Ark singleplayer events not working

Hello,

I am playing a singleplayer scorched earth campaign and want to start the Fear Evolved event.
In the advanced menu at the bottom i've put the text: FearEvolved

However when i load the game, even after restarts, the event does not seem to activate.

Can anyone assist me in getting the event to run?

all events fully work only on switch.

for pc and console versions, only winter event can be fully activated. for other events you can enable the colour palette.

unless WC decide to give a last touch of love to ASE fixing events like they did on switch, there is nothing you can do about that.

Huh.. but why would the option be in the menu and there are so many video's on youtube about how to do it, and for all those people it works fine.
Sorry i'm trying to understand why it doesnt work, i was really looking forward to the halloween event in my campaign.

I'm still hoping we get Fear Ascended. To enable the event add "-activeevent=FearEvolved" (without the quotes) to the launch options (see https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/7D01-D2DD-D75E-2955 for instructions). In another post on the forum, I read that only the colors work when activating an event this way. See:

It seems activated in my game, because I've seen those colors in my wild creatures. I'm just disappointed the music doesn't play. I hope this helps, let me know if I can be of more help.
