Atlas as Ark DLC?

What if they completely scrapped atlas and turned it into an ark dlc with some of the mechanics,tames,map,and other features of the game on a more small scale to fit Ark,I think it would make a bit of money and it’d be nice to have a more pirate like approach to Ark

It was planned as an ARK DLC to begin with.  They just realized the pirate theme did not fit the game story planned for ARK, as well as rewriting the server porting tech to be more robust (to form the atlas of islands porting crossing edges not just portals) and the opportunity to upgrade the mechanics a bit, (ships/structures/npcs) was a better fit for a new game instead of risking destabilizing ARK.

But most importantly SNAIL/WC saw the opportunity for another cash grab with their mega server of an infinite of isles connected together so a new game was made.   They forgot to remove the ARK menu at first though.

In my opinion one of the biggest flaws wild card could make is limit creativity on an open world map. If I want pirates riding a triceratops then I dnt see the problem with that. Would love a more pirate themed ark experience.
