ASA QOL ideas

Suggestion

Some of these may be able to use from mods, but most should be in the base game anyway.

1. Add the prim+assets (items, engrams) to the new game. You already have the code, just dust it off and upgrade it.

2. Refresh all the dinos. (Why can't a parasaur jump?)

3. Wagons. Give us a 2 wheel cart that can be pulled by 1 creature (raptor, pachy, or larger, up to maybe shadowmane size) and a 4 wheel wagon pulled by 1 large, or 2 smaller. Weight limits could be 2000 for the 2 wheel and 4000 for the 4 wheel, with the dino limit being based off drag weight (5× carty weight).

4. Cross breeds. Make variant versions of dinos breedable with each other. At the very least, combine any version when it comes to pack and mate boosting.

5. More breedable creatures, and better control of breeding. (Why did we get snail breeding and not Griffins?)

Please keep this thread going, and add your own ideas. If we are getting a replacement ARK, make it better, not just new.

There are already a lot of suggestions, in the channel, but please read them through and click if they like.

However, I enter some of my wishes here anyway. At least a small part.

- I would like more interaction with the animals:
Petting, feeding from the hand, cleaning the animal with reactions of the animal to it. Maybe also with influence on the performance (no general increase, but rather eien deterioration, if the animal is not well).

- That animals also react to external stimuli, whether they are ridden or not. E.g. becoming nervous when dangerous animals are around.
Tame conspecifics, have a calming effect, if a group animal. Solitary animals also bite other tame animals and are more restless when there are too many conspecifics.

- Maybe also the possibility to mate tame females with wild conspecifics, so that colors/skin markings can be transferred. (Values only by setting, if the taming level is not lower than the wild level).

- Adjustable taming possibilities for single animals (something like immersive taming)

- That it is NOT possible to tame all animals from the beginning, or to breed them out.

- Monkeys or similar animals also collect the stones/wood and the like lying around on the ground.

- I would also like that the taming bonus can be turned off.

- That you could set which animals can be tamed at what age and whether the tameable animals have a level limit.
So that you really have to work a lot with your animals to improve them.

- Harvesting of certain raw materials via a radial menu, where the craftsmanship is crucial how much and how fast you harvest.

- That you can see injuries on yourself, as well as applied Verbande.
More different bandages/medicine to treat different wounds/diseases. With slow effect.

- More realistic harvest amount for animals and raw materials.

- Please no straw from trees.

- Also small walls/roofs and the like.

Human Character TLCs, giving our characters the ability to gain scares, burns, and frostbite. chances to break, or loose limbs and have different types of injury debuffs. Allowing tames to give characters injuries, such as if you are riding an Equus and you dismount to check if it is okay, it kicks you and knocks the wind out of you or breaks your ribs, giving you a debuff like the gas vein debuff or decreases your max O2 to 75-50% for a short period of time. Or if you're using a Megalania for battling and you dismount to heal it and it bites you, but instead of getting MEGA-RABIES, it gives you a bacterial infection that decreases your max health by 50-75% for 5 minutes (that can stack 3 times) or until you cure yourself with a greater antidote. Or give us frostbite that is visible if your not wearing the right gear in a winter biome. Or give us 2nd and 3rd degree burns that don't end in you dying and burn scares that you can get from flame arrows, fire wyverns/magmasaurs, lava, flamethrowers and phoenixes. Acid burns that visible on your character from poison wyverns/basilisks, rivers on extinction and Reapers. Breaking or Loosing limbs in fights against carnivores and herbivores that don't start at 1/3 health left, that could start at 90 hp out of a hundred health instead. Injuring your dominant arm making you have to use your other arm for some time. Or losing it entirely making you use that hand permanently or until you die where you can choose to respawn with your arm again or keep the missing arm, this would apply for both types of burns, scares and frostbite as well. This would be an awesome feature that they can add to the upcoming games!!!!

I didn't realize you also put down visible injuries. But your Idea for animals to react to external stimuli would work really well with a Character TLC
