Deighv
I was able to log in just before getting the most recent updates for client and server (32.24) but now when I attempt to log into my dedicated server (hosted locally) I get the error "Joining Failed Unknown Error". Has anyone else run into this with their dedicated server, starting recently?
Kaprosuchus
yes i am doing hosting through nitrado and we are experiencing the same issue. no resolution so far. We are a partially linux community and we run the server without battle eye. not sure if that is helpful. Deighv
Thanks for the response. One thing I did notice is in the server listing it shows v32.21 versus v32.24 in the server log. Hopefully it's something as simple as incrementing the version correctly and we'll get a patch soon.
Snalibe
I have some people reporting this issue on our non-nitrado dedicated server, but some are able to get in.
Kaprosuchus
no longer getting the error, our joining just keeps timing out to launch screen after about 45 seconds. i also checked the "show player servers" box since the latest patch had to do with adding that. gonna give nitrado some time to shake things out and see what happens. HPTD1
The error is the server browser using cached data for servers:https://steamcommunity.com/app/2399830/discussions/0/4035852333632874839/ They try to push players onto Nitrado Hosted Servers with this update. reptared up the server browser once more
Deighv
I had to uncheck PC-Only Online Multiplayer in addition to checking Show Player Servers on the server browser to be able to log on again. Thank you all!
zReze
Thank you for the Ark.UseServerList 0 that fixed my issue of finding my server
justin2042
So I have a player dedicated server and I cannot (many people cannot) click the new "show player servers" button that they added in order to hide player servers and boost their poopty Nitrado servers. They added an extra step and you cant even click the reptaring button. I guess I just can't play on my server anymore? Do they think thats gonna get me to pay Nitrado? Total scumbag move but I'd expect nothing less at this point.

What's allowing me to get around all this is uncheck PC-Only, Check Show Player Servers, then search for the server name.

alexis2225
Unoffical Nitrdo(?) Server, cross play enabled can sometimes log in with no issues other times it's a 2+ hour fight to get on. All mods are up to date, game versions are the same, Does this to myself (xbox) friends PS5, seems random if you'll be allowed to play. Time of day makes no difference, any plans to fix this? Or a work around to be allowed to join in a timely manner?
