ehuhoser
Topic was created in another thread but basically, its not ready yet and more likely when the game is at full release will it most likely support play anywhere. They are working on it, but its not ready, more time is needed.

Danny200
To be honest I would of thaught that they would be rushing this so they can allow us to rent servers just imagine how much money they could make of they sold us rentable servers. Say 1000 people all paying around £30 a month for a server that's an easy 3000 but I honestly bet there is atleast 10k easy people who wold rent a server so £30 x 10,000 aha easy money a month Why haven't they done this yet? ehuhoser
Well gameservers locations are bought from datacenters etc so technically they are not at the location to set them up, they have to work with their partners as well to set up a system to make it all work right. Keep in mind as well that if you rent today and not tomorrow, they still have to pay for the box but you don't so yeah a lot of cost involved as well. For instance my host does not offer dedicated servers for cpu and ram usage but their competitor does. Why they don't is beyond me. It takes a lot to even add another datacenter location to the list as well. They are working on it, just a lot of partners and MS wants a piece I'm sure...
