Dino transfer - what

What

Like actually what? Transferring dinosaurs and items from any DLC server to any official island/centre

What? Was there any thought in balancing this? Surely the devs immediately realised this is just going to be used by trolls and griefers to bring in explosives/tames and ruin official servers for people trying to play? Surely it was always disabled before FOR THIS VERY reason? Why else would they make it so you couldn't bring dinosaurs across official servers? Why would they make this possible? There is no way to prepare when any tribes from any DLC servers could launch an attack.

Honestly just think of what this could mean for OFFICAL SERVERS. Tribes build up on a random DLC map. They can then move all the stuff onto an island/centre map and wreak havoc on that server and there's no way to prevent it. And everyone who plays that server will suffer, new tribes and old tribes.

It is unbalanced to allow tribes to transfer gigas/rexes/quetzals from one island/centre map to another, because people could abuse the system. Why is it any different when transferring dinosaurs from DLC to the Island? Im just absolutely baffled at the decision. The whole appeal of official servers to me and many others was the rules. No character transfer, Dino transfer etc. It just seems so ridiculous and outright Unbalanced to allow Dino transfers to official servers in anyway, let alone transfer of dinos from DLC that are outright stronger than those in the base game,  giving people who buy the DLC a straight advantage over normal players. The very definition of pay-to-win...

For starters, transfer is only from the Island/Center to Scorched Earth and vice-versa.

Secondly, players can only  bring their survivor transferring TO Scorched Earth, which means that as far as survival goes they'll have to build up in the same manner as regular survivors. They can, however, bring their character, gear, and dinosaurs from Scorched earth back to the Island or the Center.

Third, gateway transfers are type to type. This means that a pvp tribe cannot hide on a pve server to stockpile arms.

Unless they have their explosives all ready on the island they transferred from, they'll still need to stockpile it while they're on the scorched earth. The time they spend stockpiling there is time they're not spending antagonizing you. The same goes for any amount of time they are spending taming creatures.
