Beware - ARK Updates Can Break Nitrado Servers,

Hello. I recently encountered an issue with my Nitrado server, where it was stuck restarting. An ARK update had "broken" it and Nitrado's solution to fix it was to wipe all my world data (and progress...) I assumed this was a rare thing, so I started over, frustrated that I had wasted all that time.

 

I have encountered the same issue again tonight, and I have written a support ticket and stated that if the only way to fix it is to wipe all my progress again, then I would rather cancel my subscription. I built a new computer to play this game, but if I'm going to lose all my progress every other week, I'm starting to wish I'd never even purchased it. What is the point?

Were you running any mods on your server?

I ran into the same problem about 10mins ago when updating my servers and the only way i've fixed it so far is removing the mods

Same Problem. Cant load any Mod.

Yup this is exactly the problem i had, removing all mods should let you start it back up BUT depending on the mods, you could lose dinos or structures

This is apparently a problem with Curseforge (according to reddit) and they are working on it on their end.
