) ill.probably do that while i hand feed. Ive developed a new love for the Chainsaw. I never used one before this playthrough and I have an Asc one at that. 1k hide per bronto.. going on a killing spree after work.

Started off today hatching a Yuty on Rag, got twins. Bad stats but good enough for some easy bosses. Sent over a bary, yuty to obelisk and hopped onto The Island to start my green ob boss base. I was going for an easy enclosed structure, with a ramp down to obelisk platform. I had almost 30 behemoth gate sets premade, after a lot of humming and haww'ing I layed out the behe gates almost encircling the whole green obelisk with a base on the biggest ledge with a ramp / bridge leading down to obby. It went up really quick (without a single command, all done by hand & prefarmed mats) ill update with pics tomorrow. Got the insides filled up, hopped over to Rag for imprints, grabbed a few more premades and fabbed up the insides of base including a bunch of grills for pig meat. A few small meat runs with my bary, cooked up a few fridges of meat. Hopped over to singleplayer rag and downloaded 6 rexs, 8 theriz and brought another 5 rexs and my megatherium from UO rag. Went out and collected 3x of each artifact for easy brood, got most all the tribute items for med brood incase along the way. With a bary its a breeze! Took a small break and got back on to set up for easy brood. Gathered all the dinos on the platform, 11 rexs, 3x theriz, 1x mega, 1x yuty (and my.shoulder dimorph i forgot about) and summoned brood portal. Fight was easy, as expected so i knocked out another. Let the pig heal up the crew and summoned medium brood portal. The fight was going smooth, about half way i kept having problems with my rexs focusing then my warning rex died (one rex at only 15k hp) I promptly stepped it up and was trying to focus the mob a bit. One of my other rexs died at around 30%, one more at 15%, then at around 5%, she went nuts and destroyed all but one rex and my mega (plus yuty im riding) I jump in on yuty to keep the spiders off the one rex, my mega dies. Broods almost dead and my last rex is bloody. Just when i think its going to die, the brood dies. I was running around frantically trying to retrieve saddles, managed to get a few app rex ones back but lost 2 mc theriz, 4 rex saddles. Im not too shocked on my loss, ill raise more rexs (or maybe more theriz with cakes) but atleast i have the element and tekgrams still. Im happy with the progress and now im gunning for ape and maybe easy dragon in 2 weeks.

Very productive day yesterday. Ive been having to keep a short hand list as i knock off things during the weekends, I get a lot of time (10+ hrs) each weekend day every second weekend so this results in usually very productive days. (And me forgetting half of what I do) Started off by getting some eggs down. Bred my new yellow argy with my females, got a half yellow baby ill be bringing to Desert later today. Bred more theriz, bad stats theyll be boss fodder fillers. Went for a long crystal run, got enough for a grinder, another forge. Found out about obsidian cave by TOTAL accident.. griffin flew in there while i dropped my controller haha. Threw a bed, box and a nice pick there. Gathered over 2000 obsidian, went for a few beaver runs and a small (2k ing) metal run. Made my grinder, a 2nd indy forge (for desert) and a bunch of other goodies for my island boss base. Went out looking for Ankys, need some high levels for breeding. Didnt find any worth taking, but i did spot an easter Quetz, 150! Luckily I had darts, narcoberry and was on my griffin. The quetz ended up trapping itself in a canyon waterfall, easy knock out and tamed out perfectly. I have lots of rex kibble. While flying the quetz back home I spotted a 150 anky, grabbed it and just flying over the big bridge spot another 150, mated pair for the one in my claws. Get em both in pens, knocked out and split my remaining 8 dilo kibble between the dilo One stands up 366 melee and the other some good hp. Make an egg and hatch it, the good melee passed. Ive been grinding wood and running around with 2x mateboosted mammoths and a beaver keeping a vault of wood on hand plus two capped mamoths (im only on 2x suprised it went so fast) I saved a vault of thatch and went on a few huge stone runs with argies + doed. Kept one argy capped with thatch and wood, while i kept filling the other with stone and crafting behe gates for my island base. I had a good flow, lots of extra mats and some good music.. ended up making over 20 sets. I was actually quite impressed, my harvest is basically an evo official weekend. I kept seeing a lot of decent level dimorphs around (120-150) so i loaded up with bolas and mutton while i was crafting and tamed 5 dimorphs. Loaded up the transport quetz with my new argy, a bear, the anky offspring, the 5 dimorphs and a premade stone base, indy forge and some other goodies and headed out to the desert metal cave, I need a consistant metal farm area for saddles. Load up a base there, with my dimorph bodyguards + argy went out and filled a forge of metal while i kept popping back for my quetz imprints (oh yeah, bred those quetz before i went to desert, 222 baby with only the head colours transfer from easter 150 quetz - only 1400 weight the 1600 from fem didnt xfer) Was afk for a few hours while making dinner, getting imprints on my quetz and theriz. Later that night I got back on, went out on another small metal run, topped off forge in desert and flew back to my base with quetz full of ingots, leaving the other crew behind for metal runs. When I get home I head out on another mats run, fill up vaults of each; stone thatch wood. Premade some more behe gates, base pieces and grinded more wood. Leveling is slow on 1x exp, so ive been grinding almost every second im near my base. Ill just load it up with half stone half wood and grind it while im on my doed runs etc. Need to hit 90 for that damn cooker. I threw all my premades into the obelisk and went out to find a yuty mate for my 145. After a long search (and a sidetracked 150 baryonyx tame) I found a 130 mate, good enough. Took it home and made an egg, hatched a bary egg (224 male) and stored a yuty egg for my island guy. Ill throw a bary egg to him tomorrow from the better pair for artifact runs. I love barys. I finally made my island character on SP. Didnt want to walk to green ob so i decided to just spawn a temporary wyvern to fly there. Arrived at green ob, let the wyvern die to a level 5 raptor (lol) then logged for the night. Its already been a good day, more about Sundays ventures later tonight Good luck fellow storygoers!

Sounds good, im real busy trying to sort my bosses for my next story step and after that ill be down for some.coop. Realistically i will probably need another rider for alpha dragon too I agree this will be a good source. Reminds me of diablo 2 singleplayer forums. I loved that type of community

Im sure id love some lan-style play on my nitrado, maybe you wanna come for a seat on rag bosses for fun, when i get there after my island ones? My server isnt impressive yet. Just basically those pics I posted haha. Im down for stuff like this

Hatched two theriz eggs, all 3 offspring got the colours but the bad melee and hp. Also hatched an argy for imprint bonus + base crafter.Kept em anyway because I need the 20 dinos for my bosses. Figure i can take out most easy and med with my decent breeds. Alpha when i improve bloodlines a bit. Went out to tame argys between, nabbed a 130 normal and a 140 easter (yellow body, green wingtips and blue feet) no great stats yet. Tamed a 130 Bary, some easter eggers, went on a metal run shortly, a mats run and made 4 of my mc theriz saddles. Im in need of major hide and ingots (not to mention 1.4k wood each) This was the most tedious of all my solo boss prep on offical.. making saddles haha. The argy should help a lot. Other than that not to much eventful, todays plan is to hatch more, do a bunch of metal runs, fill up a vault each of ingots, hide, fiber and wood. Also farm up more tribute items. Ill just admin the ones into my island unless it lets me transfer em (dont think so) I might make my island toon just to get started moving some theri and rexs over & to give me some boss motivation. Need a good bary for cave runs for artifacts too. Love the new argy mechanics so much i might have a theme for my SE, argy only flier and only tames the argy can move. We will see after some bosses!
