Tail attacks have had their damage reduced from 50 to 40, but it now inflicts a debuff called "Broken Bones":
This is the same as the Trike's "Crippled" debuff, but lasts longer (30 seconds instead of 4 seconds) and does not have the "Stunned" head FX.
After the buff is over, the victim gets a "Broken Bones Recovery" debuff that prevents getting the buff again but prevents the victim from running or jumping for 120 seconds.
Bite attack damage reduced from 30 to 25.
Ankylosaurus is now very resistant to player attacks, and attacks from small and medium dinos. Melee attacks also cause reflection damage to the attacker! It is also immune to torpor now.
Here's the exact percentages:
Projectiles, Bullets, and Player Attacks: 90% damage reduction and 25% of mitigated melee damage is reflected back to the attacker.
Small Dino (Dilo, Raptor, etc.) Attacks: 80% damage reduction and 50% of mitigated damage is reflected back to the attacker.
Medium Dino (Allo, Carno. etc.) Attacks: 50% damage reduction and 50% of mitigated damage is reflected back to the attacker.
Large dino attacks do not get reduced damage, but ALL damage is reflected back to the attacker!
To KO an Anky, you need to use an explosive weapon (such as a grenade) to flip it over and remove its armor for 30 seconds. While flipped, Anky will lose its damage reduction, reflection damage, and torpor immunity. It will be flipped for 30 seconds before correcting itself. If you are strong enough, you can correct a tamed Anky that is flipped. If your Anky is flipped and you are riding it, you will be dismounted and stunned (You will head-dive into the ground).
Large dino attacks also have a 15% chance to flip the Anky over.
When an Anky is knocked out while flipped, it has a unique animation. If it is tamed while knocked out, it will automatically correct itself. If it wakes up wild (failed tame), it will still be flipped.
Anky now has an 85% weight reduction on Crystal, Obsidian, and Aberration Gems. However, Metal Ingots weigh 2.5x as much in an Anky as they normally do!
